El poble on està ubicat. L’esmorzar a la cafeteria es agradable.

La poca atenció del amfintrions, deuen haver canviat, ens va donar les claus l’Etienne. Vam esperar força estona i per tornar-les no contestaven al telèfon i vam haver de deixar-les a la cafeteria, havent-ho de proposar nosaltres a través d’un whatsapp. La poca il.luminació de l’habitació i a fora a la nit no es veu res a l’hora de posar la clau. Ofereixen wiffi i no n’hi ha, però tampoc hi ha cobertura dins, s’ha de sortir fora per rebre senyal. Va ser un gran inconvenient per motius de feina i familiars, necessitàvem connexió. No hi ha ni terrassa ni mobles de terrassa. És el carrer, que consideren la terrassa, i per cert totes les cases del costat estan abandonades i no és gaire agradable. Les fotos que posen són d’una casa a part, que no té res a veure. El que lloguen és una petita part a la planta baixa.

Jean-Pierre is an excellent host, friendly and respects your privacy. We especially liked the location, in the center of the village, you can walk easily to close by restaurants, shops, and bars. The space itself is full of character, it may have once been a stable for donkeys in the distant past. Arched stone ceilings, a French door that you can open the top part while the bottom stays closed, and we enjoyed the warm shower with lots of water pressure.

Christine and Jean-Pierre are wonderful hosts with excellent contact before, during, and after our stay. There is but a single room which is so cute with unique, creative decorating details and a selection of interesting books should you need reading material. The bed is very comfortable, with ample pillows and blankets, and even thoughtful little rugs to spread on each side of the bed should you so choose. There is plenty of hot water in the wonderful shower (with a waterfall head, so nice!) and lots of towels plus the toiletries that you need (shampoo, soap). And the bathroom is immaculately clean. A simple (croissant, coffee, juice) Breakfast (included) is served a nearby restaurant. Lourmarin is a great location to explore other villages in Provence and we highly recommend this chambre d'hôte.

Just be aware that while the room has a well-appointed bathroom, it is 5 steps down from the main floor of the bedroom and there is no door or curtain separating the two, which we found a bit odd. Also, the church bells ring on the hour throughout the night. That was a surprise for us!

It was just the size and accommodations I needed. Easy to check in and out. Complimentary breakfast at the wonderful Cafe Gaby!

Very cute room. Clean. Breakfast at a nearby cafe was included. Free parking around the city. Central location. The host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
