What a special stay! The views were just amazing and the staff warm and friendly. My son caught lots of Tiger Fish and he can’t wait to come back.

Everything was exceptional , 5 star service all round Food was delicious. Will definitely be doing this again 😀

The crew was excellent! They went over and beyond to help make our cruise memorable! Thanks for the cake on my birthday, that was a lovely touch. My dietary restrictions were accommodated. Excellent communication from the reservations team on the itenary and what to expect before departure.

Its a fantastic houseboat! it is officially the most destressing, relaxing thing we have ever done. Alan the Captain, Senzo and Bheki were excellent hosts! wiseman kept us fed and so well! :) They were endlessly patient with baiting rods and the kids. Definitely going to do this again!

Teeny bit smelly in the toilet /shower area. Although it was kept clean. The waste tanks probably. Too many ants. But again, everything was kept clean!! I can easily brave these minor things for the glorious sunsets, the kindest crew and great overall experience!

The fishing

Staff are very friendly helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much effort. Always available but not intrusive. Food was of a good standard. Well catered. I liked that we got to relax as a family have new experiences in a great environment surrounded by nature and wild life. Captain Allan and his staff ensured we saw Elephants hippo Rhino crocodile buck and a lot of bird life. Not being a fishermen we didn't expect to fish but we tried our and with the guidance and assistance of the skilled staff of Shayamanzi we had our first Tiger fishing experience. Everyone caught a fish or 2 over the weekend. I didn't feel seasick once and I am generally very sensitive to motion sickness

The aircon that had to go off at 10pm made it uncomfortable to sleep at night. Even though there was a fan. An alternate power source like a solar charging inverter system would work very well to keep guests comfortable during these hours. There is sufficient space on the boat roof for solar panels and being Africa plenty sun most of the year. Mosquito gauze Velcro covers for the room windows to allow the natural breeze but keep the bugs mosquitos and other wild life would be an enhancement Also the Jacuzzi could be run from the inverter when it was stationary. The exhaust fumes at the back of the boat make for a smelly Jacuzzi experience. Rubber coaster to catch up the condensation from drinks and not leave wet puddles on the tables would be nice.

The crew were excellent so was the food, even if there was toooo much of it. Everyone was friendly it was just a good break.

Not a lot. A privacy curtain for the entrance to the toilet would be good, and tea/coffee in the room, but maybe that's not practical.
