Lovely property, a lot bigger than it looks on the photos. Amazing views over the beach, lovely and warm inside the property, comfortable beds and sofa. Lady who looks after the property called to ask if we needed to know anything and if it was all ok which was nice. Only thing which was a bit of a negative was not enough small 1/2 pint drinking glases(only 2) and for the size of the property maybe a few more needed, oh and a large measuring jug. Only very minor things to be honest. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

The property was nice but dated so we had trouble with locking patio doors and some widows wouldn't open, shower didn't work, all a bit tired, just needs updating.
Great location.

Overall really amazing location and we will definitely come back - if only for beach access you can’t beat it - there’s just one downside- and I’m more sad than critical because to be honest for the price it was definitely worth it- but it’s such a shame it’s so tired inside and out - it needs some TLC and this obviously would reflect in its price- but if this were my property I’d invest a bit more money into it - it’s a bit tired and dated- having said that it’s not put me off staying because of the location alone - my one pet hate was the bedding - please no more polyester downstairs- too itchy and sticky- the bed was so comfortable but the duvet cover and pillowcases were too budget - please put on pillow protectors - as I stripped the cases off at the end of our stay to stained pillows - that did put me off slightly - but still a fantastic place to stay thank you for having us! ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Bream, just wanted a relaxing time away with our dog. We walked and walked on the beaches and along to the fort with an ice cream stop on the way back and once back at the property we sat with a coffee and watched everyone else walk by on the beach. Peaceful and relaxing stay, the dogs exhausted nd very sandy.

Fantastic holiday home , close to all amenities, beautiful views . Would definitely visit again.

Had a wonderful stay.we didn't want to come home. The only downside ,the beds were doubles and kings would have been better and the single beds were very flimsy, needed proper divans. Although it all looked a little tired it was a great holiday I would come again .

Had a great stay, could not fault anything.
The stunning views at sunset, having all the close family together and dog, I could just go on and on, but I'll leave as 5 star.

A real home from home in a stunning location - the convenience of being on the beach, especially with a young child, gave us our best family holiday yet! The amazing sea views from the lounge ensured whatever the weather, you could enjoy this property all year round - in fact, we intend to book a return visit ASAP!!

We arrived to wonderful sunny view of the massive expanse of sand just out of the garden gate! All home comforts within the house, comfortable beds, plenty of storage and very secure garden to allow the dog to roam free. Takeaway over the road was very handy with good food. We would love to return to Brean and Avalon. Thank you.

Fantastic location on the beach, perfect for a family and dog holiday! House is large enough to accommodate everyone without feeling as if you are on top of each other. Everything is there that you could need.

Had a great stay at this property, clean and very comfortable. Being right on the beach is it the perfect stay to have long dog walks. The sunsets are also amazing, Great Pub/Restaurant & takeaways over the road so no cooking for us!! I would definitely stay again & recommend this property to family and friends. Thanks again

This was a lovely location for a seaside break. With direct access to a sandy beach it was great especially as they accepted dogs. Our pets loved that. The downsides though are that the bungalow is very dated, the property hasn't been refurbished for many years if not decades. The kitchen is so old there are doors literally hanging off and there are no matching sets of anything, through years of breakages etc. All the knives were blunt so if you are thinking of cooking, bring your own. The bathrooms were also very dated. The property was spacious and well located opposite a dog-friendly pub and takeaway but otherwise it needs a lot of investment to bring it up to modern standards. I think in today's holiday rental market it needs to be updated throughout to attract premium rates and renters.

The location was excellent and the size of the property was wonderful, although in some area's a little tired. Very easy booking system with lots of travel directions.
We all had a lovely stay and weather was kind to us.
Thank you Ann and vrbo

We would definitely stay again! The views were absolutely beautiful, the local walks lovely and the position of the property in relation to surrounding towns was excellent. The house was a good size and beds comfortable. Our visit was in November and sadly the fish shop and Chinese opposite were closed for the season. During the summer season these would be open which would be very convenient!

Found this wonderful property, all was as advertised. Very spacious, fantastic view’s, excellent facilities. In a good location with direct beach access which the Grandkids enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Location is fairly quiet, even with the fish & chip shop/Chinese Takeaway almost opposite - this is handy too! Bungalow is clean with stunning views from nearly all of the windows and the garden backs onto the beach, meaning great sunsets can be seen. There are one or two minor things others have pointed out like the en-suite basin tap moving and a new cord needed for the downstairs bathroom light, but I’m sure these things will be corrected. My only comment - which is personal I know as my husband is a big guy - is that I would have liked a king size bed rather than a double in the upstairs bedroom with the dual aspect windows.
Hope to return.

Apart from struggling to get hot water, the stay was as good as the many times we have stayed there before

This was our third holiday at Avalon. The property is showing signs of wear and tear and kitchen items need renewing. Having said that, the property is large, spacious and comfortable. The real highlight is location. Theres a quiet beach literally beyond the rear garden, a pub and a chinese chippy to the front. The sunsets are quite stunning. Thanks to Karen for sorting out a minor issue. You are a star! Would love to stay here again in the future.

Had a great stay in what has to be one of the best located properties in Brean. However the property could do with some updating and the sun loungers need replacing. This did not spoil our stay and is just my opinion. I would also recommend a guest book and folder with instructions and leaflets on things to do locally. We would definitely look to book this again in the future.
Many Thanks to Karen for her help and advice.

Avalon, is a very spacious accommodation with 4 good sized bedrooms and the living space is actually bigger than the advert pictures depict. The views out to the beach are amazing and the sun-sets can be spectacular. Access to the beach is another really nice feature and ample parking is another big plus. The property is well equipped and comfortable, but is showing signs of tiredness. We had a slight issue with one of the showers and some of the kitchen utensils could do with updating. These minor things did not spoil a lovely week with the family and we are already in the process of booking to return next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our break here. So much space in and outside the house. Straight onto the beach (down a few steps and over a few small sandunes). Opposite a lovely chip shop too.
Well equipped with everything you could need.

Our weekend stay was fantastic from booking through to the checkout. The only bad point is that we had to say good bye.
You cant beat the location - fishχp / Chinese over the road and next door to that is the most dog friendly pub ever with a good menu.
The house is very spacious, well set out and has everything you need. The garden has a private gate leading onto the dog friendly beach, what more could you ask for!
We cant wait to spend another holiday here in the future.
Thank You Ann!
