Welcome to “Lil Orphan Annie”, our second-row vacation home perfect for a family beach vacation (including your dogs). Lil Orphan Annie is thoroughly cleans and sanitizes for your family's safety and the safety of our community between each guest. SORRY, No check in or checkouts on Saturdays during the summer season. This beach house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Enjoy your morning coffee on a large deck with ocean views. The house is on a quiet street just a few yards away from public beach access, which is two houses down and across the street. Due to no public beach parking, the beach is less crowded. The large backyard offers many options for a family and enjoying the salty air. The house is a bright, clean, updated vacation home that sleeps 6 comfortably with a master king bed with attached bathroom, another king bed, and twin bunkbeds in the bunkroom. The bunkbeds are a perfect size for kids. Our kitchen is equipped with all the necessities that you need to make meals at the beach (coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes mugs, and more). A few amenities include • WIFI television • WIFI • large flat screen SMART TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (Just enter your account info) • Full-size front load washer and dryer • large deck • large backyard - Not fence • outdoor shower • Air Conditioning/ Ceiling fans • Parking for 2-3 cars/ small boat • Charcoal Grill for outdoor cooking * Boat parking with one other car, total vehicles, and/or taller two ***linens ARE provided by a rental linen company, which also includes bathroom towels and wash rags. They arrived in a tote clean and fresh. I take care of setting the rental up for you. All you need to do is put the sheets on the beds and put the towles/rags in the bathrooms & kitchen. *** Security: Smoke detectors are inside, and cameras are located outside the property for your safety and ours. Pet Policy: • Two dogs maximum ($125 non-refundable pet fee for one pet, $200 non-refundable pet fee for two pets) • Under 50 lbs • Please do not leave dogs unattended, but if you do, please crate them, which you need to bring • All dogs must be house trained • Please, no dogs on the furniture ** if you don't see the pet fee added please let me know and I'll add it, if dogs are not paid for you may be charged an additional fee. Come create unforgettable memories and experience the beautiful beaches of North Topsail! Property was just as described and just steps from the beach access. While we've stayed at fancier homes on the island, this property was clean, convenient, and a great value.

Location was awesome! Didn’t mind the short walk to the beach. House was exactly as pictured. Comfy beds, had everything we needed. If we had one complaint, it would be that there’s not full cable TV. But definitely not a deal breaker for us. We would stay at ‘lil orphan Annie’s again.

Ocean Annie was a great place for our family four. Lots of room for all of us and plenty of sunshine. We loved its close location to the beach.

The house was perfect for our beach vacation. The owner was super responsive to all of my questions. I loved not having to worry about house keys and being so close to the beach. The outside shower was convenient for keeping sand out of the house. Thank you!

At check in we found the hvac was not working and lights were all off so the house was cold and dark, not a great first impression. The owner was quick to respond and offered the neighboring duplex. The property location and size are great. The furnishings are fine, the bed was comfortable. Overall, the property is as advertised but could use some refreshing. The door locks worked intermittently (low/dead battery on keypads and typical beach corrosion made the keys stick), floors needed to be swept better, a few burned out light bulbs, no cutting board (made meal prep hard). We didn't alert the owner to the minor issues as it was Thanksgiving and we didn't expect anything to be done but I'm sure the owner would have responded appropriately had we alerted them. Overall, everything was fine but with the cost of the cleaning fee plus non refundable pet fee I guess we expected a little more.

This was a trip for us to see family in Wilmington, birthday for grandson and beach time with cousins. It was perfect especially when we learned we could drive out on the beach. My husband is handicapped and that was such a great place for him. We loved our time at Orphan Annie!!!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay! Plenty of room for a family of 5 (3 older teen boys). Clean and well stocked kitchen essentials along with ample linens. Super short walk to beach. Nice waterview. Many thanks!

The place was well decorated. Again, this property was an ideal find for our family.

This place is exactly as advertised. Close to beach (very short walk). It is not fancy but clean and comfortable. We were pleased to find a place that would welcome our dog. We would definitely return sometime.

This condo was beautifully decorated (albeit small) and right across the street from the beach. There is a little tiki bar down the street but otherwise you have to drive to restaurants.

1st of all; great location. If you want a good spot in the beach. This is an amazing spot!!! It is away from most of the touristy attractions, but close enough for convenience. It is a very short walk to the public beach access and in a quiet part of the island.
2nd, the listing needs updated due to the pictures and the description not being an accurate depiction of what the property is. The walls are scuffed pretty good. One of the bed frames is just a wooden slab now. The backyard no longer has a fence around it. (Most of this I do believe this is no fault to the owner- probably reckless renters/weather related) but it still needs updated, because we booked here based on one of those features.
3rd - during our stay the AC was having problems the entire time, I saw from old reviews that this was a problem before. Also, the linen company only provided 4 bath towels for 6 people, the rest were hand towels and wash cloths, so we ended up having to buy extra towels, since their linens company never dropped more off. Also, the right sheets were not delivered for the house. We had to use queen sheets for the twin bedroom. There were places in the house that have not been cleaned(refrigerator, shelves, lights...) Also, the company did not take the trash out Saturday. Owners, I would highly recommend reevaluating the cleaning/service company y’all are using. I don’t think you are getting what you are paying for.

The beach was fantastic: wide sandy beach, not crowded, and easy to get to. We'll plan to stay here again in the future.

There were five of us plus a dog and we all had plenty of room. Short walk to the beach. This is one of the quietest, least tourist - y beaches I've been to. The home is as described and the owner is easy to reach. Highly recommend!

This unit was perfect for our family gathering. It is clean and recently updated. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach is right across the street, with access just a few houses down. It has a good sized deck with a view of the ocean between the houses. Chris, the manager, was very helpful in orienting us!
