Nice quiet location, outside the busy Funchal area. Nice view and comfortabele casa. Own kitchenette and fridge is handy. Beds could have been a bit bigger. For >1.80 people to short. Good pillows.

We had a perfect stay at Casas Serenas. The house was very tasteful decorated, placed in a lovely garden and at the same time practical.We had a wonderful view from our terrace over the sea. Our host Emanuel was very kind and has given us a lot of information what to do in the area. We also enjoyed after a long way of walking a bath in the hot tube.

Amazing place with beautiful garden. You can find more modern hauses with modern equipment, but this place has a soul. It is older house but with all necessary equipment and very nice decorations. Kids enjoy garden an jacuzzi very much.

it would be great to have mosquito net on some of the big windows, so you can sleep with open window to cool down house afetr hot day and not worry about mosquito nips

Thanks to Emmanuel it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Our apartment was beautiful, clean and it has fantastic atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi or laying on the sunbeds. There are no words to describe the garden full of flowers, palm trees, agaves etc. Emmanuel gave us snorkel equipments and offered several places that worth visiting. The sunny Calheta is a good place to start exploring the island as it is rougly the middle of Madeira on the south side. We are absolutely sure that if we ever come back to Madeira we will book Casas Serenas again! Highly recommended!

It was a very nice location, with a very nice garden attached to it. The location is rather remote and excellent for a quiet getaway. The host was very kind and provided us several tips.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat with a view over the sea. Every detail had been thought of to make our stay comfortable. Emmanuel was warm, welcoming and helped us to plan walks to make the most of our time. It's a shame we had to leave!

You'll arrive in the most beautiful garden. The casa is really cozy and has everything you need! Have a bbq in the garden with great view on the sea or relax in the jacuzzi.

Clean house, fully equiped kitchen, beautiful garden! The jacuzzi was welcomed after a day of hiking.There were also little presents of welcome in the kitchen. Also we would like to thank Fabrice, he was aa very good and nice host, gave us advice on where to go and what to eat.

Fantastic hosts, in a lovely quiet location overlooking the ocean. Set in beautiful surroundings and gardens, great attention to detail. It has everything you want as a self-catered holiday base, lovely and clean with convenient supermarkets nearby and all the necessary appliances etc. Great value for money

Beautiful, cozy, green... real paradise! We were for three nights in Casas Serenas as part of our honeymoon and we enjoyed it so much, we didn't want to leave. Cozy, small but super practical house just for us with panoramic windows and big veranda with amazing view to the Ocean and to banana plantation. There were so many exotic plants like palm trees and colorful flowers. We had as compliment a wine, water and some snacks. Very convenient parking space on premises for us. Very friendly and responsive landlords. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen. And the djakuzi was the best part, super relaxing, warm water, view to the palmtrees and the Ocean. Thank you so much, Casas Serenas, we would definitely come again one day :)

Amazing place to spend a holiday - fabulous garden, calm and private place to stay. The house was very bright, clean, comfortable and cozy - had everything what you can need for a holiday. Very glad that we have stayed in this amazing place! Highly recommend it!

The garden and the house was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The owners were wery nice, they gave us very good recommendation, where to go, what are the best place to visit.

This definitely is the most beautiful and most neat place I’ve ever been to, and both Sandrine and Emmanuel are the nicest, the most attentive and friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. Not only on arrival we were greeted with some lovely surprises but also during our stay we regularly received valuable advice where when and how to head to. We couldn’t have wished for more. The apartment and it’s interior is built with lots of love and with a great eye for detail, I’ve quite seen a lot but this exceeds any expectations one can ever have. Sitting on the beautiful terrace one has a gorgeous and amazing view to the sea, it’s so quiet and calm; in the back in the garden there’re numerous flowers and plants you “normally” only see in botanical gardens, there’re lots of birds around, lizards and sometimes cats briefly visit. We would be very pleased to come back, thank you so much for having us. Merci beaucoup mille fois, nous vous souhaitons tout le meilleur, ça c’était vraiment un temps mémorable!

Very nice, friendly and helpful owners who provided us with fruits (even gave us one of their mangos directly from the tree), delicious home made jam and once with eggs. Beautiful situation of the house surrounded by the garden and with seaview. Very quite. House nicely and well equipped . We enjoyed it very much and will recommend it.

As we stayed in december when it gets early dark and even in Madeira sometimes chilly in the evening it would be nice to have another comfortable sitting place inside the house like a sofa. But this is a suggestion and not a complaint.
