I liked that it was on the lake.
The bathrooms we way too small.
There was a earwick in the one bed.
6.0
Nice location and friendly, accommodating staff
lots of spiderwebs with bugs in them in most corners; the bed frame was broken making the bed visually lopsided

Right on the water!
Really nothing just maybe a little update to the room.

The good points are, The manager was excellent! She made our trip better and was quick to help. The beds were comfortable.
The bad points are, we had a half a roll of TP when we got there and didn’t realize there wasn’t an extra roll. I went to the office in the morning when we ran out and there was no one there. We had to get a roll from the couple in the room below us. The manager heard of this and when we got back from the island there weee 2 rolls waiting. Next, there was no place to hang my clothes. I had to hang them on the shower bar. Lastly, the bath could have been a lot cleaner. All in all, our stay was good. We’ve learned to pretty much deal with things and not let them ruin our good times.

room was small. Bed filled it

Location was good. On the edge of the hotel district, but a short drive into town.
Staff was initially gruff . We arrived early to find office locked and a note on door with a number to call for assistance. When we called, manager arrived and was put out, because she thought our call constituted an emergency. She was not welcoming, but became more accommodating as we spoke.
Room was no frills ( no ice machines, snack machines or soft drink dispensers that we could find on the property). Bed was not particularly comfortable. Room was near the fire pit and smelled of campfire smoke most of the night. It was not what you might expect when paying top dollar on a holiday weekend.
Also, driveway is configured so that our high clearance vehicle scraped the blacktop whenever we entered or exited the property.

nothing
old, in disrepair, horrible small dark room, outside tacky and needed a lot of work.

Nice little motel in nice location of town and on the lake. Staff kind and helpful with any needs. Will return when we come upstate again.
4.0
The location. Property is right on the water. Beds were comfortable.
Room was dirty. We expected rustic…we didn’t expect dirty. Dirt and hair balls on the bathroom floor. Ceiling fan over the bed was white, so the 1/2” of dust clinging to it was more than obvious. Sticky pop rings on the nightstand, sand all over the floor…we immediately asked for a broom.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The inn could use some updating, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Rooms were outdated.

it’s beachfront! fire pit and plenty of seating and swimming
bathrooms are a tad small, and would like a dan or vent

The staff was great, relaxed atmosphere, campfire, DOG FRIENDLY!
It was just a wonderful place to wake up in the morning. Not commercialized just like being at a friend's with lots of privacy. We will be back.
The bathroom door hit the toilet lol.
The small coffee pot.
No place to hang clothes.

This is a classic up north rustic motel. Knotty pine paneling on the walls, funky wiring from the 50's and very quirky. If you're looking for modern, this isn't it, but it made up for it with charm. That said, beautiful sunrises and views. The ground level room and the walk in shower was good for my disabled partner, although the step up into our room would be difficult for someone less mobile. Check out Java Joes just down the road for breakfast, and the Gang Plank for dinner and drinks. If you have a PHEV or EV, there is a free level 2 charger next door at the Baymont.
The room could have used some updating. Not all the power plugs worked, and the small refrigerator froze our leftovers. Windows don't open.

Being next to the water.
The room was not worth what I paid for it, the bed was horrible and sunk it the middle. The pillows were very little, they didn't have much of a cable selection and the room wasn't dirty but it was dingy.
