Nothing— we could not stay, due to the extreme gradient access to the property, we are fit adults, but struggled to walk the access, on getting to to the property inside there was a dehumidifier permanently on, making an awful noise, which the owner asked us to empty every day, the towels were not fit for purpose … we decided we just could not stay… I feel that the description of the access in the details does not explain the seriousness of the gradient. There is no way we could have got our suitcase up the slope. The dehumidifier was not on the description of the property, we were told last minute by the owner, after we had booked and paid for the Holliday, under the circumstances I feel we should have full refund of the money we paid to yourselves

Lovely views of Barmouth beach.
The bedroom was extremely damp at night, even with the dehumidifier working non stop! It really affected my sleep and stay! Also the towels and the bedding were not in a nice condition, specially the sheets didn’t smell fresh! I just bought myself new bedding and towels…
The bath was dirty.

Very nice flat that had everything I needed for my stay.
The flat was up a very steep hill, which I was aware of and it wasn't a problem, apart from the fact there was no vehicular access so everything had to be taken up and down the hill.
I felt there should have been a proper shower unit in the flat, rather than an attachment that led from the bath taps. Due to the roof line in the bathroom it was difficult to use without banging your head and I thought it detracted from the otherwise very good facilities available.

The location was great, nice and quiet, stunning views, the apartment was clean and not a far walk from everything.

Food was provided on arrival at the apartment which was very welcome. There were amazing views from the window and it was very quiet.
The apartment is at the top of a VERY steep track . I had read that the road was steep but I hadn’t anticipated it to be so steep. Luckily I only had one small case to drag up. In fairness it only took a few minutes to walk up but it was hard work.

Location: up a very steep hill, which we knew about from the details given on the website. We're both keen walkers and very fit, but even we were surprised by it. We were carrying everything on our backs as we came by train, but those in a car with more stuff than they needed could be in for a shock. Great views, which is why we chose it, warm and comfortable. No noise from other apartments. Walking routes almost literally on the doorstep. Supermarkets in the town a short (steep!) step away and one decent pub, the Last Inn. Hosts had provided eggs, bread, beans, milk, cooking oil and tea/coffee, plus sweets (you need a glucose boost after that hill) so anyone arriving late could get a quick meal ready - very thoughtful. Apartment - attractively decorated and furnished, quite stylish, and a pleasant place to sit and watch the view.
There were books of local Barmouth walks in the apartment that were very helpful, but maybe a decent ordnance survey map and the odd local history book, if the owners were able to pick them up, would have been interesting to browse.
