From the hall, straight through a set of double oak doors into the: Living - Dining Room Area: The L-shaped, open-plan living-dining room is a bright and welcoming triple-aspect room. The living room area is furnished with cosy armchairs, a large sofa and love seat for cuddling up in front of the fabulous wood burner. Guests can watch the Smart TV/DVD or listen to music on the Bluetooth speaker. Solid oak side tables and drawer units enhance the welcoming and luxurious feel of the living area, while French windows open out to the patio courtyard where guests can enjoy the outside seating in a quiet setting. The Dining Area is home to a large oak dining table with soft leather seating for seven people. The bookcase has a wide selection of books, guides and leaflets on local attractions and places of interest, while a leather chest houses a wide collection of games. Soft wall and tabletop lighting provide an inviting setting for an evening meal, while breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed with light streaming through from the window overlooking the courtyard. The Kitchen: The very well-equipped contemporary kitchen, with polished tiled floor and coordinating splash-back tiling, includes an electric oven and ceramic hob with extractor fan, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, four-slice toaster and Nespresso coffee maker with a starter pack of capsules. This was our second girls weekend at Teagles Cottage. We loved it so much last year that we decided to go to back... it didn't disappoint.
It is both beautifully decorated and spacious, it has really lovely bedrooms and a cosy living space. It is super clean and well looked after.
The cottage is within easy reach of some great pubs, shops and cafes and Stow itself is a great place to visit.
We cannot recommend this cottage enough.

We stayed at Teagles for a 60th birthday celebration with family. The cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. It was very comfortable, well equipped and cosy. The location was perfect, although it is in a quiet location in the centre of Stow so very convenient for shops, restaurants and cafes, it is also great for driving out to see the beautiful countryside, hiking and visiting other Cotswolds towns and villages. A perfect family weekend.

We had a lovely time staying at Teagles Cottage! Our son has autism and Lindsay was so very helpful in making everything seamless, which helped him settle quickly. You'll want for nothing as all the essentials and more are provided for. The location is central to Stow and parking really handy. We were a party of four adults and one child, loads of space for us all in such a homely cottage. Thank you again for an amazing time!

We all enjoyed our week stay at Teagles cottage. The cottage location was a superb base to visit some of the attractions on our list.Only one small negative comment we had from our son and his fiancée that the back bedroom lacked black out curtains leaving the room very bright in early morning .

Our stay at Teagles Cottage was the highlight of our trip the UK. The location of the cottage is central in Stow-on-the-Wold. We loved the ability to easily walk to different restaurants, pubs and coffee shops every day. We could easily take beautiful drives through the Cotswolds and visit towns and sites nearby.
We had another family with us, 2 infants, 1 4 year old and 4 adults in total and we were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make home cooked meals, and all of the rooms were cozy and comfortable. Our 4 year old wanted to stay there forever.
The night before check out, our rental car broke down, and the host, Lindsay, was incredibly helpful in helping us find a solution to get to our next destination, and was flexible with our check out to make sure we weren't out on the street. We can't thank her enough. If you are thinking about staying in the Cotswolds, do not hesitate to rent this cottage. Cheers.

We wanted a location within walking distance of a village, shops, pubs - not rural. We also wanted convenient access to other areas of the Cotswolds. Our family has visited in this part of England many times and we were interested in exploring new things. The Farm shops were of particular interest. We just enjoy the scenery, the pace, the history and the natural beauty. Teagues cottage was ideally situated. It was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The entire stay -from booking to arriving to departure - was extremely effortless. We truly hated to leave.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Teagles Cottage in Stow-on the Wold at the weekend. With 4 bedrooms (2 x king, 1 x twin and a single), 2 bathrooms and separate toilet downstairs there was ample of room for 6 of us to sleep. The lounge area was spacious and the kitchen had every utensil you could wish for! The property was spotless throughout and created a home from home environment. Teagles Cottage is literally on the doorstep of the main village where enjoyed visiting a couple of the local pubs and enjoyed a lovely meal at the local Indian restaurant. We all highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed ☺

Feels like home
Loved the cottage decor and amenities and location. There wasn’t any shampoo so need to bring your own. It felt like a homestay as we had most things we needed to be able to live and cook if we wanted to as well as a nice car park space which is hard to find around touristy places. As we had elderly accompanying us, just suggest some Bath handles/rails would help them to navigate the shower better. Also another railing on the stairs could help them climb the steps better. Overall we all enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely staycation.

Lovely, warm and comfortable cottage in central location.
We were all impressed by this lovely cottage. The location was excellent for the town, walks and to go out sightseeing.
Linsay was very attentive and there if we needed her, however everything was perfect.
The cottage was lovely and warm on arrival, and the welcome pack was thoughtful and generous.
I can not fault this cottage, I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the Cotswolds.

Wonderful stay in Feb
We had a great 2 day stay at Teagles Cottage- as a small family get a way to enjoy the Cotswold. The cottage was so perfect and had everything we needed, and the location was impeccable- right next door to the Porch House, in the center of the lovely town of Stow in the Wold. The owners were wonderful and communicated with us the whole time and left us a nice welcome treat. Would highly recommend.

Short break in the Cotswolds
This was our second break in Teagles.
It has retained its high standards.
The location of the cottage is fabulous.
The cottage is warm and cosy. All aspects were great. Welcome pack was a nice touch.
Parking was a bit tight… but we did have a VW van.. and managed it. The option of long stay free parking at Tesco was an option we had available to us. But didn’t need it.
We even used our OAP free bus passes to travel around by bus… regular buses and lots of places to visit.

Another great stay
This was our second stay at Teagles cottage. The main reason we came back was we knew it was super clean and was in a great location. Again it did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with great local restaurants this is the place. Loved the welcome wine and cake too. The cottage has everything you will need, it’s very well equipped

Great cottage, home away from home
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, the location was perfect. The place had all the amenities required and was nice and clean. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and it was plenty big enough for a weeks stay.

Wonderful Home from Home in Stow on The Wold
We’ve just had the most amazing time in Stow and LOVED staying at Teagles Cottage for the second time. The house is so comfortable and genuinely feels like a proper home from home with everything you need to keep the whole family happy. Lindsay our host was so lovely and extremely helpful in every way. We will definitely be returning again soon.

A simply delightful cottage in the heart of Stow with parking.
Stayed here with my wife and two adult children to escape from the nightmare of Covid for a while! We absolutely loved Teagles Cottage; It’s located right in the heart of Stow and is just over the road from a wonderful pub (Porch House) and countless excellent restaurants . The lovely owner, Lindsay, has fitted out the house beautifully and it really feels like a luxury home from home. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and doesn’t feel like your average rental property. We all feel so refreshed after staying here and will definitely be returning. Thank you Lindsay.

Excellent bolt hole
Tucked away down a side lane just off the high street in Stow Teagles Cottage had all that we needed for two very relaxing weeks
The cottage was spotless and very well equipped which meant that we were more adventurous with our stay in catering than we expected
Real log fire in the living room with comfortable sofas and chairs opens up onto a small patio
Bedrooms upstairs cleverly arranged with large dorma windows
Bolthole retreats were exceptionally helpful with the booking and organising everything
Best staycation for ages!!

We stay here annually in March.
We have stayed in this house for the last seven years. It is located right in the middle of the town, walking distance to the many shops, pubs and restaurants, no driving involved. The house is exceptionally clean with all the mod cons and nice bedrooms.
It's quite spacious, with good WIFI reception and parking at the rear. We enjoy coming back each year, the town is beautiful and the house never disappoint's.

6 day break with friends
Very comfortable cottage. Lots of comfy seating.. which was great. Log burner available for use.
Welcome pack was a lovely gesture.
Two baths and three toilets.
Beds felt quite soft at first but were extremely comfy so no issues with bad back!!
All mod cons as advertised.
The owner was very caring and friendly. She checked we were ok and recommended places to visit.
Parking is a little tight for a larger car.
Train stations near by. Once you are in Stow you could easily not want to move.
This next comment is not a big criticism but before the Summer season perhaps some dusting of skirting boards and down the sides of the single beds would make it perfect. BUT that’s so minor really to mention as everything else was truly appreciated.

Teagles Cottage mini break
Stayed for 2 nights in Teagles Cottage with some old school friends for a get-together. The property was perfect - well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable and situated in the centre of Stow so everything walkable. The hosts were charming and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

Great stay at Teagles Cottage
We have just returned from a lovely break at Teagles Cottage ideally situated in centre of Stow.
Cottage is very comfortable on the whole - but woodburning stove does not work properly so beware of fumes
There is also far too many glasses and crockery in the kitchen, making it feel very cramped - I would guess that there is over 100 drinking glasses there which would be great it you were planning a party but excessive for a max 7 guests
Bedrooms were lovely but floorboards are very creaky and you can hear traffic at night - particularly large lorries that pass through Stow at about 3-4am.
