WC à la turc, pas de pression sous la douche, pas de lavabo, décoration horrible photos du patron en uniforme datant des années 80 epoque de dictature militaire, pas de drap de dessus, situation sans intérêt au milieu d'un champ de maïs,fenêtre de la chambre donnant sur un couloir équipements de la chambre sommaire pas de table de nuit

Great value, great hosts. We would stay again if we come back to the area.

It’s a nice quiet location, but close to the port area for travel. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. His wife made snacks when we arrived. The room is large, with an additional kitchen-like area next to the bathroom with filtered water and sink etc.

There is no hot water, but we were aware of it from other reviews before booking….so no surprise and no problem.

It may not look the best on reviews but believe me the owner/family make your stay memorable

After experiencing issues with both fast boat and ferries we found ourselves stranded at the docks with about 1000 of travellers - in need of accommodation overnight due to ferry cancellations I stumbled upon Bougenville Homestay. The family (of Islamic faith) greeted us with open arms and could not be more hospitable. Throughout the day more and more weary tourists arrived and even though all rooms were booked they gave up their sons room and also the husband/wife room. The whole experience was so humbling the way they would go that extra mile - not for the money but just wanting to help

I was sick from sick poisoning in bali, so I had to stop a couple days, they were very kind and offered everything i needed, fruits, food and medicine. The room is veery big and clean

A beautiful homestay run by a very generous and interesting family. The bed was comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Breakfast was delicious. Tea and coffee are freely available. The owner was kind enough to not only let me check out late, but also bought me some fruit for my journey to the Gili Islands! I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

Away from noise and close to ferry.

Away from a main road, the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Could order local food from them despite arriving at 8pm. Beds were fine, on the stiff side. Traditional toilet hole-bucket and shower combo well maintained, no hot water and pressure is a bit weak, nothing dramatic. Free tea/coffee(instant) and water refill in the kitchen but no cooking possible. No mosquito net, no A/C, but portable fan was provided, didn't have mosquitoes that night.

For this price I'm not complaining about details, nothing specific put

Cute owner

The owner was very friendly. He gave us dragon fruit and papaya from trees in his garden. He said that next time we should call him for pick-up at Lembar harbour. Very cute! He responded very quickly

Relatively close to the port, 2 km. Very close to ticket point. Mr. Halil, the host, is a very good, smiling and helpful person. A quiet village house in greenery.

No wifi. There is no air conditioning. No Shower. Instead of the Shower You need to pour the water flowing from the faucet onto you with the help of a mug. Very authentic but the shower needs to be :) You can stay for 1 night.

Clean and spacious. Kind host, quiet location. Including breakfast. Enough for one night.

No shower, just a hose at hip hight. Standing toilet with a bucket for flushing. I think it's mainly used by local workers.

I had a short but lovely stay at Villa Bougenville. I was picked up from the ferry port and welcomed with hot tea and a homemade snack even though it was already midnight. The bed was super comfortable and thanks to the location, it was very quiet and calm - perfect to get a good night's sleep! In the morning I received delicious homemade breakfast and a small tour before heading onwards. It was lovely, thank you!
