We are always treated as family at Victoria’s Bed and Breakfast. They are very hands on with their guests ensuring that each guest has everything that he or she needs. I would very much highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit Puerto Galera.

Victoria and Johnny combine Swedish refinement and the best in Filipino hospitality.

We enjoyed playing billiards with staff, Barako coffee at breakfast, Swedish meatballs (special order!) for dinner, the hike in the hills, the short walk down quiet back alleys to the beach. Would stay there again, no questions.

Nice and friendly guest house with good location

Good location along the quiet side street, but just like one minute walk to the main road (center of the local village). Beach is close; like 6 minutes walk. Room was spacious, clean and nice. There was small patio outside the room. Breakfast was big and good. The owner Victoria spent time with the customers and took good care of them. There is roof terrace where you can play pool or just relax.

Victoria and the others where super kind. We where treated like family from the moment we arrived. No matter what you want to do the staff will help you to arrange it. A calm place just a few minutes walk from the beach.

a home ... far away from home.... shall stay here 100% again, when coming back!!

At first Victoria's Bed & Breakfast felt like visiting family... Victoria and Johnny take about their clients as family members. - it starts already before arriving, I was contacted and was helped to get the free QR-code (to visit the island) because already 'friendly' people would do this too ... for money (300 pesos) - taxi was already arranged to pick us up! - we received an upgrade from the room... a bigger one than booked. - breakfast was fresh prepared ... just ask and it was prepared. - if a taxi was needed ... it was arranged - tips for what to do and what to visit, where to eat ... and where not!! - and the hiking through the rainforrest, absolute loved it.. thnx Victoria!! For me it felt like a home far away from home (others already said this too, but it is true), for me it was the perfect stay during my stay at Puerto Galera.

Does it mean that everything is perfect... no just like home not everthing is 100% perfect... there is always something to wish for. For me a bit more softer bed (but maybe that is just my personal taste) or a little bigger bathroom would be nice.

Victoria and Johnny are wonderful hosts and made our stay a memorable experience. Victoria even took my wife on a early morning hike up the nearby mountain featuring waterfalls and streams. This she said was the highlight of her stay. Johnny makes traditional Swedish meatballs, top class cheeseburgers and omelettes.. He also rigged up standby WiFi when the local server failed. We will be back for sure.

A lovely welcoming place to call home for a bit

Victoria and every one at the Bed and Breakfast are making everything they can to make you feel welcome and at home. The B&B is clean and very comfortable. Moreover it is just minutes from the beach or the main road allowing anyone to enjoy pretty much everything there is to do nearby but avoiding the crowds and noise of the beachside resorts. This will remain one of my best travel experiences!

It was not the case as we were there, but I suspect it could potentially be a bit noisy whenever there is an event happening in the common areas. Even though, this might not be the noisiest place ever and all the positive aspects of the b&b make up for it anyway.

Exceptional stay at Puerto Galera

Exceptional stay at this property. If you’re looking to stay at a property that’s close enough to White Beach (5 minutes walk) and yet far enough to enjoy a quiet and relaxing ambiance, then this property is for you. The attention to detail by Victoria and her staff was superb. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome as if we’re part of their family. They also assisted us with any special requests. We highly recommend this property for all of your short or long terms stays at Puerto Galera.

Worth the value.

The owner is good, the lifestyle is simple here. The room is quite clean. She let us early check-in since the room is available. 5 mins walking distance to the beach.

The blanket is too thin. The toilet has some smell.

Ideal Filipino bed and breakfast with European comforts

The hosts Jan and Victoria made you feel welcome and at home. The staff Jessica and JR were attentive and supportive of every request. The rooftop living area had a nice open bar, pool tables and perfect mountain views to enjoy your morning coffee and a welcome chat. White beach is an easy and comfortable 3 minute walk away which we enjoyed. Tour guide Archie arranged your tour requests at the best price and with immediate and no hassle attention. Massages, manicures etc were responsive almost as immediate as your request. If you enjoy the intimacy of a truly Filipino bed and breakfast with the added touches of Jan’s European delicacies, coupled with the welcoming sincerity and passion this property has to offer, then you will really enjoy your stay here.

Big room and delicious breakfast

Very big room, very quite and the breakfast was so huge and super delicious. I love the owners of the resort, they are very sweet and kind. I like the rooftop, so comfy having our breakfast on that area with billiards.

a hidden gem in white beach

the room has always been clean and larger than other resorts in the area. It looks brandnew all the time. The hosts are always hands on in running the place and very approachable and warm with the guests.. The free breakfast is superb. The breakfast area at the rooftop has an amazing, incomparable mountain view.

the location is not beachfront although it is only a walk away from the beach.

Home from home!

A great place to stay. Victoria and Johnny look after you like a family friend. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent value for money and only 5 minutes walk to White Beach. Every morning you are presented with a wonderful cooked breakfast, with special dietary needs catered for. The upstairs balcony area is a great place to relax and play pool. Glad i stayed there and a special thanks to Victoria and Johnny.

Bathroom is a bit small.
