Cottage is located 15 minutes from Brevard, 5 minutes from Mills River, 10 minutes from Asheville airport, 20 minutes from Hendersonville. The front door (upper level) opens to a large deck (partially covered) with a breath taking view of a 5 acre stocked pond (fishing permitted) with the mountains of Pisgah National Forest in the background. The rear covered deck off the lower level sits 6 feet from a small stocked pond, relax and enjoy feeding and viewing Koi, Bream, and Grass Carp. Outdoor grills are located on both decks for your convenience. Relax & Enjoy Fishing In The Private 5 1/2 Acre Pond (Stocked With Bass, Trout,Bream And Catfish) While You View The Mountains Of Pisgah National Forest. This house was perfect for our friend group especially with the pond for the guys to fish in and to keep them entertained. It was near everywhere we wanted to go too. Will for sure book this house again!

The property was nice although from the listing we didn't know it was situated on a main road. Owner was prompt with correspondence. My only suggestion would be better maintenance on the grills or at least cleaning brushes for them.

I stayed here with my two sons and our two small dogs in the fall. We enjoyed catching some bream and making use of the kayak and canoe. The scenery off the back was gorgeous. Beautiful fall colors! We appreciate places who accept pets! The cabin was nice. It definitely got chilly in the downstairs bedroom, but we used the heater that was provided and slept just fine. I will say that if you’re looking for a place that offers peace and quiet while sitting outside and enjoying your coffee, this isn’t the place. It’s located right off the main HWY. Traffic noise was awful. However, this location is ideal if you don’t want to be too secluded from town and all of it’s conveniences. It’s close to Pisgah National Forest which we thoroughly enjoyed! Ashley was very quick to respond to any messages I sent! Thank you for a nice (short, but sweet) weekend get-away from Summerville, SC.

Loved staying here! The pond out front was amazing. A little piece of heaven for me. Walk up fishing, then fishing before bed! Deer in the front yard and the house was awesome! Master bedroom was amazing! Will stay here again next time we are in the area!

We took our family for the weekend for my daughter's birthday and this property was beautiful! The pictures doesn't do it justice. When we pulled up there was a deer eating in the front yard. We spent most of our time on the huge back deck and paddle boat. The inside was so clean and nice. Plenty of blankets and pillows. My husband loved the grills. Thank you for the use of your beautiful house!

Great property, if you like to fish just step outside, great view from huge back deck, the location can’t be any better just a short drive from Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest.

Didn’t get to stay in the property this time as there was miscommunication to access code. Worked with the owner to resolve issue quickly. Have stayed in the property before and everything was good.

Close to many hiking sites and that’s what we were most interested in. Ample kitchen items for all our needs and comfortable space for everyone.

Ashley attempted to be accommodating with a couple of issues that arose. We never did have wifi. That's okay because we were really there to fish. There weren't any fish either. Way overpriced for what we got. The pond and lake are cute.

Had a great visit, could not of asked for anything more. It's hard to find a property that allows dogs and smoking outside with a grill and a gorgeous view.

This was a beautiful cabin. I rented in November, but I can only imagine what it looks like during the summer! Definitely would rent again

It was a beautiful place and setting. My wife loved everything about it. I planned the trip as every year around fishing and water. The pond and lake were not well the best. I will not down grade my stay because of it. I fished and sat in the sun., my peace time. As a disabled veteran, unloading and loading car from the bottom floor, and carrying up and down steps was a problem. None of that takes away from our stay. We would plan another stay, just not plan it for fishing.

Located between Asheville and Brevard this cabin was perfect. The kids and I got some fishing in on the pond and the cabin was exactly what we needed.
We come to Asheville enough that I’ll definitely keep this place on our radar.

Pros: Beautiful property, great for 2 couples, excellent communication with manager, well stocked kitchen, easy access to many things, and, again BEAUTIFUL!!
Cons: Needs some maintenance and repair. Leak(s) from upstair shower leaks to downstairs laundry room and makes a mess on floor. Ceiling tile is badly damaged showing it's been there awhile. A couple small leaks in roof outside on porches.

The house sits beautifully between the lake and the pond and is in a perfect location for access to the Brevard, Asheville, or Hendersonville areas. It sets up really well for a family with kids or even two couples traveling together. The kitchen is well stocked too if you decide to cook.

Very comfortable and clean. The outside needs a little TLC but overall very nice. Had trouble finding the property as there was no number on the house or name of the actual road that it's on, after driving around for about 45 minutes called Ashley and she gave us step by step directions. Thanks Ashely!

This place was just what we needed. The property, lake, boats, deck were great and we spent a lot of time outside. There are a couple things that need work inside, but we didn’t go on vacation to stay inside. Our family would definitely stay here again!

This property was wonderful - the lake and pond provided fishing fun for our kids each evening. The house was very clean, provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

No complaints. Property was cute and functional. The ponds were a nice amenity but did make for lots of bugs at night! Overall we very much enjoyed our trip and would recommend and/or stay there again!

The small pond is literally off the lower porch and the lake is super close to the large pond off the front porch. I like the available seating areas on the front porch. We also enjoyed a fun time playing corn hole! Thanks for having it available.

We had a great time, but with the event center being next door, trash and others were "invited" to the property by passing groups and the gusty winds. Overall, our purpose for our trip was to be together, spend time making memories and fish our hearts out! Great spot, with a fantastic view and fishing accessibility. I would love to give this place a 5 star rating. The only reason I don't is due to it being listed a 3 bedroom and it is only a 2 bedroom. With that being said there was ample places for all to sleep with the two pullout couches.

We stayed because we were visiting family. The cottage and ponds were absolutely amazing. Easy and accommodating and a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
