Wir hatten das Haus Nummer 38 in der durchaus größeren Ferienanlage, die architektonisch ein bißchen wie ein altes Dorf gestaltet ist, obwohl offensichtlich ziemlich neu erbaut. Blick auf die Düne und nur 3 Minuten zum traumhaften Strand sind schon Luxus. Die Einrichtung ist neu, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man sich im Urlaub wünscht, inklusive schöner großer Terrasse. Zum fast schon kitschigen Sonnenuntergang ein gekühltes Getränk mitnehmen, sich auf die Düne mit weißem feinen Sand setzen und den Surfern am schier endlosen Strand zusehen, das bleibt unvergeßlich. Ein kurzer Spaziergang und man erreicht das "Zentrum" vom Ferienort Biscarosse Plage mit etlichen Bars, Restaurants usw. Unser Hund war überall willkommen und hat den Urlaub offensichtlich - so wie wir - zu 100% genossen!

Anfang Oktober ist Nebensaison und deshalb das gastronomische Angebot ziemlich ausgedünnt. Dafür geht es aber sicher viel entspannter zu, als im Juli oder August.

Good quality apartment, well fitted out and near the beach

Very noisy neighbours, even though the complex wasn't anywhere near full. Party in nearby apartment until 4am, another family leaving at 1am with no consideration for others. Unable to access the apartment until 5pm - quite late in the day.

location, town, facilities ... everything was good

Wifi was horrible

- location is great, behind the dunes and close and easy walk to the beach - spacious 4 bedroom appartment, court yard with 2 umbrellas, good size table and chairs - outside architecture and exterior nicely done - parking was never a problem as for residence only - clean, washing machine, reasonable size fridge for 7 people - wheelchair friendly

- corner house No 27 was noisy during day and night with treepassers on the private Residence pathway and also party people walking in the street home at night from centre to camping ground or from the beach. Although it was a Residence pathway many figured out this was a short cut to the beach, passed our house/courtyard with little privacy - no BBQ (not even for hire), no oven (?!) - exorbitant cleaning fee of €175 at the end - 10 o'clock check out, no flexibility with a later check out, even if you leave the place clean & tidy - design and interiour of the house was very basic and on the cheap, nothing big but lots of little things (can't open cupboard doors and having the terrace door open at the same time), no loving touch, no comfy chairs or sofas for 7 people, except one 2-seater couch and plastic chairs outside - 4 pools in total but all not very inviting - we were 7 people with 4 teenagers (14, 15, 18, 18) and did not use any of the pools once, having a pool sounded more interesting than what it was - problem with water run off in 2nd bathroom downstairs - easy 10 minute walk into Biscarosse Plage to boulangerie and shops - otherwise did not bother going there in the evening as a bit busy, night market is nothing special, there are much nicer markets around - my teenagers missed the basketball field which was great 4 years ago with a full size court and a great atmosphere for the younger crowd, now there is only one basket and not very well lit
