Great house. Very clean, tons of room for all to be together or not.
Rained everyday🙁, but the area has so much besides skiing to do.
Would definitely stay again!

Property was perfect for the group in terms of bedrooms, play areas and dining space. Kids loved the hot tub.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the Jackson House. It was beautiful and well stocked with everything a family would need. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the linens were top notch. Scott, the owner, was very easy to contact. We are hoping to rent it again next year.

Great location. Plenty to do in the area. Loved the house.

We loved our stay at the Jackson House with our kids and grandkids. There is room for everyone. Ideal location away from the traffic of North Conway. Lots of rooms and bathrooms and the best kitchen, extremely well stocked to easily serve a group of 14. Really enjoyed the AC and the hot tub after hiking. Scott was helpful with recommendations for where to use our kayaks. For hikes with kids: Square Ledge, Black Cap and Rocky Gorge, all nearby. Jackson Falls, 1 mile away was fun, too.

Great house. We had 8 adults, 5 kids and 4 days of rain! The house was plenty big and everyone had a place to hide when we got on each other’s nerves. Lots of games in the house and a great lounge, pool table, plenty of TVs and a really nice bar area. Lots of beds and bathrooms too! Thanks again for your hospitality.

My family plus 5 other families for a total of 12 kids and 10 adults stayed for a long weekend. We had a great time. Plenty of space for all of us. Clean, quiet, and excellent spot for alpine or Nordic skiing. Small sledding hill that is great for pre-school ages.

House was well suited to our group, couple of families with little children and grandparents. Bedrooms with bathrooms was great, layout of first floor allowed for quiet talk areas, and areas of play. Kitchen is well laid out for a crowd open to the large sunny dining room with long table. Loved the outdoor space as well!

We rented the entire home for our family. My husband and me (mid 70's), two adult daughters and a son in law and two grand children ages 5 and 8. Everyone loved that we had so much room. The two living rooms allowed adults to read while others played with the kids. We did puzzles in the former "bar" area. The kitchen had everything we need. It is challenging to keep the first floor warm but the second floor bedrooms were very warm and had individual adjustments. Everything was clean and it is less than one mile to the center of Jackson. Perfect.

This property is very beautiful and has a lot of charm. The kitchen is amazing, the rooms are all cozy and there’s enough bathrooms for all! We had some issued when we were there and it look a little time to get in touch with the property manager. Likewise since it is not someone’s house it lacked tin foil, plastic wrap or any way to package leftovers as well as coffee pot filters, which are things often found in a rental property… especially one with a kitchen made for cooking like this one! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again!

We had 6 couples. Everyone had their own bedroom, lots of space to socialize.

Plenty of room for every one in our group. We loved all the sitting areas and the large table we could all eat together at.

We utilized the rental for a gathering for a fantasy football draft (really serious stuff)! The place was great, clean, plenty of rooms. Scott was accommodating and great to work with. Would highly recommend.

After receiving the rules, regulations and strict expectations for this property several times prior to our arrival, we were confused to find the state of the rental to be unacceptable.
Just to name a few issues:
A Bedroom/bathroom was not cleaned from the previous rental. My wife and I cleaned the linens and bathroom so our friends had somewhere to sleep.
A tick was found crawling in a bed in another room.
Several toe nail clippings were found on the arm of the couch.
The burner under the griddle on the stove was flickering in and out when we tried to use it (seems like a safety issue).
All of the lights in the kitchen were not functional when we arrived and we had to find and reset the breaker.
The pool table is essentially useless because it sits on such a slant.
All of these issues could have been somewhat alleviated if the homeowner had responded to us quickly. We called and emailed him and didn't receive a response for two days. At that point he told us his cleaner was on vacation and they hadn't found someone else to clean the property, which in turn told us the entire home hadn't been cleaned not just the single bed/bathroom. He told us he would refund our cleaning fee and asked if we wanted a cleaner to come to the property which was useless at that point because most of our friends had left and we had already cleaned the home ourselves.
Communication was severely lacking after we arrived. We still haven't received a credit for the cleaning fee or a follow up message regarding our stay. We had to contact VRBO directly in hopes they could get ahold of the homeowner to straighten this issue out, but we still have yet to hear anything. There are very strict and clear expectations in regards to noise/partying for those who choose to rent here which were extremely redundant. We are a respectful group and felt uncomfortable/worried to even have a fire outside at night. We understand the area is strict about rentals but we found it difficult to relax during our stay for all the reasons listed above.
The location is good and there is a fair amount of space for a large group.

We traveled with our six children, five of which are grown and two with young families (5 children under 3). The home was spacious enough for us all to spread out and have plenty of room to hang out. We didn’t do much cooking there just because we were out and about a lot, but the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. Ticks are very, very bad so be prepared for that if you are outside at the house. One morning during breakfast a Mama bear came through the backyard with two cubs, so that was very cool. All in all, it’s a great old house.

We had a very positive experience here! Lots of rooms, beds, bathrooms. Very clean. Good location. Plenty of parking. Our only complaints are that the kitchen is not very well stocked with pots, pans, good cutting boards or sharp knives. You may want to bring some of your own. The other challenge was that we couldn't get sound on the TV in the main living room, but we were just watching the Olympics, so it wasn't a huge problem. Also, we were asked to strip beds and start laundry, which is an unusual request for a VRBO rental, particularly when we're paying a cleaning fee. Overall, I highly recommend this house for a big group.

Lots of room love the fireplaces only concern was there were some drafty areas in the house. But overall great retreat

This property was spacious for our growing family and close to North Conway shopping centers. The property could use a little TLC around the edges. We were emailed the rules too many times that it became a nuisance. Once would suffice as we read the paperwork and honored the expectations.

Amazing home. Larger than expected. It was a special treat for our six couples enjoying the area for a friend's wedding.

This was a lovely home with plenty of space for large groups. We had beautiful weather and could use the yard as well. I highly recommend this property.

This property is excellent for large family getaways with pets. We had 12 adults and 3 children under 8. The multiple living rooms, kitchen and dining, plus the bedrooms and baths were more than adiquate.
The hot tub was used, the pool table was used, the fireplaces were used, the bar and dart room was used. Unfortunately it was rainy somwe never got a chance to use the fire pit or volleyball.
The location is perfect to go into North Conway for dinner / shopping or go to the Moat or Tuckerman’s Tavern. Very close to Storyland which we went to with the little ones. We all had a great time. Thank you to Scott who checked on us several times and addressed any concerns.

Our family which consisted of 8 adults and 6 children, ages 4-8, greatly enjoyed our rental of this house for our August vacation to the White Mountains, Santa's Village and Storyland. There were more than enough bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces for all of us and it was actually one of the most comfortable homes we have ever rented. The house was very clean which is one of our top priorities and we were happy to see that the owner keeps this property immaculate and in great shape. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner for all 14 of us each day. There was plenty of room for the kids to run around outside, the hot tub was greatly enjoyed and there were many places for everyone to relax after being out all day. The host, Scott, was very easy to work with. I needed to contact him with questions about the hot tub and trash and he responded within minutes. This is a very good rental, especially if you are a large group. We highly recommend renting this house and hope to come back again.

The house is HUGE and amazing. We wish we had more time there to truly enjoy all it had to offer. This place would be perfect for a family reunion or ski weekend with friends. Our only complaint is that there were so many 'rules' about what you could and couldn't do, that it made the stay a little less comfortable/relaxing. Overall though, I would highly recommend.

We just returned from our week in the White Mountains. We have been vacationing in the area for 25 years and have stayed in hotels, inns, and VRBO's. This was one of our best experiences. The house and property are kept immaculately. The owners offer real hospitality, providing things that we have not found in other rentals. We were pleasantly surprised to find basic spices and seasonings, paper towels, soap and shampoo, as well as a bundle of firewood both at the fire ring in the backyard as well as at the fire table. The kitchen is modern and there is no need to bring any cooking apparatus. Everything that you could wish for is there. I am not a fan of heat and humidity, and the air conditioning is as good as anything in my own home (and that's saying a lot!) You can see that the owners take this house very seriously, and there is real pride in ownership and their reputation. Don't think twice, book it!

The location was perfect for our group of 16; 10 Adults and 6 children (3-9). The house is huge with a private bathroom for each family and then some! The kids had a great time playing hide and seek in the house with so many rooms and closets. We had some wildlife visitors in the backyard during the early morning hours on a few occasions. The host, Scott, was extremely responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we had a couple small issues (loose bedframe, leaky shower fixture) that we were able to easily fix and we notified Scott who responded promptly. The only cleanliness complaint I had from our group was that some of the shower liners needed to be replaced, but otherwise everything else was up to standard for a rental property. We would definitely stay here again!

This property provided everything we were looking for. A large space for a group of friends to gather, cook, and celebrate life. We spent the weekend playing volleyball, lawn games, soaking in the hot tub and the property couldn't have been a better fit. I did have some suggestions which I shared with the owner and groundskeeper, but overall you are getting your moneys worth this this rental property. Everything was clean and messages to the owner were quickly answered. Thank you Scott! Looking forward to booking this property again or one of your many other beautiful options. Cheers,Kyle

We rented this unit for the weekend Friday through Sunday. The first night was extremely uncomfortable with the temperature in the house being in the high 80's and even hotter upstairs as the AC was not working at all. They only had 2 fans to share amongst 6 bedrooms. We reached out to the owner late Friday and heard back Saturday morning. The HVAC team came but not till late Saturday afternoon where most of us had little to no sleep the night before and with the temperatures in the 90's on Saturday it made it very uncomfortable. It took hours after the HVAC team left on Saturday for it to start to cool down on the first floor however the second floor was still extremely hot. The HVAC team came back a second time because the upstairs was still not cooling down, and unfortunately could not get cool air to pump through upstairs. As of Sunday when we left it was still very hot upstairs. The only way we had it cool down was to keep the doors open for upstairs and run a fan at the top of each stairs case to push cool air up. It also helped that it got dark out but there was absolutely no cool air coming out of those vents. We also couldn't get a cross breeze going downstairs because there were no screens in the sliders. We couldn't use the outside area, as the grasses were so tall that the dandelions were shedding everywhere and there were so many ticks in back yard. We had 2 of them on us while trying to sit outside. Then on Saturday the landscapers came late in the day which also removed any real use of the outside areas (volleyball area or fire pit area). We also read that the hot tub would have a film because of the water, but we had to physically clean the tub and it was over filled which meant no more than two people could use it at a time. There was also someone's bathing suit bottoms left on the side of the Jacuzzi. I was in contact with the owner throughout the weekend, he was confused by which location we were calling from as he had the same issues with another property that weekend involving the AC units. I suggest they remove the AC option from the list of amenities if it is not properly working. It maybe a great place to stay in the winter but if the weather is warm, without the ability to open windows and doors or having working AC’s I would not recommend staying here. For the price we paid to be there less than 42 hour, it was very disappointing.

This house was perfect for a large group of friends. The pictures and posting were accurate. There is plenty of space - lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and a large kitchen table/counter seating for all to fit together. The queen beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and the outdoor space was great as well. The house was very clean, just a few ladybug friends but we didn't mind! Definitely would recommend and stay again.

The house and location was perfect for our family get away to spend time together. We loved the wood burning fireplace in the family room while playing pool. The man cave was a great place also to play darts and card games around the large table. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of skiiing. Lots of space in this house and the bedrooms with gas fireplaces were cozy. Scott was very responsive and easy to contact. We had a great time at the Jackson house.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful house for a weekend of skiing and snowtubing. Everyone loved the place. There is so much room and we all felt like we had plenty of space. The large dining room table was perfect for family meals and conversation. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place in the Jackson area.
