Zeer aangenaam verblijf.

Zeer goed ontbijt. De kamer was zeer ruim, met een zeer mooi terras.

Er is geen restaurant meer in het hotel. Enkel kamer en ontbijt mogelijk.

Bien mais...

Bon emplacement pour les plages (surtout les plus belles plages de Guadeloupe). Une petite ville, Sainte Rose, pas loin avec tout ce qu'il faut.

Petit-déjeuner servi trop tard, 08h00, c'est tard pour la Guadeloupe, normalement, c'est 07h00 pour avoir du temps pour faire des trajets ou des activités (le soleil se lève à 05h30 et se couche vers 17h30-18h00). Certains départs de bateaux sont à 08h15... Problème à l'accueil, on nous demande notre heure d'arrivée, mais il n'y a personne pour nous accueillir, il faut téléphoner, puis attendre (un certain temps) que la personne vienne. Cela s'est reproduit systématiquement pour toutes les personnes qui arrivaient et avaient réservé. A part le matin, on ne voit personne de la journée à part les clients.

Relaxing, well equipped self catering house in beautiful gardens

Beautiful old plantation style house. Amazing breakfast and lovely staff.

The restaurant/bar was often not open for most of the day and the hotel felt unmanned. We would’ve like to have drinks at the bar in evening/afternoon but this was not available most of the time and the table football was locked up.

We enjoyed the calme and safety of the place. The bedroom was clean. We had local products for breakfast and it was very good.

It was a classy, small hotel; nicely appointed, atmospheric, and with fabulous food.

It is a lovely, historic building constructed of high-quality materials: wood, marble, etc. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The planter’s punch was refreshing, and so was the swimming pool. Dinner was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious, too.

The room had a view towards the sea, but it was also poolside, so we were subjected to the noise of other guests using the pool who perhaps were not as considerate as they could have been.

A little piece of paradise that can bee appreciated throug an once tolerance and patient.

the location in the middle of a parc. Breakfast and dinner in a very quiet ambience with an excellent and friendly service. Chef listing to these hosts . Chamber maid looking at our comfort. Large pool with sea water.

Need to rent a car if you wish to visit Basse Terre and Haute Terre of the Guadeloupe. To take a boat to discover Les Saintes and Marie Galante islands. Booking shoould explain to their potential guests(as well at the hotel runners) what's the maining of a customer with reduced mobility (basic expectations!)

an excellent start to our stay on Guadeloupe

not too big, lovely verandah for drinks, breakfast overlooking the gardens. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable, large bottle of water in the fridge

Exceptional

Amazing property, great pool. Very calm, very clean, super relaxing. Cocktails were extremely good, very good quality dinner as well. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Exceptional, romantic, gardens, pool, lot of space, great reastaurant.

This is a small butique hotel in an old country residence used to belong to plantation owners. Very romantic, 1940's architecture in French colonial style, beautiful gardens and huge back yard with own streams and fish ponds. And then there is the restaurant, which in itself is enough reason to come - great chef, serious food.

Disappointing

Hotel has charme and potential but staff hospitality levels let it down

Arrival at the hotel meant waiting 45 min before anybody showed up (place was deserted). And when someone finally came, we were met with sheer unfriendliness that it kind of ruined our 1 night stay

Habitation du Comté could be a beautiful property but need a serious renovation. We arrived at night on the 31st asked to get some help with the luggage as our room was on the first floor, the answer was that all the staff worked at the restaurant at that time.... The room was very dirty with forgotten spider nets mold and dust everywhere. We had dinner at the restaurant for the 31st Of January, the food was very low quality, we found multiples fish scales and bones on a “fish filet” dish. We payed 120 euros per person for really bad food. The next morning while coming down for breakfast we were asked very rudely to pay for dinner as if we wouldn’t....... We left the place a night before we were supposed to to à much better place..... Stay away!
