Gorgeous 85 year old cottage, recently converted from an Apple coolroom into its current reincarnation of charming and rustic style accommodation. A battleaxe block with cottage in the forefront and 2 acres of former grazing land, adjoining Vineyard and Greek Orthodox church. Ideal getaway for a couple or bring the children or friends for an fabulous stay exploring close by wineries and their associated restaurants, walking distance to many and only a one - 5 minute drive to others, Polperro, Port Phillip Estate, Red Hill Estate, Paringa, Montalto, Ten Minutes by Tractor and newcomer, Point Leo Estate, just to mention a few. Walking distance to fresh local produce at Red Hill Cellar and Pantry, boutique shopping and both Westernport and Port Phillip Bays only a five minute drive to either, make this a truly unique place to stay. Step back in time and enjoy modern and original features, it may be small, but its appeal overrides. Please Note: This property does not have TV or Wifi, we would like to ensure our guests really relax, the old fashioned way, in peace.

Nash's was perfect accommodation for a wedding just over the road. Walking distance to the venue but off the main road. A charming cottage with a lovely vista. Host was very easy to communicate with and cottage was well appointed.

We loved our stay in Red Hill, in particular evenings outside with the fire pit. The accommodation was exactly what we were after and the location was perfect - a cellar door across the road, Red Gum BBQ next door and a 10 minute walk for our morning coffee or supplies in Red Hill.

This spot is just stunning. Waking up every morning and looking out the window was just magical.
We loved our stay here and the house was perfect. We also enjoyed the lovely fire on the cold winter nights.

Nash's Retreat is exactly that - a retreat from the hustle and bustle and provides an opportunity to switch off and relax. Very clean and comfortable with excellent amenities and close to Red Hill village. We loved the fire pit and outlook over the vines. Janet is lovely and very responsive. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again :)

This is such a wonderful location with really peaceful surroundings.
It was so close to our wedding venue plus many other fantastic places.
The property is just lovely inside, it has everything you need and communication with Janet was fantastic. Highly recommended and would love to stay here again.

Great getaway
We had a lovely getaway at Nash’s Lane. The accommodation was great with nice touches- a good selection of games, a coffee machine, bean bags.

Fabulous!
This property is perfectly located in the heart of red hill with a beautiful winery just over the road. Really well equipped, extremely comfortable beds and very restful! Would highly recommend! Janet was an excellent host and really great to deal with, offering lots of advise on where to go in the area. Definitely worth a visit :)

My mum and I stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding. The cottage is really cute and set on a lovely open property. The weather wasn't the warmest however when the sun came out we were able to sit outside and enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again however I would bring my computer as there is no tv. Thanks for a great stay :)

Cosy Cottage Stay
Our week at Nash's Retreat at Red Hill was amazing.
This cosy cottage is packed with comforts for a great stay.
Very comfortable and perfectly presented.
The location is perfect for restaurants and winery visits.

Very welcoming in many ways
We loved Nash's Retreat! It's a lovely renovation, clean, comfortable and cosy, and we were really impressed with how well equipped it was, for both cooking and relaxing. There were so many little added extras provided in the kitchen and bathroom, it was nicer than being at home! Added bonus: rabbits glimpsed in the garden! The weather was a bit patchy during our stay but we were able to spend an hour in the garden in the sun. Indoors was lovely and warm, Janet is great at communication and providing local tips, we had a great stay.

An amazing little oasis an hour drive from Melbourne. Surrounded by world-class wineries, walking distance from amazing cafes and restaurants, and an abundance of activities (inc spas) for anytime of the year! Thanks for making our stay so welcoming and wonderful.

Terrific location, terrific value
This is a gem of a place in Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula an hour's drive south of the city. It's also Melbourne's summer playground so be prepared for lots of people and traffic jams in the area's bigger centres. Nash's Retreat is away from the hustle and bustle but close to roads too if you want to explore. The cottage is in a bucolic setting, quiet and private. It's beautifully appointed (an interior decorator had a hand in it I bet) with two large bedrooms, a living area and a modern kitchen with gas stove and oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. And speaking of the kitchen, it comes equipped with every device you can think of including lots of plates, glassware and cutlery, an amenity many rentals skimp on. The cottage is not air conditioned but the weather was perfect during our stay so we didn't miss it. Nevertheless there are plenty of heaters and fans about the place so no need to worry. Definitely five stars.

Great central location for exploring the Red Hill and Mornington Wine Region and other activities and Events.Great 2Br Cabin for 4 adults, just off the beaten track.
All facilities required in a great, setting backing onto to vines and open field.

Really nice place to stay in the heart of Red Hill. Close to restaurants and cafes, highly recommend
The property was very kid friendly with plenty of room for them to play. Cottage was a small, clean and well maintained little place. The challenge was no TV have the family the chance to improvise with outdoor activities and board games at night. Was close to restaurants, cafes and beaches which was great. Would highly recommend it.

Oh this property is INCREDIBLE
We had such an amazing time here, a beautiful country property for the ideal relaxing escape. Everything you need is in this tiny cottage, not to mention the tranquility and ambience.
We’ll definitely be making this little retreat our home away from home.
