Beautiful house!

Paula is an amazing host, we loved the house and it was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. So many extra little touches that you don’t normally get with self catering. Very impressed. Noticed previous comments about the tram, but it wasn’t a problem for us and it lasts seconds.

Location

Rented as a loft but cellar with 2 little windows given on street level, very humid , repainted with painting coming out. Not healthy and for sure no loft as pictured. Trein noise every hour .expensive compare with hotel near by with swimmingpool.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the exquisite interior, perfect location, unmatched comfort, impeccable cleanliness, and above all, the exceptional service provided by our host, Paula. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of amazing. Paula had thought of every detail to make our stay truly memorable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, adorned with an abundance of pillows, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The house was stocked with a generous supply of utilities, soaps and cleaning products. We were even pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped laundry area, complete with a washing machine, detergents, and a drying rack. It was evident that no effort was spared to ensure our comfort and convenience. Communication with Paula was a breeze, as she was always prompt and helpful in addressing any inquiries we had. Her dedication to making our stay enjoyable was evident in her warm and friendly demeanor. We were truly touched when Paula surprised us with a basket of freshly picked oranges and fruits from her own garden. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcome and appreciated. The attention to detail and the level of service provided by Paula was unparalleled. It is rare to come across a host who genuinely cares about the well-being of their guests and goes the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction. Paula's genuine warmth and hospitality created an atmosphere that made us feel like we were staying at a friends house rather than in a rental property. We were so impressed by our experience that we have already made arrangements for a return visit. This hidden treasure is a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable and unforgettable stay. Great location but bit of a ‘dungeon’

The apartment is very unusual & very spacious.The decor was clean & the apartment was equipped with all the necessary essentials.Paula the host was very helpful & gave us a lot of good recommendations of where to eat & what to do.Was nice to have a complimentary bottle of red & tea & coffee in room.Location is very good within east walking distance of beach & old town.

I hadn’t realised that I had booked the basement apartment,I thought it was the property above.The basement is very old & so suffers from damp & needs de-humidifiers on when you are not there.I didn’t like the fact that there were no windows to look out of & really no place to sit out.

Love Altea

Beautiful apartment. Lovely decor. Superb communication with host,Paula. So kind and helpful. Apartment close to beach, felt in heart of community...so Spanish. Local bakery ..2 doors up. Great for fresh bread,rolls etc

great location for exploring Altea

the room we stayed in was similar to a cellar - it was lovely whitewashed walls and had been finished really nicely. it was located 5 minutes walk from the seafront of Altea and a 10 minute walk uphill to the old town. it was extremely well equipped and comfortable with lots of space

the windows are high up the walls near the ceiling and only at the front so you couldn’t actually see out of the room. there was only a tiny snug outside the front door if you wanted to sit outside. you can also hear the trains running underneath Altea - they don’t start until about 6.30 and finish at 11 and didn’t worry us as we were out a lot but hadn’t expected to hear them.

Fabulous little house right in centre of altea

Fantastic location right in the heart of the town . Beautiful town 2 minutes to shops restaurants and 5 minutes from beach. House was lovely everything we needed. Lovely court yard. great communication with Paula booked last minute travelled by tram from Alicante 3 euros. Paula got back to us immediately and we were delightedwith Casa Agua.

No air con in bedrooms only living room but plenty of fans

Lovely Apartment But Noisey Neighbours

Paula the host is wonderful and very helpfull. Altea is a lovely traditional little town.The apartment is quirky and in a pretty street with everything you need.

Paula the host was Absolutely brilliant. Very good info and tips. Lovely accommodation close to beach and great restaurants and bars. Only downside was the noise.

Beautiful apartment in beautiful Altea

Paula was an excellent host and greeted us on arrival. We stayed in the one bed apartment. The apartment was spotless with all facilities needed in place. Location is perfect for the beach, restaurants and up to the old town. Based on our experience I would highly recommend a stay at La Casa del Agua.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

the downstairs basement flat looking out onto the courtyard means it wasn't quite private space for either flat

This was one of the best places we've stayed at and made our holidays very special.

Loved the property, it is very well maintained and the owner has great taste. The area around is amazing, very close to the beach as well as the town centre. Lots to do both during the day and in the evenings. Can't wait to come back again. The owner was so helpful and always available if we had any questions. VERY highly recommended.

Car parking was a little challenging, the only thing I can say is it does get easier with time as you get used to where the best parking places are.

We would go back as host excellent, but would book the larger property that Paula has :-)

The owners communication was excellent, and would highly recommend this place to anybody, as Paula made the stay so easy. The property was close to the train station and beach, and also the property was clean and would highly recommend.
