Breakfast was superb, the restaurant was excellent, the owners of the hotel and the owners of the restaurant (different families) all amazing people, extremely helpful and friendly, genuinely nice folk.

Everything was perfect, I will be back.

What a hidden gem, I absolutely loved every moment of my stay there. This historic place has certainly got its charm and it definitely has got a soul, the rooms are newly furnished in a classy and tasteful style, overall it's relaxing and has a soul-soothing atomsphere. The breakfast is served in the kitchen—just like at home. Will be back!

WOW WOW WOW!!!! We stumbled across this incredible hotel and immediately booked for my 30th birthday with my mum. It was just perfect! Charlotte was just the most incredible host. She very very kindly waited up for us on a sunday night to let us have a late check in, she explained how everything worked and showed us to our room. The room was just out of this world and perfect in every way. Breakfast was such a treat. The pool looked stunning but we didnt get chance to use it due to our itinerary. The town is just a stones throw away and there are plenty of bus stops around... we happened to walk from the abbey to Saint Paul de venue which didnt take too long! Charlotte and family, thank you for making our stay just magical.

I wish we could have stayed longer. I can not wait to bring my friends and family back to show them this perfect hotel. The hotel was faultless.

An incredible old abbey. Great experience. Unique rooms. Very good breakfast with homemade Marmelade and fresh bread and cakes. You can walk to the village center and go to small local bistros. Just totally quaint!

It is a unique 11th to 13th century old building tastefully and sympathetically decorated while having high quality modern ensuites, the garden and common areas are equally pleasing. It is close to some beautiful historical towns i.e. St Paul de Vence and across from a lovely heritage village " Ville Mairie' . The young Manager Charlotte was a very kind and warm lady and an asset to the establishment! I would certainly return again. Vivien, Ireland

This is a superb hotel which has been renovated to a high standard. The welcome from the owner at the reception desk was excellent. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and the decoration and furniture were of high quality. The location is great, just 5 minutes by car to St.Paul de Vence and 10 minutes to the beach at Cagnes. The best experience was breakfast which we ate in the wonderful outside courtyard area.

The Wi-Fi signal was a little bit weak.

The Owner was delightful and extremely helpful and thorough in welcoming us and helping us with our dinner reservations and options. The property was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful and it was like having family in the kitchen with you.

There is nothing not to like. They are planning upgrades to the rooms and electrical within this year, which would make L'Abbey even better.

All a little dated - for such a beautiful building, we hoped for a bit better quality of workmanship on interiors/swimming pool.

The location is so perfect and beautifully designed by the new owner. The breakfast is very extensive in a lovely area. parking is very easy on own property. We loved the dinners at 'Le Romarin'.

The bathroom was old fashioned. You had to shower in the bath without any curtains. The complete bathroom was wet! We learned from the owner that all the rooms will be renovated this coming Novermber. We believe that after this renovation this location is more than perfect!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel were sparkling clean, everything it was unreal. 110% recommended.

The owners of the property were very gracious hosts and really went out of there way to make you feel at home. The breakfast was quite expensive but was delicious and the owner personally made you eggs. The wifi was the fastest I have ever seen in Europe and had free parking on site. The property was very beautiful and quite.

The rooms that we stayed in needed renovation and the rooms were not cleaned very well. I had to personally clean the AC to make it work since it was so dirty. The owners are renovating the other rooms and in time this place will be amazing once they are completed.

Beautiful building with amazing history and architecture. Extremely relaxing vibes. Proper family feel hotel/B&B. Very comfortable room and bed. Superb breakfast in a lovely setting. The place is family run and really feels like all the staff care greatly that guests have a positive and relaxing experience. Staying at L'Abbaye feels like home (albeit far more glam!).

Shower was only hand held over the bath. Breakfast was over priced at 18 euros a head. More lighting is needed in the room. we understand that renovation of the rooms will take place next winter
