Enjoy the Chamberlands amenities in the Summer months which include Private Beach.This spacious family home is situated in the popular Chamberlands neighborhood. Clean, comfortable, and affordable are 3 words that describe this upgraded 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Situated with all family member needs in mind, it allows for peace and quiet throughout the home. The single story home is perfect for all of your guests! The large backyard and deck offer ample room for entertaining the whole gang! The great west shore location is within walking distance to Homewood Ski Resort, West Shore Cafe, Obexers Market, and Homewood Marina. Features: * Privacy * Forest views * Access to trails * Fireplace * Large deck * Close to Homewood Ski Resort * Close to Chamberlands HOA Beach Bedroom Configurations: * Bedroom 1: King Bed * Bedroom 2: Queen Bed * Bedroom 3: Queen Bed Other things to Note: * Parking is available for a maximum of 3 vehicles. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance. * Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access. * Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell. * Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months. * Renters must be 25+ * Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults * This is a non-smoking home. * Pets are not allowed at this home. ***Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of electronically signed Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking the reservation*** Permit Number TOT Cert 11869 *STR22-5456

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It has an amazing kitchen, comfortable rooms and communal space, and wonderful amenities. It is perfectly located for access to Homewood for skiing, and I imagine it would be wonderful in the summer, as well. What's more, we left something at the house, and the management company went to the house, found it and sent it to us, which we so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a solid 3 bedroom house. It has a big, well-equipped kitchen with great appliances. The picture show a small dining table, but it expands to seat 8-10 with chairs and two benches. It has a big two car garage, but the doors are short so we has to take our skis off to drive into the garage with a few inches of clearance over the rack on our BMW x5. It has a big driveway that can hold 4 cars. It has a small hot tub (4 seats) outside of the main bedroom, but not all the jets were working.

Our 5 night stay at Buffalo Lodge was perfect! From the houses location we were able to do day trips to just about all of the Lake Tahoe attractions. The house is located in a great spot to start bike rides either way on the bike path, to Squaw Valley or to Meeks Bay. Would definitely rent the house again if were came back to Tahoe!

We were unable to make it to our vacation rental due to the lovely snow we had over the holidays . Our first day was reimbursed because the people renting before us couldn’t leave because the road wasn’t plowed. The next two days hwy 80 was closed and the rest of the time either it was recommended not to go or we only had 2 nights left and weren’t sure the power wouldn’t go out again. We live about 1 1/2 hours away and for 3 days we couldn’t get out of our own road for the snow. No travel insurance so.... We do hope to rent this cabin gain as it looks like our family would enjoy it. Ignore ratings! I keep getting an email to review and I didn’t go so I’m trying to stop them from coming!

Great location amazing kitchen
This is not the typical Cabin in the area but it is a very well maintained house very comfy, spacious and has everything that is needed .
The kitchen is AMAZING !
I wish I would have the appliances they have . We cooked all the time and had everything we needed and more .
The location is great close to Emerald bay and amazing Hikes !
We loved Tahoe and loved the house .

Nice kitchen for friends to enjoy cooking together. The house was good for 4 adults and many of the homes in the area are very nice. The only downside was a “party house” across the street that a local had warned us would be noisy. They definitely were.

Rented house for friends wedding who was getting married near Tahoma and this location was perfect for our group. There were 3 couples staying here and all of the beds were very comfortable! Place was clean and had full amenities. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Property and Location
We decided to try a different area of Lake Tahoe and glad we did. I have always stayed on the South side. Homewood was perfect and just 10 minutes from Tahoe City. The home was clean and comfortable. With a Beautiful back yard and large hot tub. Had Cable and Internet. Enjoyed everything about it. Please be cautious! We had bears visit twice. We will definitely be returning.

We spent Thanksgiving 2020 in the Buffalo Lodge and had a great time. We were 5 (two couples). We found the lodge very comfortable. The rooms layout is smart and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped so we managed to have yummy meals every day. We used the grill as well. We were looking for an accommodation with a hot tub so we made the most of it.

I visited for 3-nights with my parents, husband, and 10-year-old. My parents favorite thing about the stay was the large kitchen and BBQ grill on the back deck. My favorite thing was the steaming hot tub on the back deck, overlooking the lovely back lawn, surrounded by trees. It was very relaxing and at night I could look up at the stars. My dad also very much enjoyed sitting around the fancy fire table on the front deck.

Spacious Floorplan and Steaming Hot Tub

Amazing West Lake Cabin
My group of 6 loved this property, especially the spacious and modern kitchen which was restaurant quality! The location is great, and would be even better on years with enough snow to ski Homewood, which is basically walking distance. Anyways, beautiful home, I would highly recommend it.

Buffalo lodge
Great spot - great location. Only complaint is that the rental company wanted to charge a crazy amount for an early check in - I understand with the snow there’s plowing to do but it seemed a little high for what we were asking. Otherwise - highly recommend.

The beds were comfortable and the setting was quite private as the back yard is mainly open space and the house sits on a wooded corner lot two blocks from the highway.
We enjoyed the close proximity and access to the private beach area at Chambers Landing about 1/2 mile away. Although we did not use it, there is a shuttle bus that runs from the neighborhood over to the beach area. The hot tub was a wonderful addition and we enjoyed bbq on the back porch.
While staying at Buffalo Lodge, we rented bikes at Homewood and road to Tahoe City, rented a boat in Tahoe city for the day, golfed at Tahoe City Course, and enjoyed several hikes and afternoons on the beach at Chambers Landing.
Despite the bear gates and bear boxes there were no yogi's to bee seen this trip--just chipmunks and blue jays!
The property management team was awesome in assisting us with retrieving a few items our daughter left behind. Reservation, pre-check-in, check-in and check-out could not have bee easier. Great mobile app and communication.
We hope to return again!

Perfect house in a great location
This house is immaculate and has everything you need for a vacation. I wish my own home was half this organized. Management company was great and responded quickly when I locked myself out on a holiday weekend. Enjoyed our days at Chambers beach and the ease of using the shuttle to get there. We will definitely be booking again!

We enjoyed staying in the Buffalo Lodge! It was clean, cozy, and comfortable for a family relaxation trip! The location is wonderful. Lake around the corner, deli just up the road and ski rental across from that. Walk to skiing at Homewood! The cabin is stocked and provides everything needed. The hot tub was a great soak in the cold night air! We would rent it again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin.
