About this condo rental
Beautiful 98 sq.m 2 bedroom apartment ideally situated in the heart of Alvor. The apartment enjoys wonderful views over the estuary, surrounding countryside and mountains in the distance. Decorated and furnished to the highest standards the apartment consists of 2 air conditioned / heated double bedrooms with balconies and 2 modern, fully tiled bathrooms consisting of separate shower and bath The large air conditioned / heated open plan lounge and dining area provides free fast fibre optic wi-fi, plenty of space to relax and watch satellite TV (including Sky and BT Sports), listen to music on the i-pod docking station or alternatively take advantage of the large upstairs private terrace to enjoy stunning views over Alvor whilst cooking on the purpose built brick BBQ. The modern kitchen consists of fridge freezer, electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 2 reserved underground parking spaces with a huge store room, lift and video entry system. Our apartment has the Alojamento local (rental licence) The new Pingo Doce supermarket is well stocked and is only 2 minute walk away. For long term winter lets we are happy to discuss favourable rental rates. A cot is available on request. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the information given to clients is correct, there may be occasions when the facilities provided or the features described may have to be withdrawn. In the event of the failure of appliances / equipment associated with the apartment, we shall endeavour to get them repaired or replaced as soon as possible. We hold no responsibility for any of the aforementioned events occurring.

I would highly recommend this property for Families. It is maintained to the highest of standards by Mandy & Mark who are always on hand to answer any questions. The accommodation provided a modern and spacious base for our family of 6 with all the home essentials needed. It’s 1 minute walk to the centre of Alvor and 2 mins walk to a large supermarket. It’s a 10 minute enjoyable walk to the beach. The pool area is well kept with a lovely green area for smaller children to play. We have already booked to return next year.

This is an amazing apartment. It is superbly appointed with all amenities and facilities in “show-house” condition. It has two balconies, one for the morning sun, one for the afternoon and a roof terrace with bar-b-que, for sun at all times. The location is excellent, quiet, on the edge of the village centre within easy walking distance of all Alvor has to offer. Mandy and Mark were the perfect hosts, caring, efficient but unobtrusive and committed to making our stay the very best possible.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location, everything we needed was in the apartment & Mandy & Mark were there to meet us & show us round when we arrived. Both lovely people & keep the place spotless themselves. The welcome pack was a lovely touch & the cake was delicious. We would rate our stay 5/5 & would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this property and would highly reccomend it to anyone wishing to visit Alvor. From the booking process to the end of our stay, we would like to say that our hosts have been exceptional in terms of communication and a pleasure to deal with. Wow Property
Super experience, super hosts. The apartment was absolutely spotless, bright, airy, modern, with lovely views and fabulous outside space. It was so well appointed with lots of spotlessly clean glasses, plates, cutlery etc. The beds were super comfortable with lovely fresh, good quality bed linen. The location is wonderful. Thank you Mandy and Mark - 100% the best apartment we have ever stayed in.

The apartment was spotless and attention to detail was perfect.
The roof terrace with loungers and BBQ were used loads.

Spent a week in this lovely apartment. Great location with just a short walk to a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. A well equiped apartment with pretty much everything you could need. Great views across the estuary that can be enjoyed from a pleasant balcony off the Lounge and also from the extensive roof terrace, which was well equipped with four sun loungers plus table and chairs for dining . We certainly made good use of the rooftop BBQ. The owners were as exceptional as the apartment, thank you for a great stay Mandy and Mark we will be back :)

wonderful stay
Mandy and Mark were the best hosts we have encountered while staying in vacation rentals! They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The apartment was absolutely perfect for our month long stay. We loved the modern décor, the well stocked kitchen, the different options for outdoor spaces and the location with its proximity to town, the beach and grocery store.
It was nice to have our rental car in a reserved, secure space in the underground garage.
We are looking forward to visiting in the future.

Absolutely perfect!
This the second time we have stayed in this apartment and cannot fault it in any way. Everything is immaculate and Mandy and Mark are the perfect hosts. The views, proximity to the supermarket and the short distance to the restaurants make it the perfect place to stay in Alvor. We will be back.

The village of Alvor has been to our liking for many years, especially because it is not yet too "tourist". The beaches are very close and there is a great offer in terms of restoration; ideal conditions for sunbathing and resting.Your apartment is close to everything and has, of course, excellent conditions for the enjoyment of vacations. Ample space, very well decorated and organized, with everything that is necessary for a few days of vacation with quality.Regards and all the best,António Tomás

Perfectly situated modern apartment
The apartment was everything expected and more. In addition to a well equipped modern apartment, it was perfectly situated just stones throw away from the town centre and with the added bonus of its' own private roof terrace. This was just prefect for celebrating the New Year and watching the fireworks along the coast.

This is the third time I have stayed at an apartment in the SolRio development. These are fantastic places to stay. There is a supermarket across the road - though behind another block so not visible - and so many good restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Take my advice and rent a top floor apartment with the roof terrace (as this property has) and you will not regret it: a sun trap with complete privacy. We stayed over Christmas 2019 and were able to sunbathe 5 out of 7 days - this was Christmas week! This apartment has everything including excellent WiFi and UK TV including Sky Sports and BT Sport (nice to have in the winter though I would spend more evenings out late in the summer months).
With my wife, I have been to Alvor 5 times in the last 4 years and on 3 occasions we have stayed in a SolRio apartment and would say 5/5/ for both quality and location. Don't hesitate to book.

Best Holiday Ever
This was, in my husbands opinion, the best, and most relaxing holiday we have ever had, and we have been taking holidays abroad for 30 years. Our 2 grown-up children came with us this year, as I was celebrating my 50th birthday whilst out there, and they thoroughly enjoyed it too.
The apartment was immaculate, with everything we could've possibly needed at hand. Neil and Helen were very welcoming and helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. The welcome pack in the apartment was a very nice surprise. The apartment is just a few minutes away from the bars and resturaunts but it was incredibly peaceful. The rooftop terrace was AMAZING, as are the views.
Thank you Mark and Mandy for making our holiday so memorable and thank you for being so helpful when booking this lovely holiday. I'm sure we will be returning soon.

Wonderful large and modern apartment with a spectacular view. The despription and pictures are corresponding completely to the reality.
From booking to hand-over of keys the support of the owner was very friendly and professional. Finally the refund of the caution happened in a few days.

This was our first time to Alvor having always stayed central algarve and we were not disappointed. This accommodation is everything it Claims to be and more. Everything right down to the cutlery is the best of quality with its very central location being the icing on the cake. It was also a lovely touch to have welcoming wine on arrival!! Much appreciated. I'm only sorry we can't return next year due to other plans, but we are now booked for 2018 and cannot wait. Thankyou Mandy for everything.

Lovely holiday apartment
This is a fabulous apartment, everything we could possibly want was provided and the rooftop terrace was the icing on the cake. Lovely views and a few minutes walk to the "hub" of restaurants, bars and the beach.

The weather was quite mixed whilst we were there but we still managed to have a couple of BBQs on the spacious roof terrace and even when it rained it was warm enough to sit out on the covered balcony with the views of the estuary. Mandy and Mark have thought of everything down to umbrellas and DVDs/ books (which we only discovered towards the end of the holiday). Although this was our first visit to Solrio it wont be our last. Thanks Mandy and Mark for everything.
