It has a particularly vibrant arts and music scene, and is sought after for its proximity to UW Milwaukee, the Milwaukee River, and downtown. This unit was completely renovated recently, including a completely remodeled kitchen and bathroom, and contains many vintage furnishings. There is a private front entrance for this unit, and there is a garage space and one off-street surface parking space available for your use during your stay. There is also ample street parking available in front of this property. This apartment has a completely open concept layout, the kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, there is a dining area that seats up to 6 people, and there is a large screen TV in the living room. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds. Enjoy cable and WiFi during your stay, or use the vintage stereo to stream music. There is a basement laundry room with free access to a washer and dryer. Spend some time on the private balcony, that is furnished with vintage patio furniture, if weather permits. Although completely updated, this is a two family property that was built at the turn of the twentieth century & the sound barrier is not perfect. You may be able to hear the people or pets in the lower unit or in neighboring properties from time to time, and they may be able to hear you. Thanks for being courteous to the neighbors! Riverwest is diverse, features great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, public transportation, parks, the Milwaukee River Greenway - all within walking distance or a short drive. This property location is: * 8 blocks from the Brady St. entertainment district * 1 mile from the Oriental Theater - home of the Milwaukee Film Festival - and other entertainment options on the East Side. * 2 miles from downtown Milwaukee and Fiserv Forum * 1.5 miles (6 min by car) from the University of WI - Milwaukee * 1.5 miles from Lake Michigan The kitchen has all you need to cook, and grocery shopping is 3 blocks away. Guest access You will have access to the upper apartment in a 2 unit building, laundry room in basement, private balcony and 1 parking space in the garage. Guest interaction There is a lock box for easy access upon your arrival. There will be an information booklet giving you some additional information to navigate the neighborhood, but I am available at any time to help with logistics and to make your stay an easy one. Getting around This property is just 1.5 miles from I43. Located right on the #14 bus line which makes it a short, easy trip by public transport to downtown. And of course there is ample access for various ride sharing services.

Had a great weekend in Milwaukee and the apartment was exactly as advertised. Clean, great location, easy parking, helpful host. Plenty of room for our family. Would stay here again.

We were looking for a property that was fairly close to our daughter in Brewer's Hill and chose this one (we needed a dog-free place for sleeping). While it wasn't within walking distance, it was just a short drive to get there. The apartment is very spacious and decorated with modern Vintage pieces that were fun to enjoy - plenty of seating. The apartment was super clean and well equipped with all we needed for our stay. The pictures of the property are accurate. We did not cook or eat there, but the kitchen is fully equipped (gas range, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and super deep sink) and with the beautiful large table, it would have been easy to do. There is a parking pad and one garage spot in the double garage (we just used the parking pad) off the alley. Keyless entry and well lit interior and exterior made it easy to access the building. We would stay there again and can recommend this property for others.

We had a very nice stay at this property. Having the parking pad available in the back was great given the construction on the street out front. The place was clean and spacious. You can feel good about booking this property.

The property location was perfect for us, it was roomy and kitchen was big. The couch and chairs were comfy. It was so nice to have a garage to park in. The only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is because the bed was so uncomfortable. We are elderly, so it's probably ok for younger people. I suggest having a mattress topper available in the closet for those who need it.

Nice location for access to Downtown, Brady street, and shopping ( Whole Foods).. Good off street parking. Nice neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped. Good bedding, heat, hot water, internet speed and WIFI. Could use some decorating such as pictures and posters.

We had a great experience! The property was clean, spacious, and located in a great spot. It was easy to walk and/or Uber to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Karen was very attentive and the response time was quick. 10/10 would stay again!

Great place for a working vacation. Was in town to visit family and friends while also working. Good wifi made it easy to work.. Loved the easy access to the Oak Leaf Trail and enjoyed going out for food and drinks in Riverwest. Appreciated being able to park in the garage. It's small and you share it with the downstairs tenant so best to not have a large vehicle.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay while we visited our daughter who attends school at Marquette. The location was perfect. The house was clean while simply yet tastefully decorated. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and grocery store within walking distance. The lake and opportunities to hike along many park trails was a highlight. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Perfect for a long weekend with friends. Nice kitchen and patio with grill. Prompt responses from the owner and no issues. Within short driving or longer walking distance of downtown. Note that it is an upstairs unit with no elevator, so everyone must be able to manage stairs.

We came to town for the RV Show at the Fairgrounds. We enjoyed our stay at the apartment which was as described in the listing. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The grocery store was within walking distance. Communication with Karen was Awesome. We would stay again.

I had to make a last minute trip to Milwaukee for a family emergency. Karen quickly responded to my questions and made everything very easy for me. Her place is perfect. You can go for a walk or a run along the river, go to coffee, restaurants or get groceries all by foot. I will absolutely stay there again.

Clean property. It is on the 2nd floor of a 2 flat. We used the garage for parking, but there was plenty of street parking as well. The outdoor balcony was nice in the mornings. It would have been nice if the office was another small bedroom, but there were extra blankets/pillows for sleeping on the futon/couch. There was a 24 hour bike racing going on during our stay, so the neighborhood was lively and exciting to be around and its an easy uber ride into downtown.
