The location, the retro feeling of the house. The coffee machine, the fridge.

The room was way too hot when we checked in because the curtains were drawn up, so the sun shone in all day, which was way too warm. The curtains should have been drawn down to keep the heat out. The room was clean all over, except the bathroom. The shower was clogged, so the shower had hairs and dirt in the shower bottom. The water level in the shower bottom was rising which was not pleasant when using the shower. The handsoap dispencer was not working too well because it shot soap all over our clothes when we used it, which was not very nice and stained our clothes.

The house looks scary from the outside and we felt it looked like a haunted house. Inside is a little better. The inside is in the making. Bring a face mask, the curtains are too transparent (normally Icelandic hotels provide opaque curtains given the long summer nights).

Junior suite was ok but shower was dirty round the plug hole. Owner kindly let us leave our bag there.

The outside of property is terrible, needs a complete makeover. It’s very off putting on arrival.Disappointing

Really liked location. Short walk from ferry/or easy parking depending on mode of transport. Good quiet place and owner very helpful re letting stay on later when ferry delayed. It has a huge fridge but no cooking facilities. I dont cook on holiday but be aware. Have to wash up in small sink in bathroom. Ideal for short stay.

We got our ferry cancelled last minute and couldn’t reach the islands, however the Property was very very kind to understand the situation and refund us the cost of the accommodation.

I could not possibly want more! Thank you for a nicest stay in a very comfortable room. Washbasin and coffeemaker in the room was cool surprise, tv was errorless. Thanks again :)

Ideally, I'd like the room to be vacuumed a bit more upon arrival, but the room was a great value, the staff was very accommodating, and I would still definite stay here again, and recommend to others to stay here.

Very comfort beds, very nice interior and the location of the guesthouse. It is small town but you will find a lot of places to visit just in 2-10 min ride - puffins, restaurants, easy short hikes just for the relaxation at the end of the day etc. The ferry in 3 min drive. The location is really good. And some tea also was good thing. :)

None of the sinks in the house is convenient - if you want to fill the small bottle or kettle with water it will be very interesting procedure. Also there is not a lot of space to prepare the meal in the room without putting under the risk the cleanness of the room. The blinds on the middle window were broken so again nothing critical, but you'll need to think how to fix the position of the blinds

We stayed in the Junior suite Mountain View. The room was adorable and comfortable. Small, cozy. nice to have a separate seating area to watch TV. Netflix was nice to have. Location was ideal.

No information on WIFI. While things appeared clean, the shower had a slow drain, which I found was due to accumulation of hair in the drain (yikes).

Although we had a car, we chose this location so we could easily walk around town. Only a few blocks away from the sea life trust beluga whale sanctuary, restaurants, bakeries and my favorite breakfast spot where we could get skyr. Also, parking on the street was easy. Even though we did not meet the hosts in person, they were very communicative and when we had doubts about the sofa bed they were quick to answer us. Even after our stay, I realized I left my charger and they were quick to locate it. Great for a couple or two friends. The size is small but fine for a night or long weekend. Super clean and those black out shades were a dream in summertime to keep all the light out. We liked that while there was not a full kitchen, we had somewhere to make coffees and store some fresh food in the fridge. While the owners are working on the exterior of the guesthouse, our room and the common areas of the interior of the quest house seem very new. If I find myself visiting the island again, I would one hundred percent consider staying here again.

We could not locate a hair dryer, it would be great to have one in the room.

it has old house charm, lovingly cared for. the room is small but has everything you need, and the bed is very comfy. the location is excellent. checking was very easy.

it was perfect for me but isn’t for someone looking for luxurious accommodations.

When we arrived there was no key in the lockbox.. took awhile to reach the owners. Some guests took the only toilet paper roll in the bathroom and there was no exrra rolls around

Difficult to find. Some street signs would be nice. Some lights in the bedroom did not work. There was no soap.
