Our room was spacious and clean, the view from the (shared) upstairs balcony is wonderful, and there's good wifi. We were very pleased with the bathroom and the water was nice and hot. Hostess speaks Georgian, Russian and German; no English. Breakfast is standard Georgian; not worth the additional 20 GEL per person, but good enough (and convenient as there aren't many restaurants in the immediate vicinity).

Superb location, very very cozy and comfortable service, we felt like being a part of a family with deep and interesting history. Very good breakfasts with breathtaking views of Telavi. And finally, their own wine cellar with delicious home made whites and reds.

Some common and room facilities appear to require un uplift.

Amazing view, peace and quiet. Room looks like in pictures. A very nice owner, showed us around the house and garden, told us about the wine production and the family. She helped in every matter. Tasty breakfasts, apart from bread, cheese, eggs, there were always muffins and fruit, and additionally, for example, pancakes. We were offered various types of wine, the tastiest we bought and drank on the balcony. A good khinkali restaurant nearby.

Beautiful views have their drawbacks - to get home from the center you have to go up a lot. For those who have a car, it's not a problem. The bus also runs but we did not use it.

Our room was really clean and cozy. View from a shared balcony to the Alazani Valley was gorgeous! Delicious breakfast.

However we’re coming to taste that famous kakhetian homemade wine and some local food. Therefore we wanted to find a hospitable family winery. Unfortunately after greeting us our hosts quickly vanished. We’re looking forward for delicious dinner but it was suggested to visit a restaurant nearby. There wasn’t any wine degustation organised for us until we’d asked twice. A bottle of homemade wine cost 25 lari. For that price we usually buy kakhetian wine in a boutique in Tbilisi. However a breakfast was good (cost 15 lari per person). May be it wasn’t an appropriate time (Easter holidays) or out of season. Generally we were quiet disappointed and left earlier.

Nice room with direct terrace access. David, the host speaks good English, very helpful. His family also kind people. Great view on the Caucasus, good small restaurant nearby.

Everything was perfect! The hosts were warm and welcoming. The guest house is really well decorated and the room has a nice, large balcony with a beautiful view of Telavi and the mountains. The breakfast was also delicious :)

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is quite big, with great views from the balcony and a very comfortable room. Shalva and Nino were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed the breakfasts each morning. Shalva also let us sample his homemade wine and took us on a wonderful full-day tour to a number of monasteries/wineries/places of interest ending in Signaghi for only 150 Gel. He spoke very good Spanish! A wonderful place that we hope to return to one day.

Everything was great. The house is up the hill but that's why the views were so good from the balcony.

Nino and Shalva are great hosts and were very kind. The room we stayed was very large and newly renovated. We only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed longer. The house is on the upper part of Telavi, overlooking the town, with nice views. The breakfast is very good, with fresh and homemade ingredients

Amazing view from the room and balcony. Extremely clean. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We added breakfast and were very happy that we did: great quality and generous portions. They make their own wine in Qvevri and chacha, which they offered us to try for free, unprompted — it was so good that we bought some too! Can't wait to return here again.

They are super kind family ! The Location is good 4-5 minutes to the center with car, The terrace has very beautiful veiw also they have beautiful yard with fire place .The indoor also is fabulous and beautiful ,There is a lot of old family pictures on the walls .The guest house has antique cellar with amazing things like Old carpet ,old phone,many bottles of wine,Wooden Barrels and many other things, Our spacious room and privet bathroom was extremely clean had towel ,shampoo,soap,toilet paper,slippers.The breakfast was hearty and huge with homemade cake and great khachapoori & delicious jam and we really enjoyed It.They have good homemade chacha and great wines and you can buy at reasonable prices,We realy missed Nino,Shalva and grandma Julia.if we comback to Telavi definitely we Will combacke to Omsi House again.

The place was very close to the center. Beautiful house with a back garden. Very clean rooms, all with terraces. When you wake up and look from the window, you will definitely come back in Telavi , in this amazing house. And, finally, the Host. Very intelligent, nice, attentive host. Their wine was the best - how can we forget the taste of a dry Saferavi? Highly recommended
