The house is great for kids and families. You don't need a car, but you may want to take in some of the areas gorgeous sights. Lake Placid, Gore Mountain, Saratoga, and Fort Ticonderoga are a short drive away. Closer (10 minutes) is the Village of Lake George. Plenty of things to do: boating, parasailing, jet skiing, mini golf, shopping, movies, restaurants, museums, Great Escape Amusement Park are a few. 5 minutes away is the Sagamore Golf Course. Stunning views from the course make it a must see. Lake George is 32 miles long and one of the most scenic lakes in the country. House: Our home is in perfect condition. There is plenty of room, The sofa's, beds, dining room, washer, dryer etc. All new. Floors, bathrooms, and interior walls are also new. The view is perfect from the sunroom overlooking the pond. You will be comfortable and happy in this kid friendly home. Favorite Activities: We love the restaurants in town: the Sagamore Hotel has several places to eat, great lunches & dinners at Lakeside Restaurant, there is Cate's for great Italian food, music on Sunday's at Fredrick's, Bolton Beans for breakfast, Huddle House, and several more. Shop at Happy Jacks, the Indian Teepee Shop, Lakeview Trading and more. The kids love our after dinner strolls for ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's. We love Tuesday night movies under the stars at the town beach across the street from our road. There's always craft festivals and things going on in this fun little town. The Sagamore Golf Club is beautiful. Our family absolutely has a blast at the nearby Adirondack Extreme. But most of all we love to be out on the water. Whether you bring your boat or rent one, you have to get on Lake George. Words can't describe it's natural beauty. It's our favorite thing to do!

Cabin was in a super convenient location. Walked to beach, public dock, numerous restaurants, tons of fun shopping, ice cream, candy shop, deli, Tops market, and the brewery. We only had to drive to Chic’s marina really to pick up rental boat. Remember it’s a rustic cabin on a gravel road, and not a luxurious modern house. Plenty of hot water for 8 people! If any of your party has trouble walking or climbing stairs, that could be an issue, but we were fine. If you are used to camping, you will love it!

This is our third trip to the Lake George area staying in Bolton Landing at this house. There were 7 of us in all. Our children and grandchildren traveled with us. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and easily accommodates a group. A minutes walk to town is such a highlight! The beach area is 2 minutes down the street and great for the kids. There are several nice restaurants in town or just down the road a bit. The village is 10 miles away with tons of shopping, boat tours and a fort for the kids. A great house and location!

Best house for families
We rented this house for a family vacation. We range in ages for kids and this house fit all of or needs. Between child gates and extras around the house helped so much for our little ones. The house was sooo clean and fully stocked for all of our kitchen needs. I usually bring the essentials and didn't need to unpack most things I brought. I highly recommend this home for ur future visits. Most things are in walking distance. The village is so congested so it was nice to enjoy the lake in a smaller town less congested and drive to the main part when needed. The owner bill was in constant contact and very attentive to any needs we had. Definitely recommend and will rent again.

Bolton Landing Lpve
We absolutely loved Bolton Landing and the Reynolds little lake house. My husband especially liked all the family memories that were displayed through pictures. This house was everything we needed being super clean and in absolutely wonderful location! We will definitely be back!

We loved staying here! Once we parked our car we were never in it again. The beach is right down the road and all the shops. Restaurants and bars are in walking distance! It’s a great get away!

Nothing short of excellence
This is the second time we have stayed at this property in the last 2 years. The house is a minutes walk to town, but very secluded. There are shops, a winery and brewery and many places to eat. Wonderful house to relax in with a fire pit and gazebo in the yard which overlooks a pond. The owners are great and have provided for all your needs!! We will be back!!

Even Better Than Pictured
We were pleasantly surprised as to the overall cleanliness and inviting atmosphere when we arrived at the house. When they say within walking distance, they really mean it - you can leave the car behind and stroll into town, which is what we did multiple times a day, including to a lovely little beach a mere 3 minute walk from the front door. Our crew of two families included 4 children, all under age 8--and they never tired of ways to run and play. The home is stocked with everything you need and you won't regret choosing this home! We look forward to going back already!

Great house

Great choice!!
After searching and reading multiple listings and reviews, we chose to stay at this home and could not have been happier. The location was great for walking to beach and town and was on a quiet, peaceful street. The house itself was spotless and well-equipped with anything we could possibly need for the week. Loved the layout and the multiple choices of places to relax and enjoy ourselves. Bill was a wonderful host who responded quickly to all of my questions. Looking forward to returning!

Great vacation home
Home is perfect for extended family and friends. There were 9 of us and there was enough room to spread out over the 3 floors and the outside gazebo area so we didn't feel cramped. The dining room table was also big enough to gather around to eat and play games. The location is perfect. Just a short walk into town and close to everything. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Great vacation!

Perfect location to paradise
This house was perfect for our family and also fit the needs well of both of our children ages 5 and 1. It was equipped with all the basic needs as well as extras such as coffee, condiments, sand toys, tennis rackets, high chair and crib (just to name a few) which were all greatly appreciated. My 5 year old daughter particularly enjoyed the firepit area with the ducks and smores! The location truly couldn't have been better as we were able to walk to the beach at our leisure as well as the restaurants, brewery, stores, ice-cream, and run around the Sagamore. Thank you for an unforgettable experience that we hope to return to in the future!

Cozy inside
We stayed in the summer and plenty of fans and air conditioners for the whole place. Lots of fun surprises were left like games for the family, books, etc..
Very clean, very attentive hosts, safe and quiet neighborhood, gravel street with speed bumps close to front of house with the occasional slow car. Not much room for kids to play outside. Back pond is beautiful to view from gas fire pit but you cannot access it or swim in it. You may be able to fish on it. We fed the ducks that were on it.
There is a nice little beach On Lake George two minuets Walking from the house. The main town is also 2 min walking from house.
I think this would be a great winter rental as well, which I plan to try one winter!

Location, location, location
Accommodations overall were great, clean and accurately described. Kitchen was stocked with the basic tools of the trade, and beach toys, and various indoor games were provided which were highly appreciated. The location was phenomenal with walking distance to the town and public beaches. The only thing the house lacked was natural sunlight. Rooms, particularly downstairs, were dark and not well lit.

Perfect lake house!
We had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The house is in a great location, walking distance to the shops, restaurants, beach, basketball court and fishing pier. There are also so many additional activities in a short driving distance. We never ran out of things to do during our week stay.
The house itself is very clean and comfortable. Many bedrooms and comfortable beds. Outdoor gas fireplace was a nice gathering spot. The dining table is large enough for everyone to sit and eat together. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and all the tableware we needed.
Couldn't be happier with our stay! Would highly recommend.

Fun, Family Home
We needed a place for one adult couple, four separate adults and one eight year old; this place rocked it!! Communication with the Reynolds Family could not have been any better. When I texted a question, someone immediately responded. I spent a great deal of time in the kitchen which had everything we needed including a Keurig coffee machine and a regular brewing coffee machine, both of which we used every day. I loved the kitchen island with its two doors and my granddaughter loved sitting inside it. All good!!!
We spent most of our time in the sun room in the back. Such a lovely spot. Other than the grill which my husband said worked great, we did not use the outdoor facilities (they look lovely and very usable) because we had more family with a place on Lake George and we would spend our evenings there. We would not hesitate to come back again to this home in its well kept and conveniently located neighborhood.

Spacious house in a nice location
This was the 2nd time we stayed at the property. The house is bigger than it looks with different couch areas which was nice for the kids & adults to have separate spaces. It’s walking distance to the public beach & town which had plenty of shops & restaurants for the week.

Lovely home, great location
We had a lovely stay in the Reynold’s home. The house is in the perfect location. Short walk to beach and town. The house had everything we needed for the week and we enjoyed our stay. Bill has excellent communication and was accommodating to our needs.

Lake George vacation home
A great week with excellent accommodations. Owners very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay.
Thought of everything re: needs including beach accessories,to WI-FI, to 2 types of coffee makers. Home was very clean.
Appliances, plumbing and cooling system all worked well (no dishwasher).
Proximity to the friendly small town of Bolton Landing was perfect. We walked to all our activities.
My wife and I along with our five children ranging from age 23 to 12 were very pleased with what the home and area had to offer.

Wonderful Home, Walking distance to all Bolton Landing has to offer!
We had such a great experience renting this home from Bill and his family! We had 5 adults and four children 6 and under and there was plenty of space for all of us! Firstly, and most importantly, it was perfectly clean and arranged! The sunroom with floor to ceiling windows and a comfy couch was home base for all the kids to hang out during the stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up breakfast, lunch or dinner! We loved having the ability to walk to the closer beach in town, which was probably a five minute walk. The buzz lightyear room was a hit with the kids. With four twin beds, it was exactly what we needed! The adult rooms were all very comfortable; however one of the rooms in the basement, the one decorated with the bear motif, did NOT have an air conditioner, which was unexpected. Luckily we packed a fan, and there was also one in the room which helped make it more comfortable. We loved the fire pit in the backyard at night and made lots of memories making s’mores and having fun! Despite it being on the pond, it wasn’t buggy at all— not one mosquito bite! And it was fun hearing the sounds the toads make at night. I could go on and on about our stay! It was just so wonderful! If you are on the fence about staying at this property-DO IT!! You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful and relaxing!
This home is just amazing! There were 6 of us including a 3 year old. I'm not sure which one of us had the most fun! To begin with, the house is immaculate and decorated in a woodsy, lake theme. There are three living areas but much time was spent at the rear of the house, in the family room, that is windowed and overlooks the pond. The kitchen has everything and anything that you would need. A large dining room can accommodate 8 to 10 people easily. The bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned individually. Our grandson especially loved the Buzz Light year room! The backyard has a covered fire pit area that was wonderful to enjoy in the evening when it got cool out. The location of the house is perfect. Literally, a one minute walk to the village. However, due to its location you can't hear anything going on there. There are very good restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops right there. There is a very good winery and brewery also. Food store right in town is great. . The beach area is very nice and right across the street. If you have little ones bring a wagon for easy transport of things. It's great to go down in the evening and watch the boats on the water. The village of Lake George is 15 minutes away and there are lots of things you can do there like eat, shop, visit the fort, mini golf or take a ride on one of the steam ships. We rented a pontoon boat one morning right at the dock in Bolton Landing and explored the lake. The possibilities are endless. I can't say enough about the house or the entire area. I did not have the pleasure of meeting the owners, but through texts and conversations it is obvious that your comfort is their main concern. Thanks for a wonderful week and I sure hope we have the opportunity to visit again!

This house is absolutely beautiful and very charming.
We would absolutely stay here again. We almost don't want to give it a good review because we want to keep it our secret, it's that nice. Deb and Bill have made sure that there is nothing that you would need at the house other than food. We were amazed at the amount of little necessities that were already there for us to use. The house is extremely clean and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cups, everything you need in the kitchen including small appliances. Very impressed by the décor and homey feeling. We never had to drive into town, as it is within walking distance to Bolton landing. There is not one bad thing to say about this property. Looking forward to going again. Hopefully it will be available the next time for us. Thank you Bill and Deb.

Amazing fun-filled family week away at the lake!
We had such an amazing vacation- the house is PERFECTLY located! There wasn't more we could ask for; walk to the town beach, restaurants/stores, and a quick drive to Lake George Village and other local sites we took advantage of- hikes, boat rentals, etc!
The house itself was clean and had everything we needed and more. The kids loved playing in the backyard, close to the pond, exploring all of the local wildlife.

Great house in a great location
The property was great for our family including my wife and I and three teenagers with one friend. It does not have large living areas, but it was very comfortable. What we liked most about the house is how close we were to Bolton Landing allowing us to walk into town frequently.

Beautiful rustic getaway
Our rental was amazing: very family oriented and immaculately clean when we arrived. So many added touches and you cannot beat the location !! We were able to walk to everything including the lake beach. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful well maintained house with so much room!
If you are planning to come visit the Lake George area, look no further! This house is walking distance to all of the beautifully quaint town of Bolton Landing. You can walk to Lake George, the Sagamore, the beach, the restaurants and shops of town. This house is close to everything in Bolton Landing and a short drive to anything in Lake George village area. They have beach chairs, towels, lots of space to sleep 10 or more including a crib or pack n play for small children. It is really well kept and Pat was excellent and easy to work with.
The kitchen is stocked with anything you might need for plates, pots and utensils, fridge, stove, microwave, blender. There is a big eating table that easily seats 6. This house easily accommodated our family with two adults and four young children.
We were able to rent a boat to go on the lake just down the road, visit the beach, hike, horse back ride, visit six flags, ride the steamboat, shop, dine and go to the rodeo all with ease with this house as the home base of it all. Thank you Pat/William, we really enjoyed our stay!
