This home is perfectly situated 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake's bars & restaurants, yet secluded on a quiet private road. No neighbors can be seen from the property. 1 mile from Lake Flower boat ramp and new rail trail, 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake, 3 miles from Mt Pisgah, 7 easy miles from Lake Placid & Olympic Village, 19 miles from Whiteface mountain, Memorial Drive & North Pole Santa's Village. There are beaches, boat ramps, kayaking, hiking trails, snow tubing, snowmobiling, X country skiing nearby. Also, there is the Ski jump, bobsled and public ice skating in Lake Placid. Boat rentals available nearby for total enjoyment on the Saranac chain of lakes. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe available for use in nearby Lake Flower or second pond. This log home has 2 large bedrooms on the main floor both with Queen size beds. A large newly renovated bathroom w/ stand up shower also on the main floor. On the lower level is a private entrance large 3rd bedroom which has a twin over full bunk bed and a queen size bed. A 2nd bathroom with a bathtub is located on the lower level. The lower level room can handle a whole family on its own. An open area living room with a beautiful artisan stone fireplace will keep you warm at night. 8 man pub dining table and a fully equipped newly renovated kitchen. A pull out couch is in the living room. Off to the side is a screened in porch and a back deck with a patio table/chairs and stainless steel gas BBQ. (propane provided). In the side yard is a patio/fire pit with Adirondack chairs for enjoying a camp fire and relaxing. Washer/ Dryer is provided. Free high speed Wi-Fi provided. Rollaway cot and air mattress. 50' HD TV in living room and 32" led tv downstairs. Blue ray DVD and sound bar. Kuerig K cup machine with complimentary coffee. *No extra pet fees* 4 surveillance cameras in use on property monitoring exterior doorways. 1. viewing front doorway 2. viewing garage side door 3. viewing screened porch door 4. viewing driveway & road entrance #Neil Peart can stay here for free, RIP#

Our stay was wonderful. More than we expected, everything was perfect!

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards.

Perfect location and property for a family stay. Close to town and all of our planned stops while feeling like a cabin in the woods. Generous hosts that provided clear and detailed information that made things easy for our trip. Highly recommend!

The property had a log cabin feel in a cottage style home. Very quiet neighborhood with privacy. Location was fantastic. 15 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to the center of the town of Saranac Lake. Ample accommodations if you want the deep woods cabin feel without being away from civilization. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity presented itself!

My husband and I took our parents away to boat in the Saranac Lake region. The weather was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this home - where it was easy to prepare big breakfasts before setting off on our adventures for the day! We did not take advantage of the fireplace (not needed) nor the outdoor firepit - but that was due to the presence of black flies and mosquitoes! They too, it seems , were enjoying the exceptionally warm weather that weekend! Great home - provided all we needed for a relaxing get-away!

Very clean, well equipped and cozy cabin in the beautiful woods. Perfect for family getaway in the Adirondacks. Comfortable beds and living space and a short drive to all that Lake Placid has to offer. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

The house was very easy to rent. It was very charming and rustic. It was clean and the landlord was easily accessible. We would rent it again if we decided to go back to the Lake Placid area. Thank you.

This log home was one of the highlights of our very enjoyable week long stay in Saranac Lake. It has such natural, rustic beauty. The views of the woods outside each window add to its inside beauty and peace. There were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and everyone had room to spread out!
The very large lower level bedroom was perfect for my daughter's family of four at the end of the day. Her two toddlers (4 & 2 yrs) had loads of fun inside and outside of the spacious, clean, well kept home.
After our daily Adirondack adventures, we enjoyed returning to its comfort and peace.
Grocery stores and restaurants were not far.
We would love to return to this peaceful log home!

The house is beautifully decorated in Adirondack decor. It is well stocked with everything you need. We loved using the fire pit. The location was great !! We hope to come here again!!

Perfect Family Getaway
Perfect home to celebrate the beginning on 2022. It is close to Whiteface Mt and Lake Placid. The home is very well maintained. We loved that our teen girls were able to have their own space downstairs with a TV and bathroom. We hope to rent this lovely home again soon!

Very nice cabin. Clean, safe, and convenient. Very close to town and Owner communication was excellent. One note = do not forget to bring your own towels... ;0). The shower door in upstairs bathroom is a bit tricky, you just have to provide a little bit of upward pressure on handle to close completely. Great place to stay... would highly recommend.

This is one of the cleanest rental properties we've stayed at. It was comfortable and well-equipped. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for the kids and wasn't musty despite being below grade. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks/canoe on the nearby ponds and lake. The house became a bit warm during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, but the fans and the screened porch helped with that. A very enjoyable stay.

Great Experience!
Completely private well maintained home located right outside of Saranac Lake and 10-15 minutes from Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to bring our dogs which was a huge plus. Our host communicated well the property was nicer than even described. We made use of the gorgeous fireplace anytime we weren't enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and host and we will look to book again in the future!

The cabin was exactly as described. Perfect location with nice wooded setting.
Property was spacious and comfortable. Perfect location, just close enough to activities and shops but with nice wooded property that was quiet and private. Kitchen and living room were great for evening card games and reading after a long day of enjoying hiking and outdoor activities. Appreciated the attention to detail and all the home supplies provided.

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The cabin was close to all the activities we wanted to do. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials for cooking. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party of 7. We loved the outdoor fire pit area. Thank you

Great place to stay
We had a great experience with our house. It was just beautiful. It was very clean, everything was shoveled and the walkways were clear of snow. Very close to Saranac Lake. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I hope there is an opening for me next year.

Simply amazing!
The house is simply amazing! It looks and it is more functional then one can see in the pictures. Easily fits 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Very secluded area however very close to downtown Saranac ( and other attractions that we wanted to explore). It is thoughtfully stocked with all of the necessities. This was our first stay in the area but we truly hope to return . Thank you for renting your house to us!
