Our self-catering, beach cottage sits at the end of the island allowing for amazing views of the ocean, the end of the island, the sound, and even a pond across the way! Fall asleep listening to the waves or the spring frogs from the pond. North Topsail's beaches are a seaside gem. You will find soft sand, shallow tidepools for exploring, shark's teeth or shells for collecting, and deliciously warm water in which to float for hours. FAMILIES will especially love our location as the beaches are less crowded and you can walk right around the tip of the island for all day tidal pools in which to explore and splash. PERFECT FOR THOSE who need an afternoon to sit by the water! Snatch up some fresh seafood at one of the local markets or restaurants! Our Home... The best way to make the most of your beach getaway! Don't get cramped in a hotel or tiny condo! Three large bedrooms plus a bonus game room downstairs will give you plenty of space. A fully stocked kitchen let's you eat at your leisure and make the most of your time at the beach. Beach access is down the street or diagonally across the street at the public access points (a few minutes walk) and since we are at the end of the island you can spread out and relax! The crowds from the condos or large public access sites will be further south. If you've never been to North Topsail you will fall in love. We hope you enjoy your visit! ******House details from OWNERS:****** We are located in the town of North Topsail Beach and the entire ocean side of the island is one beach. We are across the street from the beach, not a 15 minute walk or drive! 3 Bedrooms: - Master bedroom has a queen bed and attached, private bath with tub/shower - Second bedroom has a twin bed with twin trundle and attached, shared full bath with shower (no tub) - Third bedroom has a pyramid bunk (double on the bottom and twin on the top). This bedroom uses the shared, attached bathroom from the second bedroom noted above. This bathroom is just across the hall. There is the option to use the third, full bathroom downstairs (shower only, no tub). This house has pond and ocean VIEWS. It is not directly waterfront. The pond is across the street and the ocean is across the other street. There are no balconies directly from the bedrooms. The front of the house has a porch (covered deck) which is accessible from the front door in the living room. The back of the house has an open deck which is accessible from the back door at the end of the hallway. No bedrooms open up to or have doors to outside decks, balconies, or patios. Enjoyed the getaway.

We had a pleasant stay. Anything that was needed was already there. The basement was stocked with games and fun kid's activities.
It was easy to check in, and the host was always prompt in answering any questions I had.
Easy access to the beach is less than a 3-minute walk, you can see the beach from the porch.
Very happy with this rental. Would stay again.

We loved our stay! Such a great house in a great location! Was like staying beach front with the super short walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family and such a great beach layout. The natural surroundings with the ocean, new river inlet and spring pond were amazing. Better than beachfront! We will stay here again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Topsail. Everything was as described. The condo is in a great location with a beautiful dog friendly beach that was no crowded at all. We will be back :)

Better than expected! Pictures on line do not do this place justice - this place has been updated. VERY clean! Three bedrooms and two full baths on main level. Downstairs has a play room, another nice full bathroom and a washer and dryer. Kitchen was fully stocked (microwave, toaster, blender, coffee pot, crock pot, mixer, plenty of dishes and pans). Books, games, toys, and beach chairs were available. Excellent location! Beach was across the road and the sound was a short walk. We will definitely stay here again!

The house was good. Proximity to beach is great. Public access is very close. Read some other reviews ,mentioning the neighbor's dogs. They are barkers but they did try to minimize the issue. Overall our stay was good. Thank you

Love this property, the location is at the end of the island giving us a great route to walk around the northern edge of the island. The home is beautiful. It is on the corner with enough yard for our dogs to play in and so many windows letting in the beach atmosphere. It was very quiet and peaceful for us during our stay as there is hardly any through traffic. The home was totally stocked with everything you might need for a stay at the beach from coffee filters, to charcoal for the grill, to towels for your pets. I want to stay here again.

The house had only the bare essceials in kitchen.I looks like it was decorated from a thrift store.The linen's were not clean and were so thin you could see the material in the mattress.

The pictures don't do this place justice... the views are spectacular. The home is directly across the street from the ocean and a short walk to the public access.
The home is clean and had everything we needed for a week at the beach... towels, boogie boards, grill, games, movies, even basic spices! The kitchen had everything we needed, although we would have loved a full-size coffee pot and blender. We cooked our fresh catch from a morning of fishing on the Vonda Kay one night, made a sun catcher for the living room, napped, listened to music, watched movies, walked the beach and chatted with the neighbors.
We spent most of our time on the front porch, which was breezy, covered from the sun and had lots of seating options. It was a great spot to chill out with the dog after long days on the water.
Views of the ocean are magnificent, even though the house is across the street. I'd move here in a minute if I could. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be repeat customers!!

Had a great time w/very good views front front porch. The small basement not advertised was great for our dog kennel,etc & the grandkids enjoyed the game room.

We had a fantastic time at Topsail with our eight year old and doggo. The unit is clean and comfortable with lots of activities for kids. Ours loved the game room downstairs. The unit was also well stocked with all the beach stuff you could ask for--chairs, towels, tote bags, sandcastle toys, kites, and boogie boards. The kitchen has a lot of supplies too. We liked being on the quiter end of the island away from the condos and resorts. Our dog had plenty of yard to walk around (on leash) and she and the neighbor dogs barked a bit at each other but all quickly quited down. This is definitely a place where a family and pooch can kick back and relax. If we head Topsail way again, we will look to rebook.

Great location to the beach!
We had a wonderful vacation! Location to beach was closer than expected. Public access was just a short work down the street. Loved that the beach was not crowded at all. We appreciated that beach chairs were already at the house and we didn’t have to bring those along on our trip. We made use of the game room one evening when it was rainy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The only draw back was the very small 4 cup coffee maker was in desperate need of cleaning. The water tank was filthy. We opted to just buy a cheap 12 cup coffee maker at Dollar General. Other than that everything was perfect! We will definitely plan on coming back again in the next few years!

Relaxing
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owner was great! This is a home split into 2-units. The unit beside does have 3 dogs, who bark at passing people. But so do my dogs, so it didn’t bother us. Plus, as like we do, they put the dogs inside when they bark. Very short walk to the beach. We found a lot of shark teeth.

Nice getaway
I vacationed with my family which included 4 adults and one older teenager plus 2 dogs. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The neighbors’ dogs barked a bit but so did mine, and it certainly didn’t interfere with sleeping. The beach was beautiful and easy to get to. My son enjoyed surf fishing each morning and I loved sunbathing and beach combing. There were plenty of dishes and cook ware, but I would have liked a bigger coffee pot. Overall the place was wonderful!

I have to say this is a difficult review to write. I own a Abnb myself so I know how important positive reviews are.
I usually stay on the Southern end of the Island. I am looking to relocate and thought the North end would be worth experiencing .
First , the house was sweet . Tastefully decorated and the lay out was perfect for us. The bathrooms were all newly upgraded . You can tell they love their home. It was cleaned prior to our arrival but I am not sure with what . It had a strong chemical smell. Maybe it was exterminated ?!! I am highly allergic to chemicals and had a hard time breathing the first two days. AC didn’t work but it was April and the fresh air helped with the odor and my breathing .
The only big down fall was the “ neighbors “ on the other side of the duplex. They own their side. Many people live there and many Dogs! Now i had my fog with me but he is tr as trained to not bark in the house and on command. Their dogs bark excessively! I am a dog person but while on vacation with my Mom whom is recovering from a mastectomy it was NOT peaceful . The dogs barked at 4 AM until evening .It was really disrespectful . There was no getting away from their barking dogs nor their cigarette smoking.
We needed rest and It was not healing with the neighbors. They think they own the entire place.
For the house , it was great. The neighbors …. I would not go if you need to rest .
The duplex is not one in the photo.

I can’t express enough how wonderful this stay was. The ease of finding it and getting settled. The view and location were spot on! Super friendly neighborhood. We were worried about our dogs but there turned out to be a dog in just about every home around us which put us at ease. Beach was close enough we made multiple trips a day lol it was prefect. We did find a few sharks teeth. The home itself was spacious their were four adults one kid, two dogs. Everything you needed was there. Thank you so much to Eileen and Jack for sharing your beautiful relaxing place on the beach. We definitely plan to stay again ☀️🌊❤️

Great location and views. Lots of the usual things + where the rental really shines are the little additions that are not expected, but made for a wonderful trip. The kids loved using the plug-in flashlights that are also nightlights. The copious books and games available were great. Little things go a long way, and we had a great time in the rental.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was extremely clean and the bathrooms were newly updated. There wasn't a picture of the 3 bathrooms in the listing, so I thought they might be dated, but they were lovely.
The inside was bright, open, and relaxing. There is lots of counter space and plenty of cooking supplies in the kitchen.
I am a bit of a germaphobe, so we packed our own towels, sheets, and blankets, but if I ever went again, I wouldn't bother. The towels and sheets were obviously freshly cleaned.
FYI, one of the twin beds is a trundle bed. It probably said that somewhere but I didnt look closely enough. It was fine for us, just didn't expect it.
Our favorite place was the front porch where we sat for hours looking at the pond, Inlet, and ocean. When we got back from the beach and hosed off the dogs we would sit there in the breeze with them while they dried.
Speaking of the dogs, they loved their vacation! There were so many dogs in the neighborhood and dogs are allowed on the beach all the time.
We did bring 2 sofa covers because we were worried the "no furniture" rule would be a challenge for the dogs. After kicking both dogs off twice, they got the picture and didn't try again. You CAN teach old dogs new tricks :) . I was still glad for the covers though, because one of the sofas is totally white. It was nice that we didn't have to worry about that sofa with the cover on.
We appreciated how close the beach access is and what a unique setting North Topsail Island is.
One day there was a lot of rain and a tiny bit came into the "basement" under the door. I wanted to let the property manager know to look at that in the future. She immediately replied to my text, so I have no doubt that if someone had a problem they would have help right away.
We don't have young kids but there was a nice play area downstairs near the laundry area with fun toys and they had books and games in a closet. I chose a romance novel to read on the beach.
I will look back fondly at this trip. No complaints here!!! Thank you for having us.

As said in the title, everything is as described in the property details. I’ll add the size of the property is great to accommodate comfortably a group of 6 people and all in one level.
The house is kept in pretty good condition, it was clean and welcoming.
Except the kitchen, everything has been updated in the house.
My family and I definitely will come back for a longer stay, when visiting North Topsail.
