A newly updated and upgraded home in the heart of Mission Beach, located 50 steps to the sand with ocean views from the living room and master bedroom soaking tub, this vacation gem is all you need to escape the day to day and get in vacation mode! This home hosts 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, all with queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa located in the living room to accommodate your group. Vitamin Sea helps you seize the day with its location, modernized design, and even small details, like the outdoor shower to clean you off after your days at the beach. Enjoy the roof top deck for wonderful evenings with the cool San Diego ocean breeze! The home is equipped with A/C throughout the 1st and 2nd floor. The 3rd floor loft does not have A/C vents. Entering this property from the court you will find a spacious patio, two tables with seating for 8, and a propane BBQ grill. From the patio you're just four homes from the boardwalk where the best people watching can be found. On the patio, you can prepare the family meal and enjoy your summertime beverage while your guests come and go from the beach. On the ground floor the kitchen and dining area with seats for 8 are conveniently located, near the front courtyard area perfect for night caps! The galley kitchen is newly remodeled and fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, drip coffee maker, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils for your convenience. Also, the two-car garage has access into this floor. Heading to the second floor, you will find two queen bedrooms. The split bathroom offers two separate vanities, with a walk-in shower. Beautiful and convenient wet bar with wine fridge makes this second level complete with a large, vaulted ceiling living room with ocean views, a TV, and seating for a comfortable escape. The third level is true luxury with a queen bedroom and large open bathroom with barn doors. A grand soaking tub has an ocean view and large picture windows to relax by the moonlight. French doors open up to the large roof top patio. Relax in the comfort of the ocean breeze as you enjoy the serene sounds of waves. This property has everything you need to complete your vacation. There is also a washer/dryer and a half bath are located inside the garage. The garage can accommodate one vehicle, the dimensions are 6'4"Hx14'Wx17'D. Please make sure your vehicle will fit within this space. If your vehicle cannot fit you will be responsible for finding street parking, that can be tough during summer months with many beachgoers. This Mission Beach area is a perfect home base for all of your San Diego Adventures. Located approximately 3 miles from Sea World, 8 miles from San Diego International Airport, 10 miles from San Diego Zoo, 10 miles from San Diego Downtown, Waterfront, 40 miles from Legoland, 63 miles from Temecula's Wine Country, and 95 miles from Disneyland. 7-Night Minimum with check in on Saturdays only June through August 4-Night Minimum during Holidays / 3-Night Minimum during Off Season This home is nonsmoking, including exteriors, but has Air Conditioning to keep you cool. This home also allows pets($225+tax)! This is a three story home and contains stairs. This may not be appropriate for all groups, so please be sure you are comfortable with this, before booking. Photo ID and Credit Card photo verification required to complete booking. We do not accept American Express and Discover. San Diego Vacation Rentals Cancellation Policy and Pet Fee Policy supersedes the policies of VRBO and AirBnb. A $300.00 cancellation fee will be added to the booking, if canceled before final payment is made 60 days prior to arrival. After final payment is made, there are NO REFUNDS. If you feel that this may cause an issue with your travel itinerary and availability, please consider Travel Insurance. Great location. Lots of beach equipment. Initial communication with management company was great, but did not receive check in information due to holiday weekend. So check in process was difficult. Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had everything we needed.

It was refreshing to find plenty of TP, coffee and coffee filters, and soaps for the kitchen. This was a super fun location right down from the beach, restaurants, and night life.

Location is the best feature of this house, there are some things to know before you go....
the garage is cluttered, and full of broken and unusable gear, the BBQ has never been cleaned, and has a large grease deposit on the ground, the outdoor furniture is usable, but that's it.
Inside - there are 2 box fans for the 3rd floor bedroom, these have never been cleaned - ever. it is true that there is a pull out sofa on the 2nd level, but there are no linens, there are however, a bunch of pillows and blankets and old bed spreads that are wadded up and stuffed in to a closet.
the top level bath has a vanity, a soaking tub (inexplicably), and a toilet, the second level bath has 2 vanities (very convenient), a nice shower and a toilet, the 3rd bath is a stall shower and a toilet located in the garage, not ideal, but totally usable.
The management company is adamant that the soap, dish soap etc... that is in the house is to get you started, you definitely need to hit Ralph's right away (this includes trash bags)
In addition, they started sending check out texts on Saturday for our Monday departure (thanks), but oddly leave you no instructions on what they would like you to do before leaving, I won't get in to the details here, but will say, we left the house better than we found it.
I would prefer staying in a rental that is run by a VRBO Host, and not a management company - their fees are pretty steep, for what we did before leaving, they owe us a refund.

We had 7 adults and 1 infant and we were all very comfortable. The house is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the front patio, enjoying the beach weather. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils to prepare meals at home . There are 3 levels so be prepared to use stairs. The 3rd level has no AC but we slept with doors open and was comfortable at night. The garage fit 2 small suvs very tightly. A Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. The garage was full of beach supplies and even a wagon to carry them.
We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again .

I cannot speak highly enough about how amazing the location is for this place. You are right in the middle of things which makes for access to all sorts of fun, great times. I highly recommend this place.

Overall, the property was good for our family of four (two teenagers) visiting from out of state. The furniture, bedding and kitchen were clean and there were plenty of beach toys and chairs for us to use. The neighborhood felt safe and had a great early morning vibe. It was easy for us to access the beach, shops and nearby eateries. We highly recommend La Playa Mexican Restaurant for bomb carne asada burritos! Property management was a little too aggressive and staunch in their reaction when I said we were visiting family for the holiday week. They were very demanding that we not allow more people than the house rules - even though I stated we would not be entertaining a party or dinner for the week - which felt a little like they have been burned in the past. We had a great time overall though as most visiting family members were looking to hang on the beach or ride bikes around the peninsula. The rooftop sitting area was awesome (we saw Sea World fireworks one night) and the furniture seemed fairly new. Only cautionary bits are - there is no front door key (so you always have to enter from the garage), there is no door on the third bedroom upstairs, and the carpet on the stairs is pretty dirty so removing shoes prior to using (as sign stated) wasn't cool.

Very nice location
Garage door stopped working and they had someone out in about 10 minutes to get it fixed for us - really great customer service even forwarded some mail for me. Beatutiful house right next to the beach.

Good location and clean home. Garage clearance is a little low, but we were able to get our 4Runner in with about 3” of space on top. The top room got a little warm but I reached out and they dropped off a box fan. We would stay again.

Definitely recommend this house!
The house was absolutely perfect for our Labor Day weekend stay with our 3 teenagers and 10yr old.
Super clean, beautiful, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and just a few steps from the boardwalk and beach. Loved they had a wine fridge!!! We made good use of that.
The management was extremely fast in responding to any questions and requests we had. When we asked for an extra blanket and a large pot to cook some pasta and serving spoons they were delivered within an hour! Yay!! Absolutely amazing customer service! Can’t say enough great things about the whole experience.

Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Very close to the beach. We had issues getting in but the management office was quick to help us even though it was after office hours and. We couldn’t get the AC unit to kick in, so we opened the windows and the house cooled down nicely. It wasn’t a warm enough week for us to need it.
