Le petit déjeuner : un café et un croissant dans un bar bondé et bruyant à 200m de la chambre. L'accueil inexistant puisque vous devez tout faire vous même. Le bruit de la rue dès que les fenêtres sont ouvertes. N'espérez pas utiliser la petite terrasse.

The owner is very responsive even before check-in despite a lack of face to face contact until check-out. She sent very clear instructions via whatsapp on how to access the room which is nice and clean though sparsely furnished. It's pleasantly different by being on the ground floor in a narrow courtyard setting. A request for early check-in was met and a late check-out voluntarily offered. The area is not very salubrious but make up for it by being within roughly equal walking distance to either beautiful Ortigia or the archaeological park. Caravaggio's painting of Santa Lucia is within 3 mins walk. Those driving can find free parking very easily.

Unfortunately the temporary curtain replacing the broken shower tray's doors was too short which led to water spilling onto the floor after each shower. But the owner said the cubicle is being changed and she would have provided more floor towels had I notified of this problem. It was strange that this problem was not anticipated when the curtain was hung though. The room was rather cold at night in January. Please note it is also windowless so natural light and ventilation are through the door which means a lack of privacy if the adjacent rooms are occupied. It's a shame the pavement to Ortigia is somewhat littered with dog mess.

The position was great, walking distance to the historical part of town. Free public parkings in front of our room's door. During our 4 nights staying we could find free place there always. Room was nice and clean, very good breakfast

- Location, was walking distance to the old city - pretty room and good facilities - public parking available easily close to the property - early check in if availability allows!

- communication was a bit difficult and did not meet anyone but then again we only stayed for one night so we self checked in and out.

Really good host, nice property, good location, great breakfast, easy to find a free parking spot near the property.

Super spacious room. Very clean. Welcoming host who supplied good information on trips and restaurants. Good choice of food at breakfast. Location was good for walking into ortigia. Nice little garden area.

A little noise from traffic during the day but fine at night.
