Nestled in Eagle River, this lovely house for R 2,797 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This house is located 15 minutes north of Anchorage in the heart of Eagle River, a quaint hillside town with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Despite its central location, the house feels tucked away in the trees and hosts a spectacular sunset that you don't want to miss. Come home from a day of sightseeing and exploring in beautiful Alaska to this family-friendly sanctuary. Enjoy endless amenities including a gas fireplace, full kitchen, and two large living spaces. You'll feel right at home in this open-concept space complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and a dreamy view of the beautiful forests and even the occasional eagle swooping by! The house is approximately 2,300 sq ft and has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Nestled in a corner lot, this A-frame 2 story house sleeps 10-12 comfortably with 4 beds (one is located in a living area), two full couches, and an optional air mattress (queen sized). It includes a 3 car driveway and RV parking (summer only).There is a back deck and fenced-in backyard for privacy and safety and well as a large grassy front yard complete with fire pit to sit around and roast s'mores together. Sip your morning coffee on the covered porch and enjoy views of the surrounding forest area. Guests have full access to all appliances, including a washer/dryer as well as the propane grill on the back deck- perfect for summer barbecuing! On a bigger scale, the house is conveniently located smack dab between major tourist attractive cities such as Girdwood (home to Aleyeska, the ski capital of AK) and the historic little town of Talkeetna on the outskirts of Denali National Park, with several noteworthy spots and trails in between. Take the short drive south to Anchorage where you can explore bike trails along the coast, endless restaurants and shops, and visit the local zoo and recently expanded museum. Or, stay in town and take advantage of the beautiful surrounding area for hiking, camping, and of course, fishing! The Eagle River Nature Center is a local favorite, complete with several trails and yurt camping sites (If you decide to do this, best to book yurts in advance, especially during the summer!
