Nestled in Heredia Province, this lovely bed and breakfast for R 405 per night is a great option for your next trip. A short distance from restaurants, shopping centers, supermarkets banks, convenience stores, free zones, national convention center and public transport to different areas of the country. The neighborhood, is residential has green areas. In front of the house there is a small park. The property does not have its own parking. The house: has common areas Spacious room with 42 inch television screen, cable and Netflix. A garden with tables, chairs, benches and rocking chairs to rest, ideal for breakfast or coffee in the afternoon. The kitchen is very well equipped, Washing area The room: Good space, single bed, desk space. If you wish you can place a small refrigerator inside the room, but if you prefer to avoid the noise you can use perfectly the refrigerator in the kitchen. The room is configured in this application for 1 person, will be charged US $ 8. 00 additional cash for each additional person, per night. The bed is individual if it was for 2 people can be changed for a double or there are mattresses available if necessary. The room is located on the second level and overlooks the garden. Additional services: Free weekly laundry service. Wi-Fi throughout the house. Additional airport transportation $ 10 per way OR $ 20 full service (cash) Breakfast is included in the price of the room. We offer continental breakfast or breakfast to the house you choose (6 AM to 9AM)

Amazing Stay (as Solo Female Traveller)

Carlos went above and beyond expectations in order to ensure that I felt safe, welcome, and comfortable. He came to meet me at the airport and waited for a full hour while I obtained my luggage. He told me how to get around his neighbourhood (where I felt very safe), which meant that I explored in ways I wouldn't have otherwise. Then when I was leaving his place, he helped me get to my Uber with my luggage. As a female travelling solo for the first time, these things made a big difference in helping me feel safe and comfortable during my first day in Costa Rica. Carlos was kind and patient. His dog Rocky (aka Macho) constantly made me smile with his friendliness. His friend, Isaac, helped with some translation when I arrived and was also very friendly. The room and house was very clean and tidy. The bedroom even had a spot off the ground the place my luggage. The bedroom was upstairs and there was a little table and chair just outside the room which looked like a nice spot to enjoy a snack or beverage. I basically had the entire upstairs to myself, which meant that it was very quiet - even during the day when Carlos and Macho were hanging out downstairs. I would have loved to stay longer and if I am ever back in San Jose I hope I can stay here again! Muchas gracias, Carlos and Isaac!! Con mucho gusto! Pura vida!!

The owner is a great guy , but this was the first time I stayed at personal residence and didn’t care for it . That’s just me though and was a bit afraid that his dog might bite me , since he growled at me a couple times. I can’t complain too much though , the price was right for my overnight stay to catch a plane.

Great reception and place

Great reception and place

I was greeted by Carlos who proved to be very helpful and kind. His house is magnificent, clean and he also has an amazing beautiful dog. I was in transit only one night for the SJO airport. I definitely recommend this place, there are many restaurants and bars around, a safe area and Carlos is great to talk to and converse with. Check it out!

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night at Carlos' place and wished we could have stayed longer there, but we had to catch our flight the next day. The location of the house is super close to the airport (10-15min). The house was very clean and we had a big, comfy bed in our room. They have a pretty garden and it just felt like home to us. Carlos was a super host, very helpful and even made us breakfast. It was a lovely stay for us and we would definitely come again the next time we are in Costa Rica.
