Waidroka Bay is a small, secluded resort, with very friendly and capable staff, excellent food, and in a beautiful location. Very good for diving, surfing and kayaking offshore.

The staff were lovely
The crazy goat track leading to the resort, the outrageous price charged for dinner and washing, and the cost of the rooms

An incredibly authentic experience. The staff was very friendly, the managers care deeply about your stay and ensure that you are having a wonderful experience. The activities are fantastic. We went surfing, snorkeling, white water rafting, tubing... everything was perfectly organized by the hotel staff.

Lovely out-of-the-way spot. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent!
The road in was a bit rough, given our rental car did not have much clearance. No real beach to speak of but pool was nice.

Staff were amazing, couldn't fault any of the locals and how accommodating they were.
Food was also excellent with a good variety and choice.
Accommodation was clean and there were a good amount of small extra facilities, i.e. pool table, darts.
Snorkelling excursion was very expensive considering we had all our own equipment and there wasn't a guide.
Drinks were on the pricier side, even compared to the large resorts.
More diving availability would have been good. Typically only morning options which were booked out every day.

Beautiful location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. However, for what we paid, the rooms need more love and attention. The general facilities need some love and care e.g mouldy cushions round the pool area, broken and mould covered hammock. No yoga classes which were promoted. Massive shame as the hotel has got so much potential. Felt like all the focus was on the dive school.

Located in a very private spot, in the middle of the jungle with access to the ocean for day trips, surfing and diving, loved it! Super chilled spot, nice pool, and the food… omg… the food is amazing!!! Lorna and Andy will help you with anything you need and the staff is trained very well. The room is cleaned everyday. Six stars for service and food, I really can’t wait to go back.
Nothing really but it would be amazing it they had a beach hahahaha.

Awesome, what a great welcome and hospitality in our short stay, the managment was so kind and look after everything, they arranged what we want in our way without any additional charges.
FOOD - it was great and so well prepared the way we wanted to have our meals. The chef was so kind and food was so tasty.

The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. Andi is a true gentleman and helped make a fairly terrible experience just a little bit better.
Where to start. The facilities and room were definitely not as expected for the price of the rooms. Difficult to get through, via dirt roads. Didn't end up staying a night of our reservation.

the staff is very friendly.
the food is terrible. the prices for surfing and food were way too much money. Their website is very deceptive!!! This is NOT a "surf resort". This is a dive resort with some surfing. This is not the place to go if you only want to surf.
