About this standard cabin rental
Nestled in Healy, this lovely standard cabin for R 5,613 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our little cabin is nestled among the trees but not far from all the conveniences of town. Located 13 miles north of the Denali National Park entrance and only 2 miles from the grocery store, local restaurants, bank and gas stations. Come home to the peaceful cabin after a long day in the park and relax on the spacious deck while listening to the birds or soaking in the mountain views. The kitchen has all of the necessary items to cook up a home-cooked meal and is fully furnished with a stove, microwave, toaster and full size refrigerator. A BBQ grill is also available if you prefer to grill outside on the deck. The cabin is small (600sq ft) but well laid out for a family. With a queen bedroom, a set of bunk beds and a sofa sleeper that can accommodate 5-6 people. Clean, newly renovated bathroom includes rain shower head, new vanity with large mirror. Amenities include fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans and dishes, microwave, coffee maker & filters, oven, refrigerator, propane grill, and streaming WiFi. Depending on the time of year you visit, don't be surprised if you wake to a moose and her calf in the yard. We often have early morning or late night visitors helping themselves to the willow in our yard!

This little cabin was just as great as the pictures shown in the listing. It was very clean and the owners were prompt to communicate. It’s just north of the entrance to Denali National Park and the drive to the park is gorgeous! We had an incredible stay!!

My husband and I along with our 2 sons ages 11, and 13 stayed at the cabin. It is super adorable and looks just like the pictures. It is about 15 minutes from Deanli National Park and along the way you pass a small shopping area with gift shops, restaurants and adventure companies. It is also only 5 minutes from the grocery store, gas station, laundry facilities and 49th State Brewing which we ate at often because the food was awesome. During out stay, we hiked multiple trails, ziplined, whitewater rafted, etc. but we also enjoyed our time at the cabin, walking around the cabin, hanging out at Otto Lake (which is amazingly beautiful). This cabin was the perfect spot for all our adventures and I would definitely stay here again if I ever have the opportunity to visit Healy again.

The house is only about 15 minutes from Denali National Park and comfortably suited our family of 4 with all the amenities we needed for our stay. House was super clean and nicely furnished. Great mountain views in a quiet and secluded location. Excellent communication with host for an easy stay. Thank you!

Nice little private cabin, nearby to Denali. We are a family of 4 and were very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed, with plenty of cooking utensils. Approximately 15 minutes from park entrance (we used a rental car). Shower was warm. Loved the cabin.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our two adult children very comfortably. The space was very, very clean and cozy and quiet with a gorgeous view. We visited Denali National Park while we were there and it was only about a 15 minute drive. We ate at the Black Diamond Cafe down the street as well as the Thai food truck in town and they did not disappoint. It was nice to be away from the crowds of the Canyon area, especially at meal times. There is a nice grocery store nearby that we used as well. The pictures of the cabin give a good accurate portrayal of the property. I highly recommend this cabin. Thankful for our time there.

We enjoyed our time at The Nest. It was clean and oh so cozy. The surrounding area was pretty and very quiet. It felt like we were on top of a mountain all alone. It was wonderful. The cabin was well appointed and was exactly as described. Katherine was easy to communicate with and responded to any questions very quickly. If we are ever in Healy, AK we will stay here again!

This is a very beautiful property & close to Denali! Our adult son stayed with my husband and I and we had plenty of room! Giant mother moose and baby visited walking right by our truck parked out front! Quiet and overall a lovely stay!

This rental property was by far our favorite place that we stayed in Alaska. The view of Mt. Healy was spectacular and watching the sun set on the mountain was a great highlight. The cabin was beautiful and well equipped for our family of four. Although small, it was a great size and satisfied most of our needs over four days. We lucked out with good weather being on the north side of the mountain range. The location was close enough to the park and provided easy access to the restaurants and other amenities that were available in Healy. We would happily stay here again.

Overall, great experience. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 1). The water in the shower didn't really get hot (it did at the sinks so not sure why) and the bathroom light was finiky. Other than that, it was a great stay. We've stayed at lots of short term vacation rentals before and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. The view is amazing, and location is near Denali. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars, and would definitely stay again.

Great little place with a great big view!
The Nest was a great spot for us during our time at Denali. It was super clean and comfortable and quiet--removed from all the hustle and bustle of Denali. While the space is small, it is laid out really well and with a great deck (and great weather!), we were able to really enjoy the outdoors and the view! Katherine was a great host and prompt with her responses to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend The Nest!

Great location away from the crowds
This cabin was exactly as advertised with "stunning mountain views". The location in Healy is very convenient to Denali NP but away from the commercialized strip just outside the entrance. Cabin was very comfortable for our family of four. Window shades were effective in blocking out the midnight sun. Would have loved to stay longer.

Lovely cabin in very convenient location to Denali. It was the perfect place for us to call home a couple days as we explored the area. As a bonus we saw a moose and her calf just down the road!

Nice quiet place outside Denali
"The Nest" was a nice, quiet place about a 20 min drive from the Denali Park entrance. Pics are accurate. Place was clean. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch looking at the view (and swatting the occasional bug). Pull out bed was pretty comfortable, which you always wonder about with any rental, so the 6 of us slept fine.

We had a great stay at this home. It was perfect for our family of 5 with separate beds for the kids in main living space. The kitchen was well equipped and met our needs. The views from the living room were postcard perfect. Highly recommend!

I am so happy we found the nest. It is one of the cleanest VRBO places I have ever seen. It has a lot of extra features that they thought of to make people’s stays more comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The property was cozy and clean with a spectacular view of the mountains. It is located near many activities but is secluded to give privacy. The cabin had everything that we needed. Katherine was a great host and responded quickly to our messages. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was nice and had a homey feel to it. It definitely can hold 5 people. We had 4 in our group. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is nice and clean and has a hot shower. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. There is a nice TV to watch but why would you want to… There’s plenty to see outside. We hiked Denali Park and drove through it. We saw Moose and Caribou near the road grazing. Be sure to go see the sled dog tour there. It’s pretty neat. Anyway, if you’re looking for a nice comfortable place to stay, this is a great choice.

This is an unbelievably nice place in Healy, where providing such wonderful amenities is a challenge. The attention to detail was truly outstanding. We did not expect to be so comfortable during our stay. A welcome respite from Denali Park which is as wild as it gets!

We spent 4 nights. Everything was as listed. There was a very complete kitchen, excellent WiFi, lots of hot water. Clean and comfortable.
