it is a beautiful Hacienda. Has really nice gardens. Their rooms were comfortable.
I think the property can improve their service to elderly. For instance, have grab bars nearby the toilets and in the showers. Perhaps also a grab bar close to the Jacuzzi. the access to the swimming pool could Also have in mind elderly and add a better set of steps. the hidromasaje could also have bars for people to hold on to. the staff could have a hand out with information ( addresses) about where to eat when the restaurant they have is not open. when welcoming they should let people know if the tours available. we learned about yours towards the end of the stay snd we could not get one we wanted.

All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We called the hotel to let them know that we were going to check in late and they were waiting for us.
Breakfast was delicious and the rooms and grounds were beautiful.

The complex its big and well kept. Charming colonial style. they have 52 rooms. We stayed at a villa next to the mini golf, beautiful bathroom, kitchen with microwave, sink, small fridge.
The pool is heated with solar panels and is so well isolated from the wind.
Exceptional service and amazing breakfast: pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit and juice, yogurt with granola, bread, local cheese, butter and marmalade.
You notice it has its years but it is beautiful a d really peaceful, just before entering Ibarra.
The drive in its a rough stoned street- but it is a public street so they can’t do anything about it. At night a bit tricky to drive to because of the usual fog in the region, but the guards open the door really fast as soon as we got there.

our room wasn’t clean when we arrived (8pm) and Booking didn’t specify that there is no restaurant or pool service on weekdays.

The buffet breakfast was quite good. despite the hacienda being old, it did have modern facilities including a renovated swimming pool, modern, refurbished bathrooms in the individual rooms, massage and spa facilities.
There’s a public road behind the hacienda, so if your room is adjacent to the wall, you hear music and loud trucks or motorcycles at all times of the day. this is the only slight complaint. But that is not a reason not to stay here, by any means.

It was a quiet and nice hacienda that was built in 1620. The service was good, as well as, the employees. The room has a king-size with a wonderful fireplace. It is a perfect place for those who need tranquility or likes to read a book.
The price. I stayed for one night with one dinner and ended up paying almost $200. If you would like to stay longer, you need to consider the price. After that, everything was fine and my wife and I enjoyed the place.
