We had a great 4 night stay! The location and access to slopes can’t be beat. And communication with the host, Deb, was fabulous. We appreciated that the house was well stocked things like hand soap, detergent, etc. Would definitely stay again!

Nice get away from the DC area for a NYE trip. Wish there had been more snow and more trails open but this is a great location, easy access, wonderful sunsets! Will rent again in the future and enjoy the easy ski in/out access. Thank you!

Great location. Lots of room. We loved the hot tub. It was a great retreat after a much needed break. I felt like it was a writers retreat. I got to clear a lot of thoughts and the place had everything we needed.

Our family enjoyed the comfort of the home, warm gas fireplace, deck hot tub, surrounding neighborhood. Even without snow and skiing opportunity due to weather, enjoyed the area around Wintergreen.

We came up for a long weekend to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday. The house is well equipped and looked just as pictured. The owner reached out to make sure all was well and was prompt to handle one small issue we had. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large dining table was great for playing games. The beds are comfortable too. We skied one day and it was nice to be able to walk to the house for lunch since it it right off the slopes. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property with a family of five - mom and dad plus two teenagers and a 9-year old. The sleeping set-up provided a separate bed for all 3 kids, which they appreciated! Skiers can’t beat the house’s location, which is at the top of a blue/Intermediate slope - Eagle’s Swoop. You simply cross the culdesac on foot to enter the slope. Note that beginning or cautious skiers would need to drive by car down to the green/Beginner main slope area.
We appreciated the full kitchen and upscale gas stove and took advantage of this to cook often. There are limited dining options at Wintergreen, so we like to bring groceries. (There are also groceries available at a premium price in the small market on property.).
The outdoor hot tub is a nice added amenity, and you can even glimpse skiers go by at a distance from one side of the tub. We recommend this property for a family of 5-6 seeking a cozy winter getaway!
PS - Be sure to snow tube on The Plunge!! No skiing experience required. We had no idea how much we would love this; it was thrilling and FAST!! Made mom feel like a kid again.

We had a really nice weekend away and the property was super cozy and well organized. Our boys loved the toy story loft room, and all the beds were very comfortable. The location is ideal for families who love to ski and we would definitely love to come back again! Thanks so much Deb!!

There were 6 of us and plenty of room and outdoor space. Stayed in August. It was very quiet and the views were amazing! Amenities were provided. We enjoyed the hot tub. The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the AC. We had a wonderful time.
Just FYI for those wanting to enjoy the cider/wineries/breweries- check the hours first and most closed by 8.

great mountain getaway
We enjoyed a family getaway in the summer. Property was clean, appliances are up to date. There is a grill and a hot tub that are nice. The only negative thing I'd say is the value is probably greater in the winter, which is when Id recommend to rent this ski in/ski out property.

We just wanted to go somewhere beautiful and by chance landed here. We had a lovely time. The house is cozy, clean and has everything you need. Fireworks from the resort where visible just steps away at the top of a ski hill.

The check in process was a little delayed because we didn’t get instructions on how to check in, but that was immediately taken care of upon a phone call. The cabins were well stocked with everyday items that are needed to feel at home. The host even left us a Christmas treat box filled with goodies. It really felt like home during our stay.
