fantastic place to stay and staff were lovely

the room was immaculate and in an ideal location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

very pleasant save for the intermittent supply of hot water

location

the unpredictable nature of the hot water. on 5 out of 7 days there was either no hot water or we had to wait for some to heat up. I’m to old for cold showers

The studio was lovely, very nicely done with a lovely big balcony. Position was perfect for us although there was abit of night time noise from local bars.

the rooms are very large beautiful simple layout clean modern fresh decor. comfy beds large balcony. very quiet soundproof , you would not know these apartments were here from the main road very very quiet around pool area. they are a little gem. we will be back , elianna on bar has great sense of humour bar prices are very good compared to other places with pools. the cleaner does very good job works hard. lovely walk in showers and we'll equipped kitchen for Greece had microwave. the food at bar lovely too good portion and baguette sandwich lush . the owners are lovely any problems they sort out and own shop next door.

the pool itself is very deep the whole length I'm 5f7 so my head still above when in pool anyone shorter would not be able to touch floor. the other problem is the steps to get in and out are very short, trying to get out very hard getting leg up that high to then pull yourself up. Great spot in Stalis!

Room was spacious and clean! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great location in Stalis!! Would definitely come again!

Nothing to note but book superior room if you wish to have the rooms as shown on the website.

Really nice stay

Nice pool and secluded from main street, supermarket directly in front and very nice people

You didn’t know which apartment you get and you always have to close the curtains because people at the pool could see inside the room.

Location. Mario is obviously doing his job 😉

We loved almost everything, the staff and their hospitality is very nice, however we had 1 superior room and that room had two single bads put together and the mattresses was very soft . We also had 1 standard room and that room had a very good double matress but we could not hang up the shower head. Superior rooms are in the building with the balconies facing the pool with glass bannister so there is no privacy by the pool but the standard rooms had more privacy on the balconies however, those were shared. So both rooms had their pros and cons.

Comfortable bed with plump pillows. Nice soft towels. Good shower.

Very minor, but a holder on the wall for having a stand up shower without needing to hold the shower head.

A very modern hotel compared to other hotels. Good facilities, very decent Wifi, awesome pool area.

Very cozy and quiet hotel. Nice, clean pool, lovely pool area. The rooms are newly furnished, and felt very modern compared to other hotels in Crete. Big shower, hot water was never an issue (unlike in some other hotels). A microwave was a nice addition, which let us heat up some pastries from the near by supermarket (which is like 50m from the hotel and is owned by the hotel owners). Staff was very polite and friendly. A huge balcony where you can chill in the evening shade and drink some local wine! Will definitely return!

We like to sleep in, but some mornings there was some construction noise, which is understandable, because they were still making the pool bar. It's probably done by now and shouldn't be an issue.

Del Mar in Stalis, a brilliantly placed hotel to relax but with immediate access to everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The building we were in, containing only superior suites, was very new and extremely comfortable. Any little concerns we raised, were immediately addressed by Deppy and the staff at Del Mar. Combined with the Greek hospitality, we would definitely recommend this to adults, looking to relax in a quieter area but with immediate access to anything you could ask for, including a sandy beach, lovely restaurants, pubs, a supermarket and great transport links. For an authentic Cretan beach holiday experience, we recommend turning left from the hotel rather than right as that area has been taken over by the Cactus Bay Resort hotels. The pool was great for a morning swim before a day at the beach. If you prefer to stay in the hotel, which has a small but perfectly formed pool, then the wonderful Iliana will look after you at the pool bar. We look forward to our next visit.

Nothing to dislike in our opinion. There's always something, which may not be to someone's liking but the staff at Del Mar will always try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved it.

Excellent hotel/appartment with the sweetest staff

Excellent staff and facilities. Nice music at the pool with a very relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are very well isolated ( for both sound and temperature ). Very good air conditioning and a pretty complete kitchen ( just bring your own kitching towel ). Very very good stay.

No complaints at all.

A wonderful stay

The service was wonderful, they will do everything they can do to make you happy. Also they own a supermarket next door, open late which is very convenient. We had a very lovely stay :-)

Superb

It’s modern, has a nice interior design. The location in great - just in the middle of everything by foot but also hidden in a nook from the Main Street. It was clean and cleaned regularly. When we asked for extra towels and a blanket we got it asap. The view from the pool side in the night was really beautiful also. The host and staff were weary friendly, nice and helpful and it was convenient that they are by the shop just down on the Main Street. It was peaceful and quiet and we felt safe there! Looks like pictures(just have this random one I sent to me fam) so I highly recommend!!

Honestly nothing nothing major to bring out because it was wonderful!! There could have been a couple of more glasses, etc in the kitchen and also dish washing soap and a sponge plus a kitchen towel and also a safe for valuables - missed these things.

The apartment was ideal, right in the middle of Stalis, it had fridge kettle and a stove for cooking. Depp was very helpfu we enjoyed our stay.

Brilliantly located super comfortable place to stay

Just enjoyed a really lovely stay at this hotel - friendly and helpful staff and apartments which were fantastically well-appointed. Really comfortable beds and bedding, great toiletries, a lovely terrace, necessary kitchen facilities - every detail has been thought out. The location is brilliant - supermarket right by the hotel, beautiful beach within 2 minutes, many sights are within easy walking distance and there are loads of restaurants, taverns and nice beach bars close-by. Highly recommend - and I have special thanks to Deppy, she is wonderful, responsive and always ready to help, truly goes above and beyond. When I come back to Stalis, I stay only in this hotel.

Exceptional

We enjoyed our stay at Del Mar apartments in Stalis a lot. We liked everything : the rooms, the view, the sea. The owners are extremely helpful. Very special thanks to Despina whose advice made our holidays unforgettable. We did a lot of sightseengs and want to come back to Stalis back. The apartments are in a beautiful , peaceful area with many nice beaches, tavernas, shops. The kitchen is well- equiped, I'd definitely to recommend to stay in these apartments.

Amazing

These apartments are very central and the bars and restaurants are in abundance everywhere you turn. The beach is 150 yards

The del mar apartments are excellent I stayed in a superior studio and it has everything you need, lovely view over the pool area , the pool was very clean and relaxed. The room was cleaned everyday to great standard I couldn't fault it. Deppy the owner was a brilliant host nothing was too much trouble for her, there is a supermarket on the doorstep owned by deppy it has everything you could possibly need and very cheap.

A fabulous vacation!

Guys, this is the best apartments in Crete! Spacious room, very comfortable beds, kitchen, beautiful dishes. The interior is perfect. Very modern, stylish. There is everything you need. Huge terrace! We have lived here for a month and did not want to leave. We felt like home, only even better - after all, the sea was nearby. Which, by the way, can be seen from the balcony and is only 1 min walking. Everything on the territory is very well-groomed, beautiful, there are sunbeds, the swimming pool. Separately, I would like to thank the owners - Deppy and her family. Wonderful people, very welcoming, always ready to help, for anything you can just ask. We will definitely live here if we come to Crete. A fabulous vacation! :))

Amazing hosting at a minimum price! The principal is lovely, whatever you ask for quickly will bring and always with a smile. There is a super near .. very convenient. Clean and accessible to everything. We had a lot of fun.
