Casa molto grande ma un po’ datata, avrebbe bisogno di un tocco di rinnovamento, ad esempio nuovo sostegno per la doccia che non regge.

I booked 3 bedroom apartment, this was the main reason why I have chosen this one. But one room was locked and there were only 2 bedrooms and kitchen. For this money I would have never booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Generally the apartment is old and requires a fresh refurbishment, specially bathrooms which are rusty and mossy. Washing machine which is technically functioning, actually is very old, super loud, semi-automatic (it first washes and then you need to start new cycle in order to spin it, also it tears the cloth, all the kids cloth was spoiled by this machine :( I was searching an apartment with 3 bedrooms, washing machine and close to the city center. Very disappointed as 2 out of 3 criteria are not met. The location is good, just few minutes walking to the old town.

The lovely hostess Ray, was easy to contact & met us at the property for key handover & to provide instructions & assistance which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is very spacious being in a superb old elegant building overlooking a park. The kitchen is large & could easily accomodate a family with 3 bedrooms on offer. As a couple travelling we did not have access to the other bedrooms, but had both bathrooms & appreciated a washing maching & the clothesline to hang our washing on! The location of the apartment provides an easy walk into the old town of Alghero & it was great to be able to have secure parking at the building. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations & could not speak more highly of La Saletta which was just a short walk away. This apartment stay could be really fantastic with just a few upgrades.

Lack of furnishings to sit on in the large bedroom area that we assume would have been the original sitting room. It would be nice to have a couch in there at least. The A/C unit was very efficient, but the remote control unit was without batteries when we arrived. Having the water overflow hose emptying into the plastic tank inside the room, which we had to empty is also not ideal. This could be a great property with just a few updates.

Raimonda is an absolute sweetheart of a host! She was super helpful and understanding. The house is big, with two big bathrooms. Well located, 10 min from the city centre and alot of cute bars and restaurants.

We felt that the apartment was a little too pricey for the quality/size. The third room was actually just the living room - not ideal for a group to hang in.

All you see in the photos reflect reality. Very nice place, a bit traditional what we wanted it to be, very spacious. Everything clean. All worked perfect. Also the location is just amazing, so close everywhere and 1 minute walk to get to the sea shore and watch the sunset. Owners are very good people, once you are there you feel welcomed and they are very helpful.

There was an issue with getting the keys and I hope the owners managed out the co-worker who really was a person who should never deal with guests. He was rude, didn't answer the calls/messages/ect. I know that for sure it was fixed, as I was promised and I recommend the place to anyone.

Lovely, large clean apartment. Very comfortable beds. Close to old town. Well stocked kitchen for cooking.

A fresh sponge for the dishes was a big plus. There was only one wine glass however. Big TV in one of the bedrooms Old but effective AC units in both bedrooms Clean place Helpful and friendly hosts: We had one issue with the WiFi on the first day which has been promptly fixed one day later after calling once.

The balcony is facing the main street and has no usable furniture whatsoever. The place is not very well insulated and heats up a lot throughout the day. The Wifi was very slow although it had good signal in the whole appartment (around 5 MBit/s down, 0.23 Mbit/s up) Noise: There is a lot of noise penetrating the appartment from outside: There is a bar one level below. During our stay there was loud music originating from it until around ~23:30 every day. We did not actually mind it that much but it was definitely a downside. Also, whenever someone opened the gate for the inner yard, the old creaking thing made obnoxious noises. Two of the bedrooms which have been accessible for us were facing the main street which did not help with keeping noise to a minimum. On the fridge there was a list of house rules which by itself is not an issue, however there was a very unprofessional ALL CAPITAL SECTION included which tried to guilt the visitor into leaving a good review and mentioning how a bad review will hurt the host's business. The toilet flush did not work very well. Generally most installations and applicances were outdated, e.g. the fridge made annoying noises. No proper wardrobe or place to hang up our clothes. One of the beds did not have its own room but was placed in the great hall. The Check-In was handled with Italian punctuality.
