Escape to Marathon in this large 5 bedroom 3 bath waterfront home in the heart of Marathon Florida. This clean home is bright and spacious with a large open living space perfect multiple couples or large families. This unique Florida Keys home has two finished levels so the family/group can spend quality time together in the spacious upsairs area or enjoy some private time in the downstairs lounge area. Bring your boat or rent one for the week and keep it on our large 68 ft deep water dock. The house is a quick 5 min away from from the Ocean inlet and the best fishing in the world. Not into fishing? Relax at the house and enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony or lounge in the chairs in the backyard. Two kayaks and a paddle board are available if you want to spend the day exploring on the water. Enjoy the floating dock for easy Kayak loading. House Layout: Upstairs: Large open floor layout with kitchen, eat-in island, dinner table and living room. Off the kitchen is a large balcony (half screened in) with seating area and beautiful views of the Canal leading to the Ocean. Room 1: Master Suite - KING bed + on suite (Jacuzzi soaking tub & walk in shower) + crib Room 2: KING Bed (Shared hallway bathroom) Room 3: Queen Bed (Shared hallway bathroom) Downstairs: Large finished lounge area with two sliding doors leading to the covered deck and backyard. The property is great - pool was awesome for me and the family - there are a couple areas in the house (bedrooms) that need attention near the ducts. Overall the property was good.

We stayed 2 weeks. First week couples(6 people) and 2nd week family (10 people) plenty of space for everyone . A lot to do right in the property. Pool was such a plus. My son brought a sailboat and that with the kayaks provided a lot of activities.
Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

This property was the perfect place to bring the children and grandchildren for a family vacation. The property was clean and included so many extras. The pool was especially perfect for young children and the adults alike. The steps allowed the young children to play while adults relaxed. There were daily visits from the manatees. There was plenty of space for three different families and two dogs. Location is close to restaurants, grocery store,fishing charters and the beach, but not on a main Street. The host was very responsive to any needs although we had very few. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our extended family vacation! It was in a great location for fishing and close to all that Marathon has to offer. It has a lovely bait cooler and ice machine. The pool was great for all ages. Plenty of bedrooms and hang out areas for everyone. Two fantastic carports that kept our vehicles shaded from the sun. Exceptional property!

The pictures don't do it justice. The home is fantastic for a large group and the pool, ice maker, dock access, etc is just fantastic.

Excellent location, right on the canal.. Children loved seeing schools of fish, manatees, having kayaks was a plus, the swimming pool and pool equipment for kids was also a plus. Kitchen well equipped. Furniture and outdoor area could be updated and upgraded.

We had a great week! Love the location of the house just minutes away from the ocean by boat. We had fun watching the manatees in the canal everyday. our kids especially love the pool and how they keep it so warm so they could swim at night. Had all the extras like paddle board, kayaks pool toys, chairs for the beach. There’s a coffee shop and ice cream bar right down the street. Also, a clothing gift shop, Birkenstock store and another ice cream shop a little further (walking) overall loved this place. Would stay again!

The house is very large and very well located in Marathon. There was a small problem with the pool when we arrived, but the owner immediately contacted the pool company, and it was fixed the next morning.
It was convenient to have a dog park next to the house.
Internet could be better, my partner had a little trouble working (50 mbps).

Property owner is great to work with! He responds quickly to all communication. Location is excellent - close to grocery store and a great little coffee shop. The house is pretty much as described. It would have been nice to have a working coffee pot and toaster. We would definitely stay here again!

I was surprised things we didn’t think we needed and needed the property had. Loved the location and the spaciousness. There was more then enough room for all of us. The pool and access to water with paddle boards was a bonus!

We can’t say enough great things about this rental. Beautiful property inside and out. There were a total of 11of us and we had plenty of room for everyone. The location on the channel was ideal for a few of the fisherman in our family. We’ve been to the Florida Keys many times, but this trip was by far the best. The owners have made this rental and its extras family friendly. We have used VRBO for years and this rental did not disappoint. Thank you, Jay, for your hospitality and we would love to stay here again!

This property was everything we where looking for as far as atmosphere, and it was a nice place to relax, after exploring the keys every day. The owner was quick to answer any questions or concerns and even was understanding when we had a mishap with an animal. The only thing that could improve this place further is the addition of a Roku or firestick for the televisons. None of our party watches cable and only one TV had YouTube or Netflix. Plenty of towels, laundry supplies, kitchen utilities, and even bluetooth speakers avaliable it was a great addition to our stay!

The Sun shelf on the pool was perfect for the 4 year old and 18 month old to gain confidence to swim on their own within the first few days with swim vests. The pool items, swim vest and connect four was a huge hit! Plenty of beach towels!
The best part is the spray fountains around the pool. Fun in the daytime and beautiful at night! Hammock was fabulous and enjoyed.
The downstairs living area was great for quiet play in the evening before bed, build a puzzle and just visit.
The bathroom downstairs is perfect for space and great shower.
Downstairs beds are firm and better for children than adults.
Fooseball table in the foyer was a hit.
Wonderful kitchen that was well stocked for cooking. Lots of windows to look out on the canal.
The porch was wonderful and we spent many hours watching the other boats come in, the tide move in and out, a school of fish that was there everyday. Loved seeing the manatee and pelicans.
3 bedrooms upstairs, one is a master with a crib in an adjoining space was a real bonus for us. High chair and toys were great!

Filled our needs
The pool, dock, canoe, paddle board, and kayak were great! Our family used them a lot and made our stay at the house very enjoyable. Could use more drawers in 2 bedrooms and closet in 3rd bedroom upstairs should be to put clothes & shoes, not vacuums and cleaning stuff. Loved the back porch and foosball table. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Very kid friendly
We had 4 grand children with us ( 2 1/2 years old down to twins at 11
Months old ). At no time did we feel the place was unsafe for them. That was the hardest thing to find was a kid friendly place. This is definitely the place. Winn Dixie and Publix are a mile away. The kitchen was accommodating and if you wanted to go up it to eat the food was delicious everywhere we went. The neighbor Rob was so nice and he will take you out on his charter boat fishing. We flew into key west airport which is only an hour and 10 minutes away. And we also visited there a couple days too. Sombrero beach is right by the Publix and the kids loved it. This was a very great memory making family trip.

The home provided everything we needed for our week-long trip.
We slept in the master bedroom & the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom also had a nice big shower & tub - the shower was great but we didn't use the tub (too hot for a bath in August!).
The kitchen was very well stocked (better than most I've stayed in) which is a big plus! They even had a cabinet dedicated to plastic cups that could be taken down to the pool area. My boyfriend loved the stove-top with the griddle in the middle & the ice machine & outdoor freezer by the pool were clutch - great idea!
The pool area was nice & very well kept. We took full advantage of the bikes & kayaks, which was nice to have already on-site. We also rented a boat for a few days & were able to dock it right next the house which was super convenient (note: there aren't any stairs leading down to the wooden dock on the canal so you may need a little help getting back up to the pool area from the dock).
We took a shuttle to Key West for the day & were close enough to a bus stop that we walked to catch the shuttle. You can also walk across the street & book a helicopter tour!
Restaurants we enjoyed were:
La Nina (great Cuban sandwiches & a good hogfish sandwich). The Key Fisheries is also a good place to stop for lobster rolls & a shark show - they have all kinds of fish & nurse sharks that hang out right there at the dock of the restaurant.

The downstairs ice machine was a great bonus. Kids had plenty of space to play games or pool. The kitchen is fully equipped including some food items and condiments. We used the kayaks and brought our own paddle board. We saw manatees and had coffee on the balcony. It truly was exactly what we were hoping for.
