Decepcionados por la piscina

El personal fue maravilloso, nos trató muy bien. La comida estaba muy rica y el desayuno era variado. La habitación era muy grande y espaciosa. El hotel en general estaba estaba muy limpio.

Aunque el resto del hotel estuviese muy limpio, la piscina estaba sucia. El primer día estaban las paredes llenas de algas y tenía bichos nadando, así que les dijimos que estaba sucia. Encendieron la depuradora y el segundo día estaba peor, todo el agua verde y turbia (foto). Elegimos este alojamiento por la piscina y no la pudimos utilizar; pudiéndonos haber alojado en otros hoteles por la zona. Además el manager del hotel se comportó de forma poco profesional con nosotros. Le pedimos que nos gestionará un taxi y nos hizo regatear el precio de forma prepotente con comentarios como “vaya veo que habéis aprendido a regatear”. En el check out, a pesar de tener todo incluído, nos cobró un importe que nosotros no entendíamos y nos lo justificó como que era el agua mineral que habíamos consumido.

Well Recommended.

The behaviour of the staff is excellent. Pool is well maintained. Room cleanliness and promptness is good.

Food variety should be little better. Non veg dishes are usually minimal and in continental style. Some Indian dishes like laal maas or dal bati could be served.

Dinner was nice, good location for safari, staff pleasant.

Breakfast not as appealing as dinner. Natives staying in the hotel making far too much noise into the night making waking up at 5am for safari more challenging

Dev Vilas is a very nice safari lodge with welcoming, kind and helpful staff, situated perfectly for safari trips in the Ranthambore national park. We found it positive to find both Indian and more continental food in the breakfast buffet, as our stomachs were not prepared for all-day Indian cuisine. That being said, the Indian food is very tasty, as was the food served in this buffet! We enjoyed the view from the rooftop above the restaurant, and were particularly fond of the omelet master at breakfast. When my partner got sick during our stay, the hotel owner provided us with electrolytes, which was very kind. It was also nice being able to buy customized clothing from the store next to the eating area.

This is not related to the hotel directly, but rather to the staff's consideration for foreigners who don't know better. We (as ignorant tourists) would have appreciated getting a warning about possible effects of masala tea as it was served to us. My partner got sick during our stay at Dev Vilas. As I told the employees that he needed to cancel his afternoon safari because he was feeling very bad and throwing up, one of them commented (recited from memory, not a quote: ) "Well, he did have three masala teas this morning, before the morning safari". If we had gotten a 'heads up' as he was being served the tea, there is a fair chance that he would not have gotten sick.

Nice hotel

Lovely hospitable staff Big clean room with 2 restrooms. Safari cars stop by the hotel for pick up/drop off

Street noise could be heard well in our room but maybe there are quieter rooms available on the property

An old world charm making it very comfortable and cozy. A must visit here if in Ranthambore.

It's a beautiful property. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful and considerate enough to give us blankets on our safari trips as it was frightfully cold that day. The buffet is very well thought of and planned. They tended to our needs on a particular food as a family member was a little unwell and gave us very good service. The rooms were superbly spacious too and very well thought of. We would go back to this place if we ever visit again.

very simple and basic but with all facilities

very expensive wrt to the facilities they are providing ancient room heater , very small tv etc never book a safari with them they are charging double the cost for canter booking for 1200 safari they charged me 2500 per head

Exceptional

The location and the ambience of the property was amazing. You get a Royal feel while staying there. The property is so close to the Jungle, one gets the raw feel of staying in the jungle!! The Rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was amazing and the staff was very courteous. All in all the stay here was value for money and I strongly recommend this property for your next trip for Ranthambore.

Amazing experience 4 tiger's and a leopard.

Staff very helpful. They went out of their way for any needs from questions before our trip, to recommendations for tiger safari, to help sorting out our daughters pcr to fly to next destination.

Delightful stay

Nice big rooms, good food and lovely staff, especially the GM- Pankaj Sharma, who was very thoughtful of our request. The staff is wonderful and took care of the kids well. A good place for those wanting to enjoy thier tiger safari experience with a bit of old world charm.

Great stay and I would recommend it to anyone intending to visit the tiger reserve.

The management and staff were excellent and the property itself is pretty much what you would expect for a hotel which is geared to cater to individuals/groups interested in the conservation of the tiger and the environment they live in. At the time we stayed there a group from National Geographic used this hotel as their base while they were filming and preparing a documentary about the tiger reserve.

Nothing to complain about. All basic needs and more are taken care of.

Two days in Ranthambore with family

The property is value for money. The staff is brilliant- exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. The premises are very clean and the food is fresh and tasty. The rooms are huge and very comfortable & the overall vibe of the place is very homely. The location is very close to all the safari gates which is an added advantage.

Incredible stay.

Its a very classy property for people who love solitude and admire the by gone era ..So much attention to detail has been given that it resembles the old hunters lodge .Great place to have fun with friends and family. Their personal touch with every guest gives them an edge over others. I will definately come here again. They have an incredible staff who understands the needs of the customers very well .Thanks for the lovely stay.

A collosal waste of money with no value offered

The staff were sweet and were trying to be helpful

The room charge was too high for the facilities offered. Also the mess up with the room booked ba the room offered. The charge was reduced but we wouldn’t have booked a standard suite in the first place for that high an amount. we had to live with it since we had no choice

Great property! Amazing stay! Awesome services! Nice hospitality! Services and staff are something which is a cheery on the cake. Hotel is very near to national park so you don't need to worry about safari as Jeep will pickup you from your hotel only.
