Myself & my friend had a great stay in this lovely apartment. The apartment is fully equipped with everything that you could ask for including aircon which was a blessing during the recent heatwave. The roof top terrace has sun on it for the entire day and has sun loungers & large umbrella. The views are lovely. There are a few shops within walking distance and a lift up to the apartment so no dragging shopping bags up lots of stairs. Tavira is a beautiful town with lots of restaurants & cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Cara was extremely helpful with any questions we had before we arrived as was Paula when we were there. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely spacious apartment and the rooftop terrace was great as it was at least 26 degrees every day. Tavira is a lovely place and the apartment is conveniently situated - short walk to the centre. Again, we had a lovely week away!

Property exactly as described. Location is in a quieter residential area of Tavira but only a few minutes walk from the vibrant town centre. Property comes equipped with everything you need to make the most of your stay. The roof terrace and balconies give access to the sun pretty much for the entire day, excellent for sun worshippers. We enjoyed it so much we’ll be returning next year (hopefully).

Ideal accommodation in this beautiful and interesting old town. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. Although only 10 minutes walk to a host of good restaurants the location was very tranquil with balconies and a rooftop terrace for aperitifs! And plenty of parking space at the end of a hot day. Ideally located to see the natural beauties and pretty towns of the Algarve.

This was my second visit to the property. It is excellently located close to two supermarkets and the railway station, and is a short walk into town. Although this is a second floor flat with the terrace one floor up, there is a lift to get you there with the food and wine. The view from the terrace really is as good as the photos - there's no power station just out of shot! There is also ample on street parking if you hire a car. This is a very quiet and safe residential area, and there is a beautiful garden at the rear of the property. The modestly sized rear balcony makes an ideal breakfast location as it overlooks the garden and traps the sun in the morning. This is not a flat for those who want to walk to a beach or hang around about a swimming pool, but is a superb choice if you want to chill out on the terrace, tour the area by car or train, or amble round the fabulous historic centre of Tavira sampling the many cafes and bars. We did all three and had a terrific time. The first time we visited, there was just the two of us and I highly recommend it for couples. This time we came with two other family members. The rooms are large and there was plenty of space, but the single bathroom was a bit of a bottleneck in the morning. Offset against this is that the extra cost for using the second bedroom was modest, making it extremely good value. You pays your money and you takes your choice, but this, for our type of holiday, was an excellent choice. It is highly likely that we will return for a third visit.

This is a spacious and very well equipped apartment located in a quiet residential area but just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Tavira. The wifi was speedy and reliable, very helpful with planning days out and also to sort out problems with our return flight booking. The roof terrace with its loungers was a real bonus and a fair amount of time was spent soaking up the late summer sun! There is a Pingo Doce supermarket a few minutes away by car and we found this well stocked although with all of the wonderful restaurants in Tavira we ended up eating out every night but one. Cara was helpful and responded quickly to the couple of small queries that we did have. To summarise, we had a really enjoyable week and loved Tavira. We were very comfortable in the apartment and would happily book it again.

We had a really enjoyable time in Tavira. The property was easy to find and conveniently located just a short walk from the old town and supermarkets. We hired a car in order to be able to walk in the nearby countryside and appreciated being able to park right outside the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to cook a few meals, and a short walk to nearby restaurants when we wanted to eat out. We particularly liked being able to sit out on a choice of verandahs and the roof. Just what we needed for a relaxing week's holiday.

The apartment is quite spacious; two large bedrooms, one bathroom, good sized kitchen and large sitting room/dining room. There are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can sit outside the kitchen, the bedroom or the sitting room to eat/drink. There is also a lovely spacious private solarium which is accessed by going up one floor. Great place to sunbathe or barbeque or even dry your washing!! The location is about 10 minutes walk from the centre which will take you down through the old historic area of Tavira. There are lovely sites to see in the old town and the restaurants and coffee shops are very good and are quiet inexpensive. Do try O Castelo and A Ver Tavira, both are on Rue de Liberdade. For coffee and cake you have to go to Pastelaria Veneza!! The best place to shop near to the apartment is Lidl as it will provide you with all the basics. However, the best supermarket in Tavira is, in my opinion, the Continente in the Shopping Centre. It would take you about 25/30 mins to walk there but there are taxi services outside to take you home. The local train station is beside Lidl and, although the trains are very old, they are frequent and they go all along the Algarve. There is also a bus station as well. There is no beach in the town itself so you have to get a Ferry out. Barril beach is highly recommended. This was out first time to this apartment and to Tavira and we loved all of it. Cara was very helpful to us in every way. I would highly recommend the apartment and Tavira overall.

We enjoyed our stay at Caras apartment,the location being excellent within 15 minutes walk to centre of Tavira.The apartment had all the ameneties that you would require with an excellent roof terrace for sunbathing etc
