Deborah was great - very responsive and helpful when the weather took a nasty turn. We loved the house and it’s location - it was perfect for my daughter and I.

I cannot tell you how much we needed this. After 12 hours on the road (headed from Texas to Maryland) with a dog and cat in the car, we would have been glad just to have a little space to ourselves. But we were overwhelmed by how comfortable this Franklin home felt after an exhausting first leg of our 1,400 mile road trip. Spotless house, every room is more spacious and cozy than we could ask for, and our dog loves the big, fenced-in backyard. Not to mention wine, snacks, and a handwritten note from our host waiting for us when we arrived. I don’t know if we’ll need to make this drive again, but this is the only place we’ll stay along the way.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for the holidays. Deborah was an awesome hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is convenient to downtown and everything we wanted to do. We would love to stay here again next time we are visiting!

Given the nice weather, we were able to walk to downtown Franklin on Black Friday.
The yard was ideal for the dogs. Deborah was on top of things. She had lights on so the house looked cozy when we arrived. All in all, a great place!

Such a cute house! Very close to town, we were able to walk in every day, walked to some historical sites and restaurants. It had everything we needed. The bathrooms on each bedroom are huge and the beds were comfortable. The house was actually decorated and felt like a home. Check in was super easy and Deborah checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely staying here again.

This charming house is welcoming and cozy. My sister and I had never been to Franklin and it was the perfect location. The furnishings are comfortable, especially the beds! We found everything we needed in the kitchen and loved starting our days here.

You will enjoy your stay in this special home that offers an updated front house, with a modern added on second section. The living room is cozy, and welcoming, as are the kitchen and bedrooms. The back of the home is a nice surprise with two large modern bathrooms and large tiled showers. The owner has delightfully thought of everything a visitor could need from plenty of paper products to games and a good book collection. Pets are made extra welcome with towels just for them, and even a ball. Deborah is extremely helpful and quickly available via text or phone. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Deborah’s quaint and cozy house! My husband and our two small dogs spent the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the house, neighborhood and all the thoughtful details provided by our host. The house had all the amenities and more! Yummy coffee, comfy beds and tons of linens (for human and dog alike!) we would definitely stay here again!

Small home which was as advertised and was well stocked for weekend getaway. Short walk to some historic sites and restaurants but drove to town for shops and restaurants and found easy on street and parking in the free garages. Host sent friendly messages and left a nice note but we had no reason to need to contact her otherwise.

This property creates the southern atmosphere from the white picket fence to blue door. The screened porch was great to have our coffee on. The backyard and deck was perfect size for evenings to chill and laugh. Loved the split floor plan and oversized bathroom each room had. Not a short walk to downtown but a short drive. We found parking very easy and restaurants plentiful. Deborah was a great hostess and stayed in contact through out our stay. We recommend this sweet house.

This house was perfect. We could walk to multiple historic sites and battlefields. We also walked to downtown Franklin where we shopped and found plenty of places to eat. The screened in porch was perfect for my morning coffee. The fact both bedrooms have their own bathroom would make this perfect for two couples. The owner provided additional tourist information and was easily accessible. I would stay here again.

This property was as described and more! Loved the location—a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to downtown. There was everything we could possibly need for our week’s stay. Deborah was easily accessible to answer all of our questions and very accommodating. We were thrilled to find such a nice, clean place that accepted our dog. We hope to return again!

This home was a perfect stay for me, my husband, daughter and two dogs. We arrived to find a surprise bunch of tulips for Mothers Day with a beautiful note from Deborah. The fenced backyard was perfect for our two small pups. The house even has a coffee bar area stocked with coffee, creamer and sugar. Chocolate bites were left for us and waters in the fridge. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We walked to dinner in downtown Franklin (only a 20 mins walk). Deborah was extremely communicative and accommodating to allow us a late check out Sunday too! I absolutely recommend this place to visitors to Franklin!

Enjoyed our stay in Franklin with another couple. When we walked in the door there was a vase full of fresh yellow tulips, which was a nice welcoming touch. Deborah was very responsive with any questions we had. The house was very clean with comfy beds. Its located on a dead end street so it was quiet for being in the city. We did not do any cooking at the house as there are so many great restaurants in Franklin. There is a book with suggestions of places to eat and visit while in Franklin. Thank you Deborah for sharing your home with us.

We loved our stay at Battlefield Cottage! From the moment we walked through the front door we felt right at home. The cottage was spotless! Clean and cozy with loads of amenities, even down to dog crates, pee pads and towels ( we didn’t bring the pups this time, but it’s nice to know that for the next trip they are more than welcome.) Deborah was great…she answered all of my questions promptly and was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and nearby attractions. The binder on the coffee table was filled with so much info that I scanned each page and have them saved. We hated leaving and will most certainly be back on one of our next visits to the Nashville/Franklin area. Thank you for everything Deborah… you are an A+host!

This tiny home is darling and just perfect for a quick trip to Franklin! Deborah is a very gracious hostess and we felt like we were being welcomed into a friend's home. Our Mini Aussie loved the backyard. I loved being just minutes from downtown Franklin and the easy interstate access for popping up to Nashville. The house is almost right off a main street, so there can be heavy traffic/lots of sirens during the day, but I didn't notice any road noise at night. During our stay (Jan 2023), the homes next door and across the street were under construction, so there was a lot of noise through working hours, which put our toddler's afternoon nap in jeopardy. But the crews didn't start too early or go too late, and were friendly. Overall, the convenience, coziness, and hospitality would totally incline us to stay here again!

My father and I stayed in this lovely cottage over the Christmas holiday. It could not have been a better experience. The cottage is absolutely delightful and had been beautifully decorated for the holidays. The cottage is warm and inviting with every amenity, including very comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Deborah was very welcoming and responsive to messages. We both thoroughly enjoyed staying in the cottage and look forward to our next visit.

This was a lovely neighborhood to explore the area. The house was perfect to share with our adult children, private for them as well as us. We all felt right at home because of all the thoughtful niceties Deborah had waiting for us. Her communication was very professional and friendly. Her recommendations were outstanding as well. Very pleased with our choice to stay there.

The owner was SUPER friendly and communicative. The home was extremely dog friendly, she even had a baby gate that was super helpful for when the pups were eating! The backyard was great, it rained the whole time we were there so we didnt get much use out of it but the dogs loved it! Deborah even stocked the fridge a bit with some local beer, wine, and bottled water. She really thought of everything and it meant so much! There were plenty of cozy blankets for movie nights and the showers were awesome. 5 stars for the entire property and 10 stars to Deborah herself!
