The rooms seemed to have been recently renovated. Motels usually don't have a lot of amenities, but we didn't need them and weren't looking for any. We had 4 rooms for the 4 of us. We sat out on the supplied porch chairs and chatted for an hour in the morning. It was very nice and located a short drive or walk from town.
no complaints.

Very convenient location, and the rooms were very clean!
When we came in, it was really cold, so we turned up the Thermostat to 70. When we came back in, it was REALLY hot. Like 80+ degrees. We couldn’t really get it to cool down after that even after turning it back down to 60.

It was affordable (for the area) and we were pleasantly surprised at how well kept up this quaint older motel was. It was cold and windy and there was a bit of a draft coming through the door frame but I was still pretty comfy. Super easy to access Acadia Park and close to the downtown area where we ate our breakfasts and shopped. We had an assigned parking spot right in front of our door too. We could see a cruise ship in port from our front porch the second morning - maybe Fiona hitting Nova Scotia diverted the ship or is this a stop for the cruise line?
The draft wasn't probably a good thing but we had heat and were comfy. I like it cool when I sleep :) I understand the motel closes for the season by the end of October.

Good location. Very friendly staff. Easy to find from highways. Room was clean. Assigned parking was very helpful.
The steps up into the room from the parking lot are steep and treacherous-very uneven with no railings.

Price was right. Room was perfect. Why would you pay $500 per night when you can pay $220 per night Owner was so nice.
Nothing. A perfect three days

Very Quiet. Bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. Office told us to get reservations for Cadillac Highway which was helpful.
No breakfast. Had to drive into town where parking was a challenge.

The room/bed is spacious. The staff worked late till 10PM and provided extra guidance for visiting Acadia. It is the first time that I actually will miss the motel.
It can be closer, but it is walking distance for sure.

Clean room and facilities. Great location close to both Acadia, entrance to Cadillac Mountain, and very close to the downtown Bar Harbor area. Staff was great and friendly!
The bed was pretty hard, but the room was clean and nice.

we had the best room, at the end with a great view of Frenchmen’s Bay. The room was a good size and had front and back doors with the balcony so we could let the sea breeze in. The room was spotless, and our housekeeper, Princess, did a fabulous job taking care of us. The location was excellent with easy access to the carriage roads in Acadia and a short walk or bike ride into town.
only one thing- needs a larger sign, maybe at the driveway or roadway, to point to the office. since there are signs at the driveway of each building it’s hard to tell which one has the office to check in. other than that the place is perfect.
