Good location if you are ready for downtown.

This is located very very downtown MoBay. It's almost across the street from the beautiful St James church. It is walking distance from many plazas, convenience stores and banks. It is also walking distance from the route taxi hub and to the craft market. But in MoBay being downtown can mean honking and noise and it is not their fault but there was a jackhammer working next door when we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us tips about food and route taxis. The beds were memory foams and the comfiest of all our stay in Jamaica. We had room 2 which had 3 single beds. This is not easy to find in Jamaica. There are no windows, bugs might get in, though there wasn't much mosquitoes compared to everywhere else we went. I don't think there is a water heater. The backyard is very chill and a good place to meet other travellers. The kitchen is well organized and beer can be acquired without getting out. The gate is locked and people with rental cars could park inside. I would not want to drive in that area though. It's chaotic.

Noise. No sidewalks, or dangerous sidewalks. Nearly getting hit by a car when getting out of the taxi out front.

Douche froide seulement, pression de l’eau très faible. Fenêtre qui bloque qui ne veut pas rester ouverte. Wifi seulement à l’extérieur pas dans les chambres. Il fait quand même bien chaud dans la chambre

Not recommended

I would never come back or recommend this accommodation for many reasons. There was at least 3 rats I saw in the property including one right inside my room which was absolutely disgusting. The room had a stinky stagnant smell because there was no air circulation (no AC and the windows did not open). The hostel is located in a shady area that felt unsafe especially after dark, it also got too loud from music blaring outside at night. Wifi does not work anywhere inside, only outside in the backyard which was very inconvenient. No hot water in the shower which was one of the biggest problems. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The host was unpleasant, unfriendly and unwelcoming. I have stayed in so many hostels and guest houses around the world and never encountered a host like that who never said hello, thank you, welcome, how was your day/stay/sleep, etc. or even smiled, NOT even once. I would find somewhere else.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend.

Vanessa ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet und hat eine gute Größe. Man trifft auf viele andere Backpacker und kommt gut und schnell ins Gespräch. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut ausreichend.

Wäscheleine bzw. Möglichkeiten zum aufhängen von nassen Sachen wäre noch gut.

Lugar para dormir apenas.

Recebi orientações que me ajudaram a ir nos lugares onde eu queria. O hostel fica relativamente perto dos pontos de interesse, se você não se importar de caminhar, é possível ir a muitos lugares a pé.

Os hóspedes são um pouco esquisitos. Alguns parecem morar lá. Todos foram simpáticos, mas não é exatamente um ambiente familiar para você levar menores de idade, por exemplo. A água do banheiro é fria, não esquenta. O bairro é bem pobre e complicado e não é seguro a noite. É um hostel apenas para dormir e passar o dia fazendo coisas de turismo na rua.

Great place for backpackers

The person who checked me in was very friendly! The bathrooms were quite spacious. It was a very chill and relaxed environment. They have a fully equipped kitchen! It was a close walk to Harmony Beach Park and the Hip Strip.

There were some homeless people at the gate asking for money, so just be mindful that you'll have to pass them when getting in and out of the property. There's no AC (but thankfully, they do have fans!). The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, you'll have to be outside to connect.

Overall Good Experience!

I liked most the location of the property... right at the heart of the city, near to all places of interest, especially, the bus station. There were ample food options just outside. The rooms were big and spacious.

The property lacked 2 vital requirements of travelers of all ages... 1) a hot shower, body wash/ soap, and 2) filtered water, especially the first one. They are requested to think over it.

Good place for budget backpackers at a central location

The value for money is great for a hostel dorm room. I would recommend it to backpackers. The location is at the city centre, close to all points of interest, beaches and Hip Strip. The room is tidy and clean. All the guests in my room are nice, respectful and responsible. The host is amiable.

There is no wifi in rooms, no curtains/blinds for each bed and the shower is cold. But overall, I would recommend it to backpackers, you will get what you expect and I enjoyed my stay.

Nice building with great vibes. Right in the middle of dtw. On-site behind gate parking. Beers on honor system! Western Union and market kitty corner. Dtw fountain 2 blocks away.

Could have used ice machine.

This place has a whole vibe! Lovely staff, lovely people and the courtyard is a great place to chill and meet new people. As a solo traveller, I would definitely recommend and come back if/when I re-visit Mobay!

For one night, it was alright.

Great location, cute property, and clean

Wifi can’t be used in the rooms, no AC, one co-ed washrooms ( 2 toilets and 2 showers) for whole floor.

Excellent place at Montego Bay downtown

The good vibes, the ambient and the host were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I wish I could stay for a few more days there. The house is incredible and very well maintained. Also, they have 2 dogs, and the little one is adorable.

Very good

The place is nice and clean It's close to the beach, you can just walk from the guesthouse The staff is very friendly I loved everything about it

Unfortunately my friend and I had a bad experience with the man who was taking care of the place in the afternoon when we left. We booked an Indrive and he argued that we would get scammed by the taxi driver, then he implied that we didn't know how to move in Jamaica and from there there was an escalation of offensive approaches from him which made also the other guests uncomfortable with the situation.

Don’t think twice, this place is amazing!

I liked everything about this property! people I had met throughout Jamaica highly recommended it and I noticed a few returning. Vanessa and her team and really kind and helpful. Its like living with friends, everyone feels equal.

If I had to pick something. I’d like hot water in the shower, but I’m Australian so cold water even in a hot environment is unusual to me. That said! it was always comfortable.

A waste of taxi fare. Went to a beautiful apartment down the road for £20 more right on the beach fr

Nothing. We were met by a large rottweiler dog and told to touch him so he knows us. My husband doesn't like dogs. The whole place inside and out smelt of wet dog. We were then informed that this place shared a bathroom with everyone and it was a hostel. We could share a dorm or have a private room that looked like it belongs to the dog with shredded curtains. When we asked to see a room we were told if we had gone to sandals we wouldn't be allowed to see a room. When I commented on the smell I was told the dog was born there it's his home. We were then told we'd be better off staying somewhere else due to the facilities we required. We left there feeling like we needed to be disinfected.
