Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden wir sicher wieder kommen

Wir haben Ohne Frühstück gebucht, aber wir waren sehr zufrieden, Lage war gut und das personal sehr freundlich

Wir waren 11 Frauen, uns hat gefehlt eine Spiegel mit Vergrösserung und beleuchtet und uns besser schminken zu können

Ett bra läge med utsikt över havet.

Ett perfekt läge. Vi hade ett rum med terrass och utsikt över havet. Ett bra rum med en bekväm säng och ett stort badrum. Ganska dyrt men om man vill bo vid promenaden så får man betala.

Vissa detaljer, borde hotellet uppmärksamma. Som att avfallshinken i badrummet var trasig, att dörren till badrummet var svår att stänga, att smink spegel hängde lös etc. Med andra ord, en detaljöversyn borde göras för höja kvaliteten på rummet.

Perfect Nice hotel

Perfect location, beautiful grand hotel, super friendly staff. The bed, in particular, was fabulous - super king size and extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom. No need to pay extra for the sea view, because the setting will draw you outside! Would definitely stay again

Für ein Wochenendtrip das perfekte Hotel

Wunderschön gelegen an der Promenade. Zimmer Meerblick😍, groß und hell, frisch renoviert, tolles Bett, große Dusche. Netter Empfang, Möglichkeit Gepäck unter zu stellen und sogar darauf hingewiesen das man sich umziehen kann. Frühstück war für mich vollkommen ok, man kann sich sogar auf die Terrasse unter den Orangenbaum setzen. Die Lage und Ausstattung war perfekt für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt.

Keine Steckdosen in der Nähe eines Spiegels, weder im Bad noch im Zimmer, z. B. für eigenen Fön.

C'est la 1ère fois dans un hôtel, que le réfrigérateur est vide. Dommage de ne pouvoir consommer une boisson dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner très médiocre. Dans des établissement de moindre standing, un personnel nous demande ce que nous désirons boire (café ou thé par exemple). Ici, il faut se servir, comme dans un Campanil ou un hôtel de quartier. Regrettable ! De plus, le réapprovisionnement laisse à désirer. J'ai dû demander des ingrédients (beurre absent) et jus d'orange dont les deux distributeurs étaient vides). Je pense que pour le prix des chambres, le petit déjeuner vaut celui d'un tarif chambre de 8 euros, pas plus !

Pleasant

The location of the hotel is in the heart of Nice and right on the beach. The exterior of the building is also very beautiful. Staff are friendly.

The carpets in the rooms look very old and dirty. There is a different smell in the hotel corridors. Towels in the room are old. There are Paper cups in the bathroom. There was no minibar in our room. Unfortunately, the room was a complete disappointment.

You are right across the road from the Mediterranean Sea. The bar has a nice patio. Staff very good. Breakfast elaborate. Marble floor in the foyer. Clothesline gizmo in my room. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom by European standards. I saw some negative reviews. Don't believe them. My air conditioning was powerful..

I wasn't that impressed with the cleanliness of the sea, or walking on pebbles. Need water shoes.

Great location, good for city centre shops and restaurants, beach and airport, plus easy for travel.

High floor, clean tidy modernised room overlooking sea. Great location and close t9 airport.

Great stay

I enjoyed the view, the amazing location on the promenade. I specifically got a room with sea view and thoroughly enjoyed the room. Staff was friendly, and helpful. If I come back to stay in Nice it will be here again.

It was a pleasant stay.

Breakfast is good but cooked offerings very limited.

Early arrival really needs to have a room ready as guests have had a long day travelling from early on. We had to wait till 3pm to get the room and this has happened on several occasions. We were travelling from 4am. This must be taken into consideration when giving out rooms.

Nice old Royal style hotel renewed 50 years ago.

With no doubt the best is the old building of the Royal Hotel and its location. All facilities are clean, but everywhere sounds pressure of decades since the last renewal of the Hotel (apparently during 60th). It corresponds well to the 3 star rating, but clearly it was high standing hotel 100 years ago. The price was also correct with regards to festivities.

The slightly disappointing point was the continental breakfast. It was too simple for the 17 euros asked. It resembled 8-12 Euros breakfasts proposed by lower rank hotels (e.g. IBIS budget) but was far away from those proposed for 15-18 Euros by IBIS or Radisson or any Nordic Hotels. We have selected this Hotel using "parking" as our main search criteria. We have payed the reservation and only after were informed that there is no parking at the Hotel.

Exceptional

Fabulous hotel and staff wonderful. What a location, sea right in front with the famous blue chairs to sit and take in the views, shops and cafes, restaurants and the old town a 10 minute lovely walk by the pier. Rooms are so spacious and nice lounge area to sit and people watch. The foyer of great hotel is very nice too where guests say bon jour and little chats. Have stayed a few times at this wonderful hotel. Perfect location across from the bay of angels, so central to everywhere. Take a train to Monaco for the day, it is so beautiful and everyone is so happy there.

Outstanding view and location. Horrible service and decaying lobby.

Outstanding ocean views.

Staff. Night clerk downright rude and unaccommodating. Room’s bathroom stunk like a sewer. Requested a room change. Clerk — not the night clerk - accommodated our request telling us it would be for one night then we would have to move again. But then, found us a room on the first floor which was supposed to be an upgrade but I don't know where the upgrade was. Turns out this room had a terrace, but ocean view limited because it was on the first floor. However, the unacceptable part was the facr that it was a shared terrace which means that if we left our door open, it would be exposed to other guests. I then went back to the front desk, that’s when I encountered the horrible night clerk, who didnt even listen and just flat out told me thatmI had already changed mt room once and it wasnt going to be changed again. He was insulting. I expleined to hom that I would have preferred under all circumstances to not even have to change rooms but the first room wasnt acceptable because of the stinky bathroom and the second was unsafe. Didnt matter. Told me to check with the morning clerk. We were staying 3 nights and it was hot, we couldnt open the terrace doors be ause of safety. The hotel lobby needs some serious glc and the breakfast at 20 euros per day was outright horrible. Had it not been for the ocean view and location, I would not have stayed there.

just location

dirty room, dirty towels, old hotel & too much expensive for what they offer. the man in reception was very impolite. we have payed for a room with balcony and he insisted to give us a room without balcony because he had all the rooms reserved and he told us to wait 1 night to change the room wich we have payed and he asked us to pay the city tax again because the city tax that i have payed from booking when i payed the room was invalid for him

Exceptional

Relaxed atmosphere. Our superior ocean view room was larger than usual and robes very comfortable. Balcony excellent for rest and relaxation. Best coffee maker ever!

Nothing. All was better than expected.
