Nice place nice views nice location excellent location

The bed clothing was terrible not nice needs to be cleaned properly and the bathroom towels was disgusting not nice whatsoever it's a shame it's a lovely property needs attention

Location is the best advantage of this apartment. Close to the airport (even on foot), close to the beach (rocky), 20 minutes by car to Funchal. Santa Cruz is a nice and silent city with several good restaurants and rocky beach. Apartment offers good view on planes landing at the airport, and great view on the ocean. There are washing machine and dishwasher, which are useful in case of longer stay. Garage parking lot is also very convenient.

Whole apartment is dirty. Towels were washed but still have a lot of stains. They should be changed to new ones. Furniture is very dirty, especially sofas in living room. They have stains and are covered with old blankets, which do not smell well. Sunbeds on the terrace are so dirty that it is awful to even touch them. Everything needs proper washing or some refreshment or even an exchange. Moreover, there was no dish soap and sponge, nor dishwasher cubes, nor washing powder, nor any kind of detergent. Besides plates, cups and cutlery, every other kitchen equipment was old, shabby and ugly.

Worst experience I have ever experienced. Self check-in at 2pm to a dirty house it changes your mood straight away. Received a text saying that the house it will be cleaned 4pm. Left the place and arrived 7pm with 2tired kids and everything was the same. Called directly the French number and left a message someone arrived to clean. Left the house to have dinner. Arrived 9pm cleaning was going on. I was so tired and the kids that I left and found a better place to save my holidays. I had a 2nd booking in the same house for family to join, I couldn't trust and cancel. Received a refund for the 1st booking but for the second the owner thinks we is trustful and the policy cancellation is enough. It's not the first time I can see from previous comments. So good luck and you need to love airplanes because you will listen to them inside

Lovely view from the balony, very big and spacious apartment, 3 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, free car park, friendly staff :)

The location was satisfactory. The high point was the terrace with ocean view.

Lots of disappointments: 1 - bed sheets were not fresh!!! - probably not changed from the latest hosts 2 - bathroom also not cleaned and not enough towels 3 - the balcony very dirty and with an "ashtray" with cigarette butts 4 - the 3rd floor is very weak, with a skylight that is quite not useful, a shame, and the toilet has no door
