About this house rental
House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bathrooms, 1 outdoor shower and sleeps 10 1 King size bed, 1 queen size bed, and two rooms with two Full/Double size beds. Summer Place community located 1/2 mile from the center of the island and all activities. (Restaurants, Mini Golf, Pier, Ice Creamery, shopping, Marina and etc.) Ocean Ridge Plantation golf course is just ten minutes away. The community pool is located at the entrance of Summer Place, right across from a public access to the Beach. Just a short walk to the Beach from the house. This is a very open, airy, beach house decorated in the ocean colors with a large, 1/2 covered front porch. The kitchen and family room have been recently renovated with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, new appliances and new furniture. The house has two flat screen TV's with cable connection. The den area is open to the upstairs with a high ceiling and a 55” Smart TV. Secure WIFI included. All bedrooms and bathrooms were completely renovated for the 2022 rental season with new hardwood floors, large tile showers, vanities with quartz counter tops and new washer and dryer. There are a total of four bedrooms (1 bedroom has TV with cable box connection and 1 bedroom has a desk with smart TV/monitor and HDMI cable for remote working) and three full bathrooms with showers and an outdoor shower. Relax and hear the ocean from the deck while you watch children play. COVID-19- Health and Safety practices. Our cleaning service, Heaven Scent, is following CDC recommended Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting. If you would like more information about their cleaning practices, please contact them at 910-269-7275 or [email protected] All bedroom mattress are encased in mattress protectors. All pillows are encased in pillow protectors. Renters must provide their own bed and bathroom linens/towels. This home is available to families, headed by adults at least 25 years of age. It is not available for fraternity, sorority, or retreat groups. Overcrowding and house parties are not permitted. We have a strict No Pets and No Smoking policy.

This house was wonderful! The perfect place for two families to vacation together. Communication with the owners, from the beginning, was timely and thorough. All the information provided for our stay was thorough and easy to use. The house was spotless on arrival and beautiful. Well stocked kitchen that we enjoyed for the majority of our meals. The open floor plan and beautiful beach decorations made for lovely evenings spending time with friends and family. We also enjoyed the well outfitted deck in the evenings. A wonderful house with easy access to the beach that made for a perfect beach vacation!

We had a large family reunion and had 4 houses rented. This house was so nice close walk to the beach fully stocked kitchen with silverware pots pans cooking implements Lots of beach chairs umbrellas and a wagon beach toys for young children. It was very clean and comfortable We really enjoyed our stay. The front porch is very roomy and great to sit on

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this residence at Ocean Isle Beach. The only concern we encountered during the entire week of our stay was that the ice maker wasn't functioning. No big deal, as we just went the "old fashioned route" and purchased ice at the local grocery store. Great amenities!

Kitchen had everything we needed!
Front porch had lots of room and new furniture. Bathrooms were like a hotel!
We used the neat just-the-right-sized yard for outdoor games.

Days in the shade was filled with comfortable home upgrades and the home was in a great location. The hosts had communicated access in a timely manner and provided all the needed info to set us up for a wonderful week. The home had all the necessary beach equipment for adults and kids. The kitchen was well equipped and had reasonable food prep items. The king size bed was perfect and our kids slept well in their own bedrooms. Plenty of books, dvds, access to wifi and internet TV made our indoor time in the home fantastic. Outdoor space was easy to use and clean. While we stayed I did attempt to contact the management company via text as indicated on the instructions but I did not hear back from them. It was regarding a minor issue and did not impact our stay in any way. I would strongly recommend reserving your vacation time at Days in the shade and I plan to stay again! Thank you to our hosts!

Beautiful and clean vacation home. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for 8. Plenty of deck furniture as well as beach chairs to take to the ocean. Great location with a community pool.

This property had EVERYTHING!! Beautiful dishes, extra supplies in kitchen- amazing tv system in family room- awesome deck and furniture- great b-que- (charcoal- which was great and brought back old memories)

EVERY LIGHT SWITCH HAD A LABEL!! No tiny detail was missed! As rookies to OIB it was such a great house...complete with an awesome game attached!! (Can't spoil the game on deck...rent the house to see it!!! )

Wonderful house! The house is beautiful with a well stocked kitchen, great games and tons of books. We were very impressed with the beach gear. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon to take it all to the beach. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Such ease renting the property, communicating with property owners, and arrival process. Quick easy walk to the beach and so many fun beach supplies for us to use! Kid friendly and super clean! This was our second time staying here and will definitely be booking it again!

They have certainly thought of all the little extras to make your stay comfortable and convenient. The kitchen had absolutely everything you need, many outlets had usb charging options, my kids loved the many cards and games available, and we loved access to the beach chairs and umbrellas (as packing for 5 in one car was very tight). The location was just a quick walk to the community pool and beach and we loved the private drive and community. It was perfect for kids and adults alike. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely give these owners many thumbs up!!!! Thanks for a great vacation!

Nice stay, just the right size and didn’t have to bring chairs and such for the beach. Pool was right around the corner and beach right across the street, or like we had a golf cart the access for cart parking was only about 3 blocks down

Loved it
My family and I (total of 4 adults and 3 kids) had an amazing time! The house was clean, updated, and spacious for our family! It was perfect in relation to the walk to and from the beach and access to the community pool. We will definitely be booking again for future vacations!

A Happy week at Summer Place
We have often stayed here before, and like this home and location very much. The upgrades and improvements made by the new owners are excellent. They enhanced our stay. We highly recommend #22 Private Drive!

Great house, perfect location!
This house was wonderful! We went for a Girls Weekend and had a great time! The house is updated, beautifully decorated and in a great location. It’s a very short walk to the beach. The deck is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. There are so many nice little touches like charging blocks in the bedroom. Thank you for having us!

Great small vacation
Property is beautiful and so close to the beach. My wife and I enjoyed the Sunset Beach race while my in-laws enjoyed the beach and everything this property has to offer. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great Owners - Easy to Communicate and Work With
Our summer stay at Chris and Kim's place was the week of the hurricane and it unfortunately could not happen due to the restrictions on Ocean Isle. Chris and Kim were easily accessible to us and communicated with us throughout the time leading up to the hurricane and during the week. They are truly lovely people and have a heart for OIB, their vacation home, and the people who rent it. While we may not have been able to stay there this past summer, we hope to in the future and would recommend renting from them!

Well equipped vacation home!
This home was clean and comfortable with a great deck. The kitchen was really well equipped and we really loved the fully stocked beach equipment closet!

Great Beach Home
The layout of this home was perfect for a family vacation with large open room that included the dinning room, kitchen, and living area. It made for a great gathering area for the family in the evening. The same can be said about the large deck with plenty of nice furniture. The house is well kept and very clean. They keep a nice supply of beach furniture for the guests to use during their stay. It's a very short walk to the a beautiful beach. The owners responded to messages in a matter of minutes though-out the booking and stay. We will definitely be back.

Owners were great to work with, especially given the pandemic issues. House was neat, clean, and very comfortable. Storeroom had everything we needed for the beach. Just a short walk to the pool and the beach.

Beautiful week at Ocean Isle
It was our first time visiting Ocean isle and we all loved it!! The owners of the house thought of everything and what a beautiful house. There was plenty of room for all of us and they really thought of everything. The house was well equipped and so close to the beach. We didn't want to leave and hope to be back again :)
