We had an amazing stay. The rooms is perfectly clean, nicely furnished and our hosts were really nice. You can drink the tap water I honestly think one should stay longer than 3 days just to enjoy the calm and nice environment in Melnik

Amazing place to stay with a great view of the town. Margarita and her family were so welcoming and helpful (gave us information for the buses and sorted us a lift to Sandanski bus station). Breakfast was great and the room was immaculately clean. We loved our hike to Rozhen Monestary, visit to Melnik Winery (thanks Ilya for the lift back) and dinners at Mencheva Kashta Tavern.

This place was fabulous! There are only 5 rooms and ours was spotlessly clean with enough space and a wonderful view. The bed was the best we have slept on this trip. The owner and her family were very helpful and fluent English speakers. The breakfast was wonderful. There's a lot to see and do around Melnik and we wish we had booked for longer.

There's a bit of a steep walk to the hotel but it's not long.

It's a new and well maintained house, with a more modern interpretation of a rustic look. The location is pretty much at the end of Melnik, and while requiring 1-2 more minutes of walking uphill, is well worth it, as you get a view over most of the city. This also puts it a bit further from the main street where the restaurants, people and mild music are, giving you extra peace and quiet. The hostess was wonderful. She was very friendly, sharing interesting facts about local ruins, restaurants to go to, tips on the hike trail to Rozhen monastery and generally treated us like extended family.

We stayed there for one night, but I wish were more. The place it was so clean, the owner is very kind woman, who will advise you from what you need. The breakfast was delicious and made at the moment. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Manoleva house. The entire Manoleva family were warm, super attentive and helpful, always made sure we had everything we need. The house is amazing - beautiful view, spacious room, decorated with taste and little details. The rooms were super clean and had all necessary amenities. The breakfast was amazing - super delicious and in large quantities.

Manoleva House is located in a quiet area on a hillside overlooking the town and the Melnik pyramids. Despite its location, it is very accessible and is within easy walking distance of a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. The property itself is substantial and impressive and sits beside the nineteenth century Kordopulova House which is now a museum. We occupied a first floor room at the front of the house with plenty of light and spectacular views across the rooftops. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished, with an en suite bathroom that was finished to the same high standard. Although the room lacked a balcony, we were able to use the extensive raised terrace at the front of the house to relax with a beer, sunbath and read or just to enjoy the views and the company of other residents. Alfresco breakfast was served on this same terrace - always a memorable and pleasurable experience with juice, coffee, fruit, bread, pastries and hot food freshly cooked to order. Breakfast was so substantial that it lasted us until dinner in the evening! The service was friendly, attentive and efficient, provided by the incomparable Margarita and her equally wonderful family. Indeed, we were treated like members of the family and the warmth, generosity and kindness of our hosts left us humbled and reluctant to leave at the end of our 3 nights' stay. Overall, we had a superlative time at Manoleva House and would highly recommend this property to others.
