The villa was well located. We could walk to Terra Nostra and Poca Dona Beija(5 min). The villa was spacious with room for a family. The view out back was nice with ample outdoor space and covered area to hang clothing. Maria was accommodating of an early check in and was in touch to see if we needed anything. There were two minisplits for a/c.There was cheese, milk, bread and coffee pods set out for us upon arrival. Parking was on street and we were able to park within a 5 min walk most times. It is a sweet and safe neighborhood.
While this would be a nice situation for a family with kids, the furniture was not comfortable for us. We found the villa quite dark as it is long and narrow without windows on one side. The bathroom had a mildew smell. The kitchen was usable but there was a grab bag of utensils, many not usable. It would have been great to have a toaster. Overall, a cute villa that could be great with some TLC. We recognize being a bit older made this less than ideal for us.

Location. Easy check in. Spacious. Cozy. Beautiful outdoor area.
Had a slight unpleasant smell. Not too bad though. A little hard to find using Google maps.

Nice accomodation in perfect location. Only a few meters from Terra Nostra Park. Supermarkets, bakeries and the lake in walking distance. We found everything we needed, dining inside and outside possible. Parking after the opening hours of terra nostra almost right in front of the house, during the day also within the same road or the next one. Easy check-in and -out with code number.

There were gifts! We got a liter of milk, two regional 'bolo de levedo' (cake/bread), tea and coffee capsules, and a bottle of water. It was really a plus, we needed the milk for breakfast and the water for the day. We bought some meat locally and made sandwiches with the levedo bread for lunch. The location of the house is really spot on: it is in walking distance of a very nice grocery shop, in walking distance from both Terra Nostra park and the hot pools of Dona Beija (yes, we walked from and to both already in swimwear). It felt really central to everything. Plus the back area (backward) has a small roof were to leave clothes drying which is a nice touch given the fuzzy weather. It is also very close to the natural surfer caves/hotspots but still far away enough so that you do not need to live with the smell of it every day.
My white clothes got yellowish after being left to dry outside.. Maybe it was the sulfur/metals the all the hot springs in the area.. be careful about it.

Great location. We stayed for 4 nights and walked everywhere. Maria was quick to respond to any questions. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen. We picked up groceries in PD and cooked most of our meals. Other family members rented the old church house next door, and it worked out great.
The front door can not be left unlocked, although this seems common on the island. The keypad is great though, so you don’t get locked out. Extra towels for the hot springs would be great.

The check in and chek out times were very flexible and we could enter the house before the official check in time and leave later than the official check out time. The owners left some local producst for us in the house.
The beds on the first floor could be more confortable.

big, clean, house, where we felt like at home, with a huge garden with BBG place. Great location close to everywhere and you can park your car for free on the street.I can 100 % recomend to stay there!
Have nothing to say there.
