Perfect for couples, families, and those just wanting to get away from the city. Free public boat ramp is one block away. Kayaks, paddle boat, fishing equipment, AC/Heat, Ceiling Fans, Grills. This is an ideal getaway spot! Enjoy your private deck while looking out over the huge red dock and the lake. There is also a floating dock for easy access to the water and securing your boat. You can often spot deer and wild turkey on the shoreline across the lake. The free public access boat ramp is only a block away. The 5,369-acre Hill Country State Natural Area is about 15 minutes away for hiking and cycling. Take a drive through the scenic Texas Hill Country in any number of directions to explore the area. The Dock Holiday Inn has 3 Bedrooms and 4 Single Roll Away Beds. 1st Bedroom has a King size bed, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with shower/tub combo. 2nd Bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle underneath. 3rd Bedroom has a Queen bed, bunk beds and an armoire. Fully equipped kitchen (stove with oven and range top, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dish washer, coffee maker, all utensils, dishes and glassware, pots and pans, fryer). Two bathrooms with towels provided. 1st bathroom is shower/tub combo in Bedroom #1. 2nd Bathroom has a stand-alone shower. Washer/Dryer down below house. Other amenities include air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, Flat screen ROKU TV, DVD player, WiFi, a whole-house cell signal amplifier provides a good cell signal, a blue-tooth portable speaker, a gas grill, a charcoal grill, a stone fire pit, and access to kayaks, paddle boat and fishing equipment. It has a huge outdoor covered deck with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker furniture. All bed linens and bath towels and soap supplies are provided. If you need more room see our listing next door, The Red Dock Retreat - it is a 2/1 that sleeps 8 guests. Or reserve both houses for gatherings up to 20 guests total! Guest access Full access to the lake house, free WIFI, dock, floating dock, parking, kayaks, paddle boat and fishing equipment. We are not responsible for accidents. Children must be supervised at all times. Stairs on property. Only adults should carry kayaks/paddle boat. Follow posted rules for kayak use. No fires in fireplace in the house. Low lake water alert! Due to the drought the lake water is very low at our lake house.

The house was very clean and well stocked. We had one small issue and the owner called right away and we easily figured it out. Excellent communication. The back porch and covered deck was amazing. Lots of seating and very comfortable.

We stayed in this property over Thanksgiving when the lakefront was basically dry. The deck is very nice and we sat out mornings and evenings and watched the stars. We also cooked out one night. Our beds were very comfortable and we found what we needed easily. We would definitely stay here again.

Although the water level wasn’t what we expected, it was actually perfect for everyone to enjoy! We all had an amazing time and enjoyed hanging out on the patio after a day of kayaking, swimming and fishing! Thank you for helping us make our trip one to remember!

This listing had amazing views and so much space and activities inside and outside the house for the kids! The views for my wedding pictures were so beautiful and the house was fully stocked with whatever we needed! Lacy was so nice and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend other families to stay here if your looking for a getaway.

The owners are fantastic about the entire communication process. All my questions were answered almost immediately. The house is extremely well stocked. The deck is spacious and the view is beautiful. We had a group of 7 ranging from 16 to senior and everyone enjoyed themselves and had plenty to do. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a charming house with so much character and a great location! This house was so roomy with lots of space! We loved the big deck and the views across the river were amazing! The owners have thought of everything and there is nothing that they have missed. We had never been to Medina Lake and didn’t realize just how big it was. We liked the seclusion of not being right on the lake but probably would have tried to rent a boat to see more of it. Great communication from the owners. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our needs over the weekend. It was fully stocked with everything needed to cook, bbq, and play outside. The number of kayaks, peddle boats, and fishing poles gave everyone a chance to participate and play. The deck and yard was beautiful with plenty of space. clean and every convenience available from extra blankets, towels, pillows, washer/dryer, stocked pantry, smores kit, board games, full kitchenware, playpen for infants, life jackets for everyone. Basically everything you would need for your vacation with your kids young and older ones. The use of the kanoe and kayaks, as well as fishing gear was so much fun. I would still recommend to bring your own food but really can't say enough about this place. Thank you to Lacy and Tina. Our family had a blast.

Lacy was very easy to work with and communicated all of the property information before we arrived so everything was ready we we got there. The patio is fantastic with tons of room and it has an awesome view of the river. The water is calm and pristine and plenty of water sports are available at the home. All the essentials you need are in the home. I recommend bringing your food and beverages with you because there is a full kitchen and bbq grill. There is a store within walking distance, although their prices are high. You will not be disappointed with this choice for your vacation!

This was our 2nd trip to Lacy’s Medina lake property. We stayed in the 2 bed last time and we were not let down by the 3 bed. Kitchen was fully equipped including the pantry. The deck was the perfect place to relax and with it being gated our toddlers could run around safely without us having to be concerned they could head down to the water. All the boats and lake toys meant that we just had a jam packed weekend of fun. Thank you again for letting us stay. We will be back!

This lake house had everything you could ever want in a vacation property. The owners have thought of everything! It was clean, well-stocked with linens, supplies, appliances, chocolate, etc... We didn’t get to enjoy the water because of the weather and time constraints, but did get to sit out on the beautiful deck. I will tell you it’s quite a drive, but worth it if you don’t have to go back and forth to San Antonio. The hills, wildlife, water, and winding roads were amazing.

The house is beautiful, clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your time on the lake. Fishing, kayaking, grilling, s’mores around the fire pit and more swings than we could use. It was better than advertised and we can’t wait to bring the family back next year. Lacy and Tina are wonderful people and hosts with an amazing lake property.
