Everything about the house and our stay at Casa do Rio was perfect. Each of the rooms are big and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the outside area and the view was more than we expected. The communication with the host was easy and friendly, and check in and check out was seamless. We 100% recommend and we will visit again!

Fantastic location overlooking the Douro. 5 minute drive from local supermarkets. Nice balcony where you can barbecue and eat with a fantastic view.
Need to be careful with you food, leftovers and crumbs, watching out for ants! The owner warmed us about this and we kept it under control easily.

Great outdoor space with pool table and foosball that the men enjoyed. Very pleasant view. Comfy beds. Good water pressure although showers are small. Easy check-in.
Wood-fired oven is not very practical for most guests that want to cook.
