This apartment was a perfect home base for me for a stay centered in Somerville. Clean, quiet, walkable. The 89 bus is minutes away and gets you to Davis Square easily and from there you can go anywhere.

Arriving was difficult because it is a very dark street and hard to read or even see the house numbers. The light at the door of the apartment is motion sensor so the light was off when I arrived and I couldn’t see where I was going. Had to call Claudia to find the door. The television had terrible reception and I could only watch maybe three or four channels regularly and they don’t pay for cable. Normally that is fine but the reception was terrible. Couldn’t even watch the Celtics game. Lots of stomping upstairs. At time it sounded like furniture was being dragged on the floor. It was loud and annoying during my stay. Found two centipedes in the bathroom the third day I was there. Made sure I wore slippers in the apartment. Lastly, need a car to get around to places to eat. Took a lot of Ubers. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location, adorable accommodations, and excellent hosts. I was in town visiting Boston and Salem with some friends and we couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Little bump in getting in unit, called owner and housekeeper came right over, unit very clean, well appointed, but not for tall or large people. Twin bed would have worked without footboard.

Great place to stay & convenient to downtown Boston.

Great location easy access to downtown with grocery store and eateries close by - was exactly what we were looking for. Owner provided very prompt and meaningful responses to all our enquires. We had a very relaxed and comfortable stay.

The property very small, especially the bathroom. The shower was the same size as one from a travel trailer. The beds were comfortable enough-that was nice. Communicating with the difficult. I had asked about good places to eat around the area and never heard from them. They did leave us some potato chips and tea bags though. Next time we’ll stay somewhere else.

Claudia was a super host and always available with extra items or transit directions. The location of the house is easy transit access and in a quiet neighbourhood. Thanks for a great Boston visit!

Very clean and quiet. Small basement apartment in a family type neighborhood. Was a good fit for me and my husband.

My daughter and I stayed here while I helped her move back in to Northeastern about 5 miles away. Claudia and Jim's small lower level flat was perfect for us as a home-base to get to and from campus quickly. Also, nicely within walking distance of Somerville restaurants and parks. Overall, very clean and quiet and Jim and Claudia were easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions we had. I would definitely consider staying here again under similar circumstances

This was the second time that we have stayed in this property. We were in town to help our son and daughter-in-law with child care for the week. They don't have the room for us in their home, so this was the perfect spot for us. It is a 15 minute walk between this property and our son's. My wife was able to nanny at their place while I stayed behind and worked remotely. The internet is good and the place, overall, is comfortable. The owners are very nice and accomodating.

This apartment was perfect for our stay. We did not need kitchen facilities (although we did take their recommendation and have breakfast at the Brazilian Pastry Shop down the street) and we paid a bit more for a roll-away bed in the living room for my sister. Very clean and comfortable. We used Lyft to get around the area.

Safe neighborhood and tidy apartment. We were pleased with the owner's communication. Perfect for our group of 3. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was cute and the location is in a quiet neighborhood. The walking distance to the subway to get to Freedom Trail is not that far away. There is a great little park near by with an amazing public swimming pool for your kids and there is an ice cream place not too far away either where you can grab a cone on your way back from you walk from the subway. Claudia and her husband were great hosts and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this little apartment because of the location and the history of the homes in the area. Some have been there since the 1800's. I could live there in that community!

Claudia and Tim are great hosts. I recommend this property to everyone.
