About this condo rental
Luxury penthouse of 120 m2 in a beautiful location (30 meters to the beach) with beautiful sea view and panoramic view of the Centre of Carvoeiro with the beach on your doorstep! There is parking facility in a Garage Box less then 100 m from the penthouse. The penthouse also has solar panels and a solar water heating system, therefore it is a very environmentally friendly home. The Penthouse Casa Amarela is located on the third and top floor. It has a nice round 50m2 living room with a fantastic view. Surrounding is 100m2 terrace with outside shower and breathtaking views. There is internet TV so you can continue your favorite (sport) programs. Fast Wifi is at your disposal as well. There are also two spacious bedrooms with two modern bathrooms and a spacious fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have air conditioning. The access to the penthouse directly from the street with entrance security door + intercom, staircase and elevator leads to the penthouse on the 3rd floor. There is a villa manager that you can reach and can answer all your questions. He speaks fluent Dutch, German, Portuguese and English. Casa Amarela will be cleaned during your stay and supplied with clean towels and sheets. There is a cot and a baby chair for the little ones. In the storage room you will find beach chairs, umbrellas, beach-toys for the youngest and a Weber bbq. Within walking distance of less than one minute from Casa Amarela are several restaurants, bars and shops boutiques etc. There are many picturesque and beautiful beaches nearby. The nearest is in front of the apartment just 30 meters away. The beach is sheltered by high cliffs. You can also step on one of the traditional fishing boats for a trip to the caves around Carvoeiro. You can make great walks over the cliffs and explore the scenery at Algar Seco or take beautiful photos at the Paraiso Beach. If you fancy exploring the area, take the car and drive through the beautiful scenery to Monchique in the mountains, or to the historic towns of Silves and Caldas. In Carvoeiro you can enjoy delicious fresh fish and shellfish food, but also in the fishing port of Ferragudo within a 10 minute drive. The beautiful cities Lisbon and Sevilla (Spain) are both about a 2.5 hour drive. Are you a golfer? Within a distance of 5 km there are several beautiful golf courses such as; Vale de Milho (9 hole par 27) - 5 minutes. Quinta do Gramacho (18 holes par 72) and Pinta (18 holes par 71) both within 10 minutes drive. You can also choose one of the other Championship courses a 30 minute drive; Palmares and Penina and the beautiful courses (35 minutes drive) at Quinta do Largo and Vale do Lobo. A day out with the kids? The children can also enjoy a day in one of the theme parks in the area. They will enjoy the Zoo Marine Park (dolphins, orcas, sea lions) Slide and Splash Water Park, Krazy World all within 10-30 minutes drive from Carvoeiro. Groceries. Opposite Casa Amarela are several small 'Mom and Dad 'supermarkets. Furthermore, within a 5 min drive there is a big Intermarché and within a 10 minute drive there is a Aldi and Apolonia supermarket (large and luxurious). If you don't have a car at your disposal than take one of the special buses that wil bring you there. Medical assistance. 30 meters away in the main street is a medical practice with GPs. Transport Right in front of Penthouse Casa Amarela there is a bus stop and you will also find there taxis that can take you to the airport, golf course, etc. You do not need to hire a car, but if you want to make trips it is convenient. There is free parking along the main street and near the Penthouse. Within walking distance of less than 1 minute there are several restaurants, bars and shops. There are several picturesque and beautiful beaches nearby. The nearest is in front of the apartment and only 30m away. The beach is sheltered by high cliffs. Here you can also go along with the traditional fishing boats for a trip to the caves around Carvoeiro. You can also make fantastic walks over the cliffs and explore the landscape at Algar Seco, or you take nice pictures at the Paraiso beach. If you want to explore the area, take the car and drive through the beautiful landscape to Monchique in the mountains, or to the historic towns of Silves and Caldas. You can eat delicious fresh fish and seafood (the fischermans harbour in Ferragudo (10 min drive) is a must go. This is our third time staying at the wonderful penthouse apartment. Everything was up to its usual high standard, beautifully clean ( thank you Olga). and very well equipped. We had all our meals out on the balcony looking at the sea, who could wish for more. There are some lovely restaurants close by, with the sky bar just opposite, where you can have a drink while watching the sun go down . We thoroughly recommend this apartment, you will not be disappointed.

I have been taking holidays in Carvoeiro since the 1980s. I have stayed in hotels, villas and apartments. This is undoubtedly the best appointed apartment I have stayed in. Very central location - which is a big bonus in times more out of season, though I think some people may find it a noisy venue in mid summer. Very close to the beach, & easy walking distance to many restaurants.
The owner & property manager were both really helpful.
I just loved my stay in this wonderful apartment, and cannot wait to hopefully stay there again.

This apartment was amazing. My Friend and I stayed 8 nights and it was simply breath taking.
The description is exactly what you can expect. The balcony was where we spent our mornings and evenings from coffee to night caps. I will be returning next year and hope to stay here again. I recommend this rental with a 5 Star rating+.

Great location
This is a really nice apartment. It’s in the heart of Carvoeiro and so convenient for bars and restaurants. It has a fantastic wraparound balcony. The pictures don’t lie. Apartment manager is easy to contact and very helpful. Highly recommend

We have just returned from our annual holiday in Carvoeiro and the wonderful Casa Amarela which is without doubt the perfect place to stay.

Breakfast every morning on the large veranda with the great sea views it the perfect way to start your day . There are also four large sunbeds on the veranda for relaxing in the sun.
It’s unique location just adds to your holiday with the beach only a stones throw away. Great restaurants, shops and even a couple of small supermarkets are all within walking distance.
The apartment manager is available if needed and the lovely owner Rennie will make sure that you have everything you need.

We have just returned from our annual holiday in Carvoeiro and the wonderful Casa Amarela which is without doubt the perfect place to stay.
It was our 7th time of staying at Cassa Amarela and it’s always the highlight of our holiday. From the beautiful large wrap around veranda to the truly excellent interior it has everything you need.
There’s a large well equipped kitchen, two lovely bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, two very modern bathrooms plus a large relaxing lounge .

A wonderful penthouse apartment
An excellent apartment with a lovely wrap around balcony. We ate every meal outside as you had a direct view of the sea. Loads of restaurants close by. Enjoyed a day trip to Silves, taxi cost about £16 each way. Will definitely return

Return to Carvoeiro
We have been visiting Carvoeiro over a long period of time and have stayed in many lovely places but this apartment was one of the best. It is so central to everything just a short walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need to relax and enjoy your holiday . We booked pre COVID and with the airbridge decision being touch and go Rennie could not have been more flexible and understanding, she was helpful and very responsive. Our time flew by. When we next return to Carvoeiro we would stay here in a heartbeat.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Right in the heart of Carvoeiro, we found this spot to be perfect for hiking the cliff walk trails as well as for restaurant hopping and sight seeing. It was absolutely spotless. The only thing missing was a dryer and on rainy days it’s hard to dry your clothes.

Perfect!
Perfect location- in the heart of it all in Carvoeiro centre. We have visited this property twice now, everything you need is there, beach towels, ice box, parasol, beach chairs. The apartment is kept spotlessly clean, we had a 9 day stay this occasion, only wish we could have had longer! the apartment is in demand though. We had change of towels whilst there, & the apartment was cleaned half way through our stay. Beds comfortable - lovely walk-in showers ( 2 bathrooms)

First time in Carvoeiro. What a jem.
The booking was very straightforward with Renne. She told us everything we needed to know to make our trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. We asked about a possible airport transfer to and from the apartment and this was even not a problem for her with a little more information. The transportation was excellent also. If you read all the great reviews about the penthouse then yes, we agree with all those before us. Their description of the accommodation is very accurate. Perfect for us in almost every way.
The Town is excellent. The beach was brilliant and the bars/restaurants /supermarkets /shops are in abundance. A 6 euros uber taxi will get you to the aldi supermarket for all your needs and it is far cheaper than the supermarkets in the town. But essentials are always available in the local shops. There are lots of bars and restaurants to suit every taste and budget. Excellent pizza takeaway a minutes walk left out from the apartment, left up the next back street and you're there. Pizzas to die for and cheap. Jomar snackbar/restaurant just a little further up the same street. Great food for little money. Go out of the main square up the side streets and find little jems of place to eat and drink for little money. And they really appreciate you..
We look forward to to going back to the penthouse at some point and certainly back to Carvoeiro..

Superb Apartment
This is a really excellent property and I would highly recommend it to anyone to stay here. It was immaculately clean ( thank you Olga for looking after us), very well equipped with everything you could need and beautifully furnished and finished. Central location in the town of Carvoeiro is ideal with lovely views over the town and out to the sea. The huge balcony/terrace is the selling feature of this apartment and we spent so much time on there just soaking up the sun, enjoying the view and listening to the live music below in the evenings. The outdoor seating was great for meals with optional shade available with the very nice mechanical sun blinds - plenty of room for the sunloungers with comfortable cushions as well. We loved the terrace.
The booking process was easy and efficient with Rennie and Rob who manages the villa was helpful and pleasant. All in all, 100% for this apartment and we may definitely return in the future.

The Perfect Place
We have just returned from our 10 day holiday in the wonderful town of Carvoeiro where we were very lucky to have stayed in the beautiful Casa Amarela Penthouse apartment.
There’s no doubt that staying there was the highlight of our holiday as it offered us 5 star accommodation in a perfect location.
From the beautiful and very large wrap -around veranda to the truly excellent interior, the owner Rennie has made Casa Amarela the perfect place to stay.
There is an extremely well equipped kitchen with absolutely everything you need , two lovely bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds and two beautiful bathrooms , one of which is the en-suite to the main bedroom.
There is a very large lounge and dining area but of course the beautiful veranda is the place to dine whilst enjoying the wonderful sea view. There is also a private lift to the apartment which, for the less fit of us, is perfect.
We have stayed in apartments and villas in the past but nothing has compared to the high quality of Casa Amarela. It’s unique location in the very centre of Carvoeiro certainly adds to your stay as there are numerous excellent restaurants and cafes within walking distance .
The apartment manager is available if needed and the lovely Olga pops in to take care of it all a couple of times in the week and an amazing job she does to. ( thank you Olga )
Needless to say, we have already booked for next year as it was such a love.y holiday.

Wonderful vacation property.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. The location was ideal in a small beach community. We could walk to the beach and many restaurants. We liked it so much that we elected to stay local instead of exploring the rest of the Algarve region. It was very relaxing.
My 15 year old daughter really enjoyed the beach and checking out all of the local gelato stores!!
We are already thinking of booking it again!!

Amazing apartment - a true gem
Our stay at Casa Amarela was nothing short of fantastic. Despite the excellent reviews and photographs of the apartment, it still managed to exceed our expectations.
The apartment is very bright and spacious, and and nicely furnished. The layout is well thought out, and the numerous sliding doors allow for a nice breeze to come through. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of room to store additional items.
The apartment was very clean upon our arrival. We have rented numerous apartments through VRBO, but none were kept as well as this one. Olga was very nice and even came to clean one time during our one-week long stay. Robert, the property manager was nice as well and made himself available to us if needed, and Rennie was so easy to communicate with through VRBO. It was really a pleasure from start to finish.
The Terrace: The view from the very large terrace is superb. Every meal that we ate at home, we dined on the terrace. In fact, we ate more at home more because of the terrace. There is also a well-thought out door from the kitchen to the terrace making setting up for meals quite easy. And after putting the kids to bed, my husband and I would often sit out there and enjoy the night sky.
Location: The apartment is centrally located, overlooking the town square, and just steps from the ocean. We enjoyed the live music each night and took our kids down to join the great family atmosphere of what we referred to as "the party." We also explored many nearby towns and beaches and were about 5 minutes away from several major grocery stores. There is also a great walking trail up the hill, which can be seen in the photo from the terrace, which goes along the ocean.
We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. We hope to return one day very soon and stay for longer. It was really a memorable stay. Thank you for having us Rennie!

A well equipped and well appointed penthouse apartment with a stunning balcony overlooking the town
A superb location and place to stay in the algarve with easy access to many areas and beaches. Parking would be amazing asset. The live music was fun but sometimes went a little late

Fantastic apartment...but one niggle
Stayed for two weeks in May/June, fantastic apartment, brilliant location, very close to amenities. Very clean during our stay and Olga the cleaner was very pleasant and kept the apartment very clean, even tidied our shoes by the door :)
Unfortunately we didn’t get the weather to enjoy the balcony at its best, better luck next time.
Our only niggle was that the lift to the apartment was out of order when we arrived, it was fixed a week later but unfortunately only worked for one day before breaking down again and remained unfixed for our holiday duration. Walking up the stairs was fine but a bit inconvenient as we were on a golfing holiday and had to carry our golf bags up and down the stairs each time we played.

Totally unique property
We had a fantastic 8 days staying here. The photos look amazing but the property is even better when you arrive.
Opening the blinds to a stunning view and an amazing terrace simply takes your breath away.
Carvoeiro is a lovely resort with beautiful coastal walks and an abundance of good restaurants.
The penthouse has everything you need and is immaculately clean. The shape of the building feels like you are in a lighthouse or windmill and Rennie and Bert have really added some lovely furniture and quirky little things like butterflies and sea shells to make the place look very magical indeed.
Overall we had a lovely week of mostly good weather and spent a lot of time on the terrace both during the day and when returning after a lovely meal in one of the many good restaurants.
Don’t hesitate to book you won’t be disappointed and we hope to return soon.

Fantastic Penthouse with Awesome Views
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Amarela with its lovely amenities and views. The weather was unusually cool, windy and rainy in the early part of our stay. However, this apartment was so spacious and bright, it made a great place to hang out with a good book when it was not so nice to go out. We even used the fireplace some evenings to warm things up. We loved the central location of the apartment in town with the beach and many good restaurants within easy walking distance. Rennie and the property manager, Truus, were both very response to our requests.

Great Location
Stayed at Casa Amarela for the month of November, principally to walk some of the fabulous Algarve coastline. The apartment in Carvoeiro is ideally situated for this, and is also central to many other area's of interest, including Silves, Loule, Monchique and Sagres. The apartment was very nice and spacious, and fully equipped including BBQ and sunbeds, ideal for up to 2 couples or a small family.

A Gem in Carveoiro!
Just returned from a 10 day holiday in this Penthouse Apartment. The photos do not do it justice, such a spacious and beautifully furnished property! The views over the town and the beach are marvellous. When you are sat on the terrace and in the apartment itself, it is a little oasis above the hustle and bustle of this delicious resort. The streets are a delight to explore and lots of lovely food to be had in the many restaurants. But if you wish to dine at home, there is everything you need in the well equipped kitchen.
Great weather, a beautiful beach and attentive hosts made this a holiday to remember. We hope to return again in the near future.

Beautiful Villa
The penthouse matched the description perfectly! A beautiful view of the sea and the town square. Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and the terrace is stunning! Perfect spot for dinner, drinks etc. Great to be so close to the beach and restaurants. The only down side is that the noise from the town square is sometimes a bit loud at night and on one evening it went well past midnight.

Spacious and well appointed property. Sunny sea view terrace. Clean and tidy with an added bonus of mid week clean and towel change. Beach, restaurants, shops all a stones throw. Music in the square can be enjoyed each evening, it is very loud but does finish promptly at midnight and then the town is quiet overnight.

We have been coming to Carvoeiro for the past few years and have finally found the perfect apartment for us as a family. Close to everything, spacious, quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed our stay immensely.
